Came here for a birthday dinner and the pacing was really well done. We never felt rushed, which I appreciate. The staff were attentive without hovering. I did notice the menu leans a bit heavy on rich dishes, but the greens on the side were fresh and crisp. A solid spot if you're looking for a relaxed evening out.

Lunch special hit the spot — soup, a solid piece of cod with sweet potato, plus coffee for €22.50. Soup was tasty, coffee nice and creamy. Good deal for the price.

The daily special was fresh and well-seasoned, plenty for what they charge. Place fills up fast, so grab a reservation if you're bringing people. A solid wine list too, nothing fancy but it paired nicely.

Big portions and the fried rice with fried chicken really hit the spot. Owner was super friendly too. Solid pick if you're in Ghent and hungry. 😊

The owners are the ones cooking and serving, and you can tell they actually care. Set menu’s got decent flexibility, not too rigid. Wine by the glass was well picked too. Place isn’t fancy, but it doesn’t need to be. Solid spot if you’re in the area and want a straightforward meal without the fuss.

We stopped in for dinner and I gotta say, the food was fresh, no complaints there. But what really got me was the wine list – nice little selection, and our server actually knew how to pair things. That made the meal for me. Place was pretty relaxed too. Only thing, menu’s only in Dutch, so ask for help if you need it.

Stumbled into this place while wandering away from the tourist crowds in Ghent. The sourdough is homemade and honestly the antipasti platter was the highlight. Owners are super friendly, felt like being at someone's house. Just wish the bread came with a bit more olive oil.

Solid vegan junk food fix. The Korean crispy chicken tenders actually hit the spot, even for someone who usually skips mock meats.

The duck breast was cooked really well, and the beef stew hit the spot. Good spot to bring visitors for local dishes. Fried chicken was a bit dry, but I'd still go back.

The tapas were solid and the wine list had good options by the glass. Staff were friendly enough. It's a bit tucked away from the main streets, but that's fine.

The Gentse waterzooi was really fresh, not heavy at all. Cozy spot, felt like a home kitchen. Portion was decent for the price.

Stopped by for a quick dinner and honestly the meat was the highlight. Charcoal taste came through just right, no need for any fancy sauce. Had the grilled potatoes with herb butter on the side, pretty solid. Place gets busy so don't expect instant seating. Fine for what it is.

The scallops were outstanding—easily the best I’ve had in a while. The wine list had a nice local touch that paired well with the steak. Location’s handy, just off the main drag.

Tried this place for the first time and honestly the chicken choila really stood out. Smoky, spicy, proper Nepali style. Momos were good too, juicy and soft. I ordered the mix starter platter just to taste a few things and the pakoras were the highlight for me. Nothing fancy about the place but the food did the talking.

Stoofvlees was decent, sauce wasn’t quite my thing. Staff made up for it though—genuinely friendly. Handy spot if you’re near the station and want a quick bite.

Nice little wine bar with a solid natural wine list. Staff actually knew their stuff and pointed me to a great orange wine. Cheese plate was decent, went well with the pours.

The pho here hit the spot — broth was rich and the noodles had a good bite. Portion size felt right for the price, honestly. Staff were polite, kept it simple. Place is basic but clean, nothing fancy. Fine if you just want a quick, warm bowl without overthinking it.

Service was quick and the staff friendly, though a bit formal at times. The food felt freshly prepared, and the overall vibe was pleasant and welcoming.

Came in for a quick lunch. The set menu had enough options and the food was solid. Plates came out fast, which I appreciate. No complaints about the quality either. Just a straightforward spot for a decent bite when you're short on time.

The owner actually took time to walk me through the menu — lots of local and organic stuff. You can tell they really care about what they serve.

Spaghetti was decent. Not mind-blowing, but hit the spot. Portion felt fair for the price. Place was busy, had to wait a bit for a table. Wouldn't go out of my way, but if you're in the area and craving pasta, it works.

Decent spot for a quick lunch. City croque was fine, salad on the side was fresh. Service fast enough. Nothing fancy, but you know what you're paying for.

We grabbed lunch here and honestly, the soup + main deal is such a steal for the quality. Tables looked really pretty too, like someone actually cared about the setup. Service was on point, not too fussy. Would totally come back with my friends for a casual catch-up. Just wish it was a bit less busy when we went, but that’s on us for going at noon 😅

Bit of a hike from the tourist spots, but the portions are solid for what you pay. Got the veggie pasta and it was decent, nothing crazy. Price felt fair for the amount on the plate. Good spot if you're hungry and don't wanna drop a ton of cash.

Stumbled in here without a plan and left happy. The food was solid, well-prepared. Only thing is the upstairs seating is a bit steep, so watch your step.

Came for the waterzooi and honestly it hit the spot. Creamy, rich, proper comfort food. We sat near the window and it was chill enough to actually talk without shouting. Service was friendly, not pushy. Only thing—took a bit to get the bill, but we weren't in a rush anyway. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends.

The hostess was super friendly, made us feel comfortable right away. We grabbed a bunch of tapas, the veggie ones were actually good, not just an afterthought. Place was busy but we never felt rushed. Only thing, we waited a bit for the bill at the end. Still, a solid spot for a casual dinner.

Solid Belgian spot. Fish stew and beef stew were both good, fries were a letdown though. Service was quick, location's hard to beat.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the stew plus the Thai curry. Both had decent flavor, curry was the better pick. Ribs came out a little dry though. Place is dog-friendly and the terrace was nice, got a bit busy around noon. Fine spot if you're in the area.
