Been twice now, food's proper fresh and homemade. Coffee was so good I grabbed a bag for home. Small spot though, bit of a squeeze.

The salmon with mash and veg in white sauce was spot on—proper comfort food, well-seasoned. Easily the best meal I've had in a while.

Tiny little place but the cabbage dish genuinely blew me away 😅 Didn’t expect much from a veggie plate but it was so light and well done. Deffo book ahead though, it’s packed.

Crispy plaice was spot on — tender, flaky, proper seaside taste. Staff sorted us quickly without fuss. Decent spot if you're nearby.

Stopped in for the first time last week—owner Michael actually came over for a quick chat, proper welcoming. Place was spotless too. Got the chicken dish, it was solid, nothing fancy but done right. Reckon I’ll be back, that kind of easy vibe is hard to find.

The biryani here is proper - really flavourful and the portion size caught me off guard. Good price for what you get.

The staff actually remember you when you come back - that never gets old. Got my usual order and it came out fast, still hot. Solid spot for a relaxed dinner when you can't be bothered cooking.

First time in this place and the covid stuff was handled well. Staff were sound, food was decent for the price. Reckon I'll be back.

The southern fried chicken was proper good, and the price felt fair for what you got. Service was sound too, really looked after us without hovering.

Proper pub grub and the prices were fair for what you got. Staff didn't fuss when we took our time deciding. Solid stop if you're in the area.

Grabbed takeaway sushi here last week. Fish was fresh, packaging held up fine on the walk back. Portion size decent for the price. Nothing fancy but it does the job when you need a quick fix. Wouldn't go out of my way for it, but it's a solid option if you're nearby.

Service was impressively efficient even on a packed night. The mixed seafood platter and chowder starters were excellent, and the steak and scallops were cooked perfectly. A great find.---Went on a busy Saturday and still got seated quickly. The seafood chowder was decent, creamy without being too heavy. Steak came exactly as asked, scallops were pretty good too. Place was loud but that's on us for picking a peak time. Fair price for what you get.

Been coming here for a while now and the Asian Style Oysters still get me every time. Pork belly was solid too. Service stays relaxed, never rushed. 👍

The coffee here is genuinely good, and those little buns are a nice treat. I grabbed a seat by the window and just chilled for a bit. Cozy spot, not too crowded in the afternoon. The bun was fresh, which I appreciated. Wish they had a few more healthy snack options, but the coffee alone makes it worth stopping by.

The full Irish breakfast here is proper generous — eggs done right, pudding not greasy at all. Just wish I'd clocked that tea and coffee were extra before we ordered. Ended up paying a bit more than I expected but the plate itself was solid. Wouldn't mind coming back for it again.

The decor is properly mad—all kitsch and colour, made for photos. Desserts were lovely and not dear at all. Staff dead friendly too. Only thing, they don't take cards, so bring cash.

Tried the pizza and fillet steak — both were spot on. Place gets busy fast so booking ahead is a good shout. Service was grand too.

The chicken korma was proper. Sauce had real depth, not the watery stuff you get in most places. Portions are decent but the sit-in price is a bit steep compared to takeaway. Rice costs extra too. Flavour's there though, that's what matters.

Decent spot for coeliac options. Staff were sound and knew their stuff. Food was pretty good, though nothing blew me away.

The pasta was honestly as good as what I had in Florence, and the vegan options are lovely too. Nice spot for catching up with friends over dinner. 🍝

Decent enough pizza if you're after classic takeaway style. I ordered online for collection, which was smoother and cheaper than dealing with the counter. Food was ready when I got there. Nothing fancy, but it does the job for a quick dinner. Fine for what it is.
