Great service by a generally young, enthusiastic team.Well priced wine for the quality at a very sensible mark-up.We can’t fault the food and it was very consistent across a variety of dishes. We would definitely recommend as a great local business to support.

The arcade and pool tables are a nice touch. Their craft beer selection was a pleasant surprise for a place like this.

The food is freshly and well cooked using great ingredients. The menu has something for everyone. We received a good greeting on arrival and the surroundings were comfortable and well tended. Service was cordial and the staff very pleasant and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed our luncheon in the pleasing surroundings.

A lovely spot by the lower ferry. I really appreciated the fresh ingredients in my salad—the greens were crisp and the vegetables tasted garden-fresh. Just what I was hoping for on a sunny day. The staff were very pleasant too.

Came here with my dog, they gave him a little mat to sit on. Nice touch. But my main dish was £18 and honestly, the portion was a bit small for that price. Felt a bit short-changed.

Been here a few times now. The fish is always moist and flaky, chips have that proper crunch. Just hits the spot every time.

The breakfast here is solid. I had the full English, and the bacon was cooked just right - crispy but not burnt. The staff were on it, especially Tommy who was really helpful. Good spot to start the day.

Tried the Christmas menu with my mates last night. Really well presented, and honestly such good value for what you get. Perfect for a festive catch-up!

Been coming here for years, and those cinnamon swirls are the reason. Always get there early, they sell out fast. It’s that kind of reliable, homemade taste that keeps me coming back.

Perfect for a catch-up with the girls. The scones were warm and the clotted cream was so good. We sat in the garden by the water for ages, just chatting. A really nice, relaxed vibe.

Scallops were the highlight. Juicy, with that maple bacon butter. Just a really good dish.

Been coming here for years. Their carrot cake is always spot on - really moist, not too sweet. The banana cake with meringue is a nice change. Tastes exactly how you'd hope.

The service was quick and friendly, which was nice. The place was quiet too, so we could just relax and enjoy our food. The steak was cooked just right, and the pasta had a really nice, fresh sauce.

The Gurkhali Lamb was so tender it just fell apart. The naan was a real highlight for me - crispy on the outside, still soft inside. A really nice surprise.

The terrace view is lovely, but honestly, the portion sizes for the price are a bit disappointing. Ordered the grilled sea bass and it felt quite small for what you pay. Nice spot, but not the best value.

The salad was solid - fresh ingredients, decent portion for the price. Service was prompt and efficient. Good lunch spot near the office.

The outdoor tables have a lovely view. It’s a nice spot to sit. The eggs benedict was good, came out quick, and the price was fair.

Popped into this old village pub for a pint. The lounge bar is a proper cosy spot, low ceilings and a real fire. Just the kind of place you want to hunker down in on a damp afternoon. Pint was spot on.

Been coming here for years. The crumble is always spot on, just like you'd make at home. Portions are decent, never feel like you're being short-changed on the plate. Prices are fair for what you get.

Popped in for the Sunday roast. The beef was really tender, and the Yorkshire pudding had that perfect crisp edge. Veg still had a bit of crunch, which I liked. Decent portion, felt like a proper homemade meal.

Staff were super friendly and attentive, really made the meal pleasant. Food was decent, but it's the service that stood out for me. They were on it without being overbearing.

A proper family-run spot, feels like someone's home. The staff are lovely and chatty. I saw a mix of locals grabbing a quick bite and tourists with maps out. Really nice vibe for a relaxed lunch.

Lovely chilled vibe for a Sunday. Carly was just so warm and attentive, really made us feel looked after. That kind of genuine service is a nice touch.

Came for the Sunday roast. That roast beef was just spot on, really tender and flavourful. The walnut brownie after was a nice touch too. Good spot for a lazy weekend lunch.

Handy spot right by the ferry. Popped in for a quick bite before catching the steam train. The portion for the fish and chips was decent, but at £16.50, I did expect a bit more on the plate. It filled me up, just.

The room was a good size and spotless, which was nice. Plenty of space to spread out without feeling cramped. Handy for exploring Sidmouth, too.

Lovely spot by the water. The burger was really tasty, and the wrap too. I appreciated the comfortable seating, made it easy to relax and enjoy the view.

Lovely spot for a drink by the water. The outdoor seating really gives you that holiday feeling on a sunny day.

Took the kids here for a late lunch. The dedicated play area was a real plus, kept them occupied. My mushroom linguine was solid, good flavour. Menu has decent variety. Service was efficient.

The tasting menu was a real treat. Every course looked stunning, like a little piece of art on the plate. The flavours were spot on, and the wine pairings just worked with each dish. A lovely, relaxed evening.
