Love the cosy vibe here, perfect for a solo lunch. The toasties are always spot on. Gets a bit busy at peak times but they keep things moving.

The menu had some really interesting stuff you don't see everywhere. I went for the grilled octopus with black garlic purée – it was a nice change from the usual. The texture was spot on, not rubbery at all. A bit pricey for the portion, but I'm glad I tried it.

Been using the honesty box shop for years. It's dead handy when you run out of milk or need a snack. Simple idea, works well.

Lovely, light space. Had a nice lunch there, the wine list was decent and fairly priced. A pleasant spot.

Stumbled upon this place inside a corner shop. The whole takeaway-in-a-store thing is a bit odd, but honestly, it works. Grabbed the chicken katsu curry to go, and it was spot on. A solid, no-fuss meal.

I really appreciate that they don't use beef drippings or beer batter. The fish was so fresh and flaky, and the chips had a nice crisp to them. It felt like a healthier, cleaner take on a classic. Simple and tasty.

Been coming here for years, and the beer is always spot on. Properly kept, just the right temperature. It's the one thing you can count on every time.

Love the art deco building, it’s a really stylish space. The sea bass was lovely. Just a bit pricey for what it is, but a nice spot.

The Sunday roast is a proper portion, good value. Staff were friendly and efficient, which made for a relaxed lunch. The beef was tender, and the Yorkshire pudding was spot on.

Easy to find and there's parking nearby. I keep coming back for their fresh ham salad rolls and gluten-free cheesecake. It's just a really relaxed spot to catch up with a friend over lunch. The cheesecake is a nice treat if you're avoiding gluten.

Really enjoyed the relaxed Mediterranean vibe here, Spanish music was a nice touch. The tapas were fresh and perfectly cooked. Their house red was a surprisingly good match for the charcuterie board. Solid spot.

The fish was massive and cooked just right, with lovely crispy batter. The wait on a Saturday was a bit long, but it was worth it.

Stopped by for lunch. The staff were really nice and chatty, made the whole thing feel easy. Food was decent for the price. Just a chilled spot to eat.

The king prawns and duck dumplings were solid. Straw fries were a nice touch. Portions are fair for tapas, so 2-3 dishes per person is about right. Service was efficient, which I appreciate.

Two of us were starving, so we got the whole works - starters, mains, dessert, drinks. The bill came to about £50. Honestly, for how much we ate, that felt pretty decent.

Lovely spot with a great view. The cocktails on tap were a nice touch, made ordering easy. The place was clean and comfortable, which I really appreciate. Parking was no hassle either.

The menu had so many interesting choices, it was hard to decide. We just walked in and got a table straight away, which was a nice surprise.

Came here for breakfast with friends before a day out. The full Welsh breakfast was huge and kept us going for hours! 😊 Evening menu looked tempting too, might come back for dinner sometime.

The vegan breakfast option was a nice surprise. The ingredients felt fresh, especially the avocado and tomatoes. Portions are generous, which is great for a healthy start to the day. The owner was friendly too.

Been coming here for years, and their tempura soft shell crab never disappoints. It's always perfectly crispy, never greasy. That consistency is why I keep coming back. The mussels are great too, but honestly, I'm here for the crab.

The homemade sauces are the star here. The tartare is perfectly balanced, and the curry sauce has just the right gentle kick. Really makes the fish and chips something special.
