Been coming here for years. Their fried oysters are always spot on - crispy outside, tender inside, and the shrimp salad is packed with shrimp. Just a solid, reliable meal.

The chicken entrée was the standout. Perfectly cooked, the skin was crispy and the meat stayed juicy. It's a small space, so definitely book ahead. My only note is that the portion felt a bit small for the price.

Crispy Brussels sprouts were a standout. Caesar salad was fresh, dressing balanced. Drinks were solid. It did get quite loud inside, but service was responsive. Convenient location for a business lunch.

Solid beer list, solid burgers and wings. The live music was a nice touch for a Thursday night. Good spot for a casual business dinner. Prices are reasonable for the area. Service was efficient.

Cozy spot with a divey feel. The artichoke dip was really fresh, which I always appreciate.

The Cajun chicken and waffles were solid. Good seasoning on the chicken, and the praline syrup worked well.

Came for a quick lunch, and it hit the spot. Got the chicken stew plate. The portion was huge, honestly more than I could finish. For the price, you really can't complain. Just solid, simple food.

They handled our rehearsal dinner for 50 people so smoothly. The space was elegant and comfortable, but what really stood out was the food. It was seriously impressive, like something from a high-end restaurant.

Portions were huge, especially for the price. We shared a couple dishes and still had leftovers to take home. Felt like a good deal.

Service was really on point. The team was friendly without being overbearing, and they knew the wine list well. Suggested a nice red that paired perfectly with my steak. Felt like a regular even though it was my first visit.

The red beans and rice with the cheesy cornbread was the star for me. So comforting. The cornbread was warm and just crumbly enough. I’d go back just for that.

Portions are huge, we took home enough for lunch tomorrow. The wine list had some decent options by the glass, which was a nice surprise. A solid spot if you're looking for a hearty meal.

The crawfish bisque was rich and the seafood in lemony cream sauce was fresh. But the portion size for the price felt a bit small. The Chardonnay pairing was nice, though.

The veggie omelette was a standout. Came out piping hot, veggies had a nice sauté to them, not mushy at all. That's the kind of attention to detail I look for.

Service is friendly and efficient. It's a seat-yourself spot with self-serve drinks, which keeps things pretty relaxed.

First time here and the staff was so sweet! They helped me pick a tea that was perfect for our little catch-up. Made the whole vibe cozy and welcoming.

Roast beef po'boy is fully dressed with a great gravy. Gets slammed at noon, so call ahead if you're in a hurry.

Tried the Hurricane Roll because everyone raves about it. The flavors really work together, you can tell the chef knows what they're doing. A solid choice.

The house-made BBQ sauces on the table were a nice touch. I really liked the original one—the flavor was just right. It made the meal feel easy and relaxed.

The Southern Hotel's restaurant offers a beautiful ambiance with stunning decor and a delightful view of downtown Covington, making it a perfect spot for a special occasion.

The salad bar is the main draw for me. So many fresh toppings to pick from, and I can build my bowl just right. It's a simple thing, but it makes lunch feel like my own little creation.

Chris was our waiter and he really made the night. So patient explaining the menu, never rushed us. That kind of service is a real skill. Food and vibe were solid, but Chris was the standout.

We're regulars here. Cody always helps us pick a great pizza. The booths are super comfy, which makes it a nice, easy dinner.

Love the historic building! The extra crispy wings were spot on, and the cheese fries hit the spot too. Great prices.
