This is a traditional dish of braised fish wrapped in fried dough sticks, a dish only found in old shops around here. The dough sticks were indeed fragrant and crispy, and the braised fish was cooked to perfection, though a bit too oily. Locals usually eat this with a bowl of porridge, as it's a bit too rich on its own.

The waitress was so nice! Seeing I was eating alone, she was worried I'd order too much and recommended the small portion of their signature grilled fish, which was just the right amount! So thoughtful, I'm so happy! 🥹
