The cold noodles were indeed chewy, and the vinegar and garlic sauce was perfectly seasoned! I have to praise the secret-recipe chili oil; it was fragrant, spicy, and not greasy at all, and it really enhanced the flavor. I suggest you add a grilled sausage when you order, paired with the restaurant's jasmine tea—it's a perfect way to cut through the richness.
There's always a queue at this restaurant around here during mealtimes. Last time I went at 7:30, their signature braised pork rice was already sold out.
It's an old shop, and the liangpi (cold skin noodles) still tastes the same.
