Service was so warm and attentive, really made the evening. The food was lovely too, but it was the staff that stood out. They were just present, but not hovering.

Midweek carvery deal is a steal. Huge portions, especially the roast beef. Fills you up without emptying the wallet. Solid choice for a quick, filling meal.

Popped in for a pre-match meal before the rugby. It was packed, buzzing with a good crowd. The steak was cooked just right, but the chips were a bit lukewarm. Still, a solid spot for the location.

We visited here for Sunday lunch, the carvery was excellent with great choices of meat, which included lamb, Turkey, gammon and beef, all cooked to perfection. Great selection of vegetables, roast potatoes and the best pork crackling I’ve tasted for a a while. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would certainly visit here again.

The last-minute wedding reception was flawless, and the food was incredible.

Had a group lunch here, 7 of us with gluten-free needs. They handled it no problem. Went for the set menu, easy to share. Flavours were clean and clear. Quick and efficient for a big table.

The coffee is really good, and I love that they always give you a little cookie with it. Nice to see gluten-free and veggie options on the menu too.

Popped in for a quick breakfast. The portion sizes were generous for the price, really hit the spot. The beer garden looked lovely for a sunny day. Good value for money.

Been coming here for years, and the staff are always the same friendly faces. They remember my usual order, and it just feels comfortable. That consistency keeps me coming back.

Had a really nice Sunday lunch. The food was cooked beautifully, full of flavour, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was lovely and welcoming, which made for a very relaxed meal.

The food here is absolutely amazing! The steak was cooked to perfection, and the garlic bread was outstanding. I highly recommend this place for a great meal.

Came here for the first time last week. The place is spotless, really tidy inside. Felt nice and welcoming just walking in.

Been coming here for years, and the food is always spot on. I popped in for a quick lunch today and it was just as good as ever. The staff are really friendly, which makes it a nice, relaxed place to eat.

Been coming here for years, and the veggie breakfast is still my go-to. Those sausages are spot on every time. Appreciate that they’ll still sort it out for me if I’m running a bit late.

The lady who greeted us was so helpful with the menu. All five courses tasted incredibly fresh, you could tell the ingredients were just-picked.

Sunday carvery delivered early, still piping hot. Good portion for the price. The gravy was a bit thin, but the wine I had at home paired nicely with the roast beef. Solid option for a lazy Sunday.

The new menu is a real step up. I really appreciate the focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The grilled vegetables were particularly good – you could taste the quality.

The Bang On Burger was a solid choice, really hit the spot. Portions are huge here, almost too much for one person. Good value for what you get.

Been coming here for years. It's a solid spot for a coffee or a proper meal. The food's always good, and they're set up for bikers which is handy. Staff are decent.

The chicken was so tender it fell apart, and the sauces had this lovely depth. Really hit the spot. Just a bit on the pricey side for what it was, but I left feeling properly satisfied.

The indoor bowls here are top-notch. Came to watch a tournament and it was a really pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Grabbed a pint and a bite from the on-site cafe, which was handy.

Came by with my dog on a hot day. The staff brought out a big bowl of icy water for him without me even asking. Really thoughtful touch. Saw the food on other tables, looked good. Quick, friendly spot.

Solid old-school cafe. Honest food, good cake selection. Staff are friendly, and it's always buzzing with locals. Just a nice, straightforward spot for a cuppa and a slice.

Been coming here for years. The lamb shanks are always the reason I keep coming back - fall-off-the-bone tender, every single time. It's that kind of consistency you appreciate.

Had a lovely lunch here. The fish and chips were spot on, crispy batter and proper chips. The view over the harbour was the real star though, made the whole thing. A bit pricey for what it was, but you're paying for that vista.
