Seafood platter is highly recommended. Do not get mislead by previous negative reviews. Everything was really good for us

fantastic! really good!! staff and food excelent. parking, simpaty and quality are some of the caracteristics of this restaurant. Don't miss!!

Very accommodating and helpful. We were traveling and the area was new to us. The restaurant gave us excellent information regarding the town and the food.

We had a wonderful experience with the Menu de degustação. The food was exceptional and showcased the excellence of Portuguese high quality produce and the chef's undeniable talent. The wine pairing was extremely well chosen with excellent wines to match the excellent food. The only improvement point is that the dishes were served a bit too fast for our taste. We would have appreciated a bit more time between each serving.

The tuna steak came out properly cooked, nice sear on the outside. Portion was solid, didn't leave hungry. Chocolate mousse with profiteroles finished things off well. Sat by the canal, pretty chill spot. Service kept up fine. Only thing, prices are a bit steep for what you get, but the food held up.

Solid spot for a business lunch. Service was quick, plates looked tidy, and it stayed quiet enough to actually talk. Nothing flashy, but it worked.

Grabbed a sandwich here for lunch. Bread was fresh, filling was decent, came out fast. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot. They're open later than most places around, which helps. I'd go back if I'm in the area and need something quick.

Stopped by for a quick bite and ended up grabbing way more pastries than I planned 😅 The bifanas were the highlight honestly, super tasty and pretty filling. Prices are fair for what you get, especially if you're hungry. Place gets busy around lunch but it's worth squeezing in. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Been coming here for a while now. The vintage decor is what keeps me coming back honestly, gives the place a real character you don't see much anymore. Service was quick today too, no complaints. Solid spot for what it is, especially for this area. Not fancy, but it doesn't need to be.

No reservation, walked in right at opening and grabbed a table. Place was packed by 7:15 though. Steak was the best I had in Portugal, no doubt.

Came here after a friend’s tip, it’s a little tucked away but easy enough to find. I had the steak and honestly it was better than some fancy places I’ve been to. Cooked just right, juicy, no fancy sauce needed. Portion was decent for the price too. Would go back if I’m in the area again.

The garlic clams really got me—never been big on clams but these were something else. Seafood stew came out huge, loaded with different fish. We took our time over lunch, probably sat there longer than we should've. That spot in Costa Nova made the whole afternoon feel slower, in a good way.

We came with a big group, like 50+ people, for lunch and then dinner. Mario and the team handled it well, food came out looking nice and tasted good. Portions were decent for the price, which is what I care about most. Service was smooth, no long waits even with our crowd. Solid spot if you're eating with a bunch of people.

The staff actually took time to walk us through the menu and gave decent suggestions. Felt like they cared about the meal, not just rushing us out.

The vegetarian pizza surprised me, in a good way. Fresh tomato cubes and basil actually made it taste like something. Dough was a bit pale though, and the "large" is more like a standard 30cm, so don't expect a monster. Fine for what it is.

Loved the octopus rice here, super tasty and the place has that cozy family vibe. Right by the canal too, easy to find. Staff were nice enough to adjust things for me. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends 🙂

With a good price-to-quality ratio, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The service is efficient and the food is consistently delicious.

The cookie mousse dessert really stood out—beautifully plated and delicious. Everything else we ordered was fresh too.

Stopped by for a quick bite and ended up staring at the view the whole time. The building’s cool, but the vineyards around it really steal the show. Food came out fast, which I appreciated. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot for a lunch break. Wouldn’t mind coming back just for that scenery again.

The starters from the round table are the real deal—plenty of tasty options and you can keep going back. Owner and crew were friendly, though I wish they had a better wine list to match the food.

Came for Sunday lunch, ordered the seafood rice and a carafe of vinho verde. Rice was fresh, full of shrimp and clams. Staff left us alone until we needed them, which I appreciate. Solid spot in Espinho, nothing fancy but it works.

The seafood rice here was fresh and packed with flavor. Grilled codfish was solid too. That "cream of heaven" dessert though — definitely the highlight. Cozy spot in Aveiro center.

Stopped by for a francesinha and it hit the spot. Sauce was rich, bread soaked just right. Place was busy but not chaotic. Staff let me take my time. Solid if you’re in Aveiro and want something filling without overthinking it.

Mocktails were solid, shrimp tempura crispy. Sushi plate did the job but man, prices are a bit steep for what you get. BBQ skewers saved it though.

The francesinha here really hit the spot. Sauce was rich without being too heavy, and the bread soaked it up just right. Sat outside on the terrace, which was lovely. Only thing—it took a while to come out, but honestly, the flavor made up for it. I'd go back just for that.

The octopus panados were the move. Crispy outside, really tasty. Portion was big enough that I ended up taking half to go. Place was busy at lunch but the food came out quick. Solid spot if you want something filling without the fuss.

Nice open-air spot right next to the library. Grabbed a quick bite there yesterday and the vibe was super chill. Staff were friendly, didn't rush me at all. Good place if you just wanna sit with a drink and watch people go by. Nothing fancy but does the job.

The octopus à lagareiro was pretty good—tender, crispy skin, decent portion. Stone-and-wood setting gives it a nice rustic feel. Just wish the service had been a bit quicker.

The cod was really well done — flaky, flavorful, no complaints there. Sat near the window and the light was nice, though the chairs are a bit stiff after an hour. Solid pick if you're wandering around the area and want something simple.
