Had a wonderful stay at Pacific Hotel Cairns. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the city with easy access to the Esplanade, night markets, and fun attractions like the Ferris wheel. Everything is within walking distance, which made exploring Cairns so easy and enjoyable. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Evenings around the area are lively, with great food options nearby street food vibes, and a beautiful atmosphere. Overall, a great place to stay if you want comfort, convenience, and to truly enjoy the Cairns experience. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Brisbane Skytower Apartments and would definitely book again! Location: Right in the heart of the CBD, with Queen Street Mall, South Bank and the ****** all within easy walking distance. So convenient for exploring the city. Room: More like a stylish studio apartment than a standard hotel room. Very spacious, bright and modern, with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light. We had a lovely view overlooking the river. Facilities: The kitchen is fully equipped – not just basic stuff, but actual cookware, utensils, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a decent-sized fridge. Perfect if you feel like cooking. Also great to have both a washing machine and dryer in the room, really handy for travellers. Service: The 24-hour front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We stored our luggage with them for a few hours after check-out so we could explore before heading to the airport – no issues at all. All in all, a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for space, convenience and a home-away-from-home feel.

The service staff is very good. There is a shuttle to the bus station. Traveling into the city is convenient, just a 3-minute walk to the bus stop. Breakfast is provided. But every evening each day there will be a different meal served. The rooms are clean, fragrant, and the mattresses are very soft.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding Stay! We stayed in the 2 Bed Family Villa at Chinchilla Motor Inn and couldn’t have been happier. The villa was modern, spotless, and very comfortable — everything felt fresh and well maintained. The location is excellent, convenient yet quiet, making it perfect for families. What truly impressed us, though, was the amazing service. Our daughter accidentally left her beloved Kindle behind, and the staff went above and beyond to help. They carefully packed it in a bubble-wrap envelope and posted it back to us free of charge, even though we offered to cover the cost and their time. It arrived safely, and we’re so grateful for their kindness and honesty. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days. We’d highly recommend Chinchilla Motor Inn to anyone — fantastic facilities and even better people!

First of all, this is not a 5* Hotel and is not trying to be. This is a budget place to stay and with that in mind, I thought it was great. The rooms were large enough, had a table and chairs, kettle, fridge, microwave, cutlery, the most amenities so far in 4 months of travelling. On top of that, there is a modest pool and a large cooking area that has utensils which was really useful for us budget travellers. The location is as good as we could have got, 30 mind walk to the train station and harbour, an hour walk from the airport. The place also has parking. Although - it was a little dirty and rusty in places - there were lots of tiny roaches which comes with the territory, but still worth mentioning - there were 3 floors in our block, each with a toilet, our toilet was cleaned but no toilet paper replenished for the 3 days we were there

The room itself was great, but the service was really confusing. The room phone didn't work, and housekeeping wasn't very timely. If I needed anything, I had to keep running down to the front desk. And when I checked out, they just randomly deducted from my deposit.

A decent five-star hotel. The room was spacious and even had a balcony, perfect for enjoying the refreshing sea breeze. It's located right in the city center, making it convenient to get anywhere – Cairns itself is quite small, so you can easily walk to most places. A taxi from the airport to the hotel was around 25 AUD.

It was great stay. Clean room, quiet, peaceful ambiance plus the beach itself. Professional staff. In short we love it ❤️

This hostel offers standard facilities, including a large kitchen. The rooms are small with basic amenities and air conditioning. The kitchen and bathrooms could be cleaner. The courtyard has a small pool and plenty of tables and chairs, making it a great spot for young people to socialize. My room's door lock was faulty and couldn't be fixed even after half a day, so I was moved to a different room on the second day. There was a mix-up because the power outlets were in different locations in the two rooms, and I couldn't find them at first. The staff and supervisor on the check-in day were very helpful. However, the staff member who handled my room change was quite slow and unhelpful. I had to pack all my belongings and carry all my bags to the office to complete the room change. I stood there with heavy bags while she slowly processed everything on the computer for over ten minutes. Just as I turned around to find a place to put my luggage, she said it was done. Then, once I was in the new room, I couldn't find the power outlets, which really put me in a bad mood.

Extremely close to the pier, which is super convenient for island hopping. My kids really enjoyed the pool too. Downstairs, you can even cuddle with koalas 🐨, but you need to book that in advance. Breakfast options were a bit limited, but as a Shangri-La member, I got a discount, making it a better value than eating out.
