Compared to the crowded Huangguoshu, this place is much more serene and tranquil, so you don't have to worry about too many tourists affecting your photo experience. The parking lot is huge, so no worries about parking. ⏰ The best time to visit is during the high-water season from June to October. It's recommended to enter before 9 AM for the best lighting. 📷 Must-take photo spots: The canyon boardwalk, in front of the main waterfall, and observation decks all offer great shots. Qianxinan | The Seriously Underrated Ink-Wash Golden State! This is Guizhou's Most Deserving Slow-Travel Secret Gem 🌿 Having traveled through many small towns in Guizhou, only Qianxinan has truly captured my heart. This secret gem, known as the 'Ink-Wash Golden State,' is hidden deep in the southern part of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, boasting the world's most concentrated karst peak forest landscape. Here, there are no noisy crowds, only mountains embracing each other and clear waters surrounding them, where ancient charm and Buyi life intertwine. The climate is mild and pleasant year-round, making it Guizhou's most ideal treasure destination for a peaceful getaway. When you come to Qianxinan, you must visit Wanfenglin (Ten Thousand Peaks Forest), which Xu Xiake (a famous Ming Dynasty geographer) praised wholeheartedly. Thousands of conical peaks rise from the ground, stretching endlessly, layer upon layer, into the distance. The clear Nahui River flows quietly, gently embracing the ancient Buyi villages. In spring, acres of rapeseed flowers bloom freely; in autumn, golden rice paddies undulate with the wind. Cycling along the country paths, with a gentle breeze on your face, your eyes will be filled with healing pastoral scenery. Climb high to overlook the magical Bagua (Eight Trigrams) Fields, whose naturally carved patterns will leave you marveling at the ingenious craftsmanship of nature. Not far from the city center is the Maling River Canyon, known as the 'Earth's Most Beautiful Scar.' Walking along the canyon's plank paths, the cliffs on both sides are steep and perilous, and the diverse calcified rock formations are uniquely distinctive. Hundreds of waterfalls cascade from high above, with mist scattering everywhere, making it incredibly cool to walk through. During the high-water season, the waterfalls are magnificent, and you can often encounter brilliant rainbows.
