After wandering around until my legs gave out, I grabbed some local sausages and fries. Typical for the region, they were quite savory and hit the spot. On the second day, I caught a train to Munich. It feels more like a big city, but the architecture around the old churches is still captivating. The following day, I headed to Neuschwanstein Castle. The climb up is no joke—quite steep! The line for the horse-drawn carriages was way too long, so I decided to hoof it. It took about 40 minutes and left me totally winded with aching legs.
