Spring Majesty at the Palace Museum🌸🏰
#cherryblossom2024
#Beijing #PalaceMuseum #SpringBeauty
They say the Palace Museum encapsulates the essence of spring in Beijing. 🌸 Every year, as spring arrives, the magnolia flowers burst into bloom, creating a stunning scene against the backdrop of blue skies, red walls, and yellow glazed tiles. The contrast of the red walls with the white flowers exudes a sense of solemn beauty.
In the gentle warmth of the sun, pear and crabapple trees quietly bloom, adding to the fullness and grace of the surroundings. Spring remains serene, the east wind gentle, and the begonias steadfast in their beauty.
Year after year, spring brings forth its splendor, inviting us to linger amidst the blossoms and revel in the timeless beauty of nature. 🌸🏰

Palazzo Ducale little piece of history
Romantic piece of history in Martina Franca.
Do not need ticket entrance
One of Puglia's grandest buildings, the Palazzo Ducale of Martina Franca was built as a regal residence. It was placed over the remains of the Orsini Castle that had been built in the 1300s. Conceived of by the Caracciolo family as a type of royal palace to show their status, its original design was to have 365 rooms. Costs and political changes lessened that design, but it was nonetheless an impressive edifice, and still wows visitors today.
The Palazzo Ducale is home to the city's town hall, but also a museum. It is one of the few palaces in Puglia that is still furnished with period pieces, making the salons more appealing and giving a sense of the times as you visit. The halls are frescoed and adorned with artwork.
Suggestive and full of local history
In a dedicated area you can find some exhibition or photo gallery according with the calendar.
Free entry check opening time on the website.
Really recommended if you go in the area.
It is situated in down town really easy to access
There are not elevator or lift but stairs only

The Hong Kong Palace Museum
I managed to visit the newest museum in Hong Kong and it's already one of my fave museums.
The museum itself was well-designed and offered wonderful collections and eye-opening exhibitions. I've learned a lot about the emperors and empresses of China and had fun watching and playing with the games/activities each gallery had.
There's also a viewing deck offering a view of HK Island and the Art Park. It's really worth the visit.
Tips:
1. Bring a good camera/phone for lowlight conditions.
2. Wear a jacket as it gets chilly in the galleries.
3. Bring water. (I brought a lemon tea drink and it's not prohibited).
4. There's a bag check so don't bring sharp objects.
5. Best to go during a public holiday as it's open from 10am until 8pm. I arrived at 3pm and roamed Galleries 1 to 7 for 4 hours.

Royal Vienna Palace - love sissi & frank
Beautiful summer palace where Sissi lived. Grand tour 42 rooms. It's worth while to buy a Sissi combiticket, then you can skip the line and you don't have a timeslot.
You can enter the Palace Park free of charge during opening hours. If you wish to visit to the Schönbrunn special attractions, such as the Privy Garden, the Orangery Garden or the Maze, you need to purchase individual admission tickets
This tour includes 40 rooms and takes approximately 50 minutes. Besides the 22 rooms seen on the Imperial Tour you'll also see the precious 18th-century interiors from the time of Maria Theresa.
Lastly, you're not allowed to take photos inside. So I would suggest sticking to the outside of Schonbrunn Palace. The grounds are really what makes this place so amazing! And most of the grounds are totally free to walk around and explore.
Valid for single admission to all included attractions on the day chosen. This ticket does not include a guided tour. Audio guides or printed descriptions for
€26.00

Iskandariah Palace Kuala Kangsar 🏰✨
At first sight, you will be stunning by the appearance of the Palace. The architecture is flawless and looks majestic with yellow coloration which is the color of the Sultan in Malaysia. Design itself showed the traditional sides of Malay architectural designs and it is located near to the new Istana. 👣
Such a big area of beautiful scenery. It looks really of historical value. We can take a lot of pictures at any angle to get a perfect photo. There is also no ticket or fee to enter the palace, very worth it! 😎
Must visit place!!! 👍🏻✨

The Palace - Forbidden City - Beijing
The Palace Museum - the Forbidden City location right in the heart of Beijing.
The palace was opened its doors to public after the very last Emperor of China was evicted in 1925.
Constructed from 1406 to 1420, the museum consists of 980 buildings - once again 980 buildings 😄 so be ready to walk a lot if you are planning to visit the museum. 😁 You will need not less then 3h.
Amazing structures, acres, bridges, and hell a lot of history. Truly stunning. Worth every penny.
If you are in Beijing this is absolutely a must see!
if you’ll go all the way through the grounds of the palace then, there is the Jingshan park just across the street. Once you climb the hill you’ll have a great view of the forbidden city 😍

Trip to Palace Museum
National Palace Museum is one of the top few tourist attractions in Taipei. Went there during my trip to Taiwan. It was quite windy and cold during early in the morning . There are many things to explore and I get to understand more about the history of Taiwan and art which what I like about. The scenery was also good overlooking the mountains.
Overall I love this place . Worth the visit .

A Day trip to The Forbidden City
The Palace Museum, Beijing, China.
Address :
4 Jingshan Front St, Dongcheng, Beijing, China, 100009
A Must Visit for all the Palace/Dynasty drama watchers!
Tour through the various exhibitions, galleries and period halls which many are clearly explained with texts on the signages.
Aural guides are also available for rent at the booths just at the entrance where you can collect your tickets.
Do plan for a full day trip as the area is really huge and crowded, therefore you will need a bit more time if you want to get nice pictures and see most of the artifacts.
WARNING ‼️
Remember to purchase your tickets online as at time of visit, we were told there was no more ticket sales at the door. That also explains why there are many touters at the entrance of the museum asking foreigners if they need to purchase tickets, as apparently the online payment then doesn’t recognize foreign issued credit cards.
Watch the video above, compilation of photographs I took during my visit :)

Palace Museum
Getting There - The palace museum is definitely a great place to visit if you're ever in Beijing. It is located in a central spot so it's easily accessible by train, bus or taxi. It is in close proximity to the famous Tiananmen square.
The tour lasts approximately 4 hours, so prepare to walk for quite some time. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. If you're going in the daytime during the summer season, be prepared because it gets rather hot during this time of the year.
Luckily, the serve really cool 3D popsicles and frozen treats that can help to keep the heat at bay for a bit. The tour also offers a audio guide in various languages so everyone can enjoy the experience.
Overall, it was a fun, day trip. Excellent experience for both adults and children. A lot of sights to see and amazingly historical artifacts. I would definitely recommend!
