A vibrant Canopy By Hilton in London City

This vibrant hotel is fairly new with nearby attractions such as The Tower Bridge, The Tower London and castle and just minutes away from the nearest tube Aldgate Station. It is conveniently located on the east London with the east London vibe. The hotel lobby and bar is very welcoming. Facility such as changing room, lockers and gym room are provided 24/7 equipped with high tech technogym equipment. Filtered water is available on every floor for free. The room was spacious with very comfortable and plush beddings. There is also breakfast place and a rooftop bar on the 11th floor with amazing night view and bar decor. Bare bones room with nice staff

The hotel is centrally located less than 10 minutes on foot from the bus station and right in front of the train station. The front desk staff is very kind and accommodating. However, the room is just that - a room - no TV, no telephone to contact the front desk, nothing but a bed and bathroom. The man in the room across from me returned at 23:00 and was screaming with someone on his cellphone for at least an hour. There is absolutely no soundproofing in this old hotel so I could hear him even with my earplugs in. No one normal does that in a hotel at that time so I was reluctant to go past his door and down to the front desk to complain for fear if some kind of trouble happening as I was a solo female traveller. The only front staff I met were both female as well so I felt afraid the screaming man could cause more trouble than they could handle. #oviedo #location #old #noisy

Como Metropolitan Singapore offers a decent breakfast, gym and the presence of renowned Parisian artisan Cedric Grolet (not included in package). Situated near the popular Paragon Shopping Centre and across from Ngee Ann City with Takashimaya and Luckin Coffee kiosk, it offers convenience, and lots of good food and coffee choices, making it a decent choice for travelers. However, basic rooms were unimpressive for even a 4 star hotel, and service blows warm and cold.
