Red Fort: Delhi's Timeless Grandeur 🇮🇳
Exploring the Red Fort in Delhi was a journey into India's storied past. This iconic fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, stands as a symbol of the nation's history and resilience.
As I entered through the Lahori Gate, the sheer magnitude of the fort's red sandstone walls and ornate architecture left me in awe. The intricate carvings, delicate inlay work, and the imposing Diwan-i-Am (Hall of Public Audience) showcased the Mughal dynasty's architectural prowess.
Strolling through the sprawling gardens and admiring the stunning Moti Masjid (Pearl Mosque) was a serene experience, offering a stark contrast to the fort's historical significance.
The Sound and Light Show in the evening brought history to life, narrating tales of emperors and their legacies. It was a captivating end to a day filled with cultural immersion.
Red Fort is a testament to India's resilience and grandeur, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking to delve into the rich tapestry of Delhi's past and India's heritage.

Value For Money Hotel in Delhi! 🇮🇳
#timetotravel
The interior of this hotel is really nice.. You could feel an Indian vibe right away because of the colourful decor of this place. They upgraded us to a room that has a balcony which was awesome. The AC worked well , the bed was big, I think it was a queen or a king bed. It is very soft as well. They provided basic necessities in the room which was great too. The rooftop restaurant serves great meals too with reasonable prices. Address: 2488-90 Nalwa Street Aram Bagh, New Delhi. Nearest Subwat Stop: Ramakrishna, Ashram Marg (Around 10 minute walk , depends on how fast or slow you walk. Enjoy your stay! #mytripvlog #tripblazers #hotelstay #hotel #india #delhi

Cycling around Delhi City
this trip was way back in May, 2015. India has always been on the list and we started at the city of Delhi. we went for city sightseeing on a bicycle for almost 5 hours. we stopped at magnificent landmarks around the city such as Shahi Jama Masjid by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1656 AD. It took 5 years with the help of 5000 people to build this magnificent & biggest mosque in Delhi. Then to LalQila or famous known as #redfort. Work begun in 1639 & completed 9 years later. Also to Shahi Jama Masjid by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1656 AD. It took 5 years with the help of 5000 people to build this magnificent & biggest mosque in Delhi. Lastly to the rooftop that overlooks #delhi. In front of me was the Fatehpuri Masjid; built in 1650 out of jealousy by one of Shah Jahan's wives. Well.. she was very upset that his husband dedicated the Taj Mahal to the 3rd wife; Mumtaz Mahal & decided to build one memorial for herself.
We also stopped by the market to buy spices. We had fun. India is full of people along the streets and sooo busy but we loves the colorful city

One must adorn fully covered clothes and a scarf/ duppatta on their head before entering the temple. Free langar ( food) is available at all times within the temple premises for the devotees to consume. #Delhi

Delhi Chaos
We had an amazing time exploring new and old Delhi. We stayed for 3 days and had a couple of tours from local guides who showed us the new and the old parts of the city. I would highly recommend a tour guide as they firstly have very good knowledge but also they can stop you being pestered by too many people for transport and other services. Also they can recommend the best and safest street food stands to eat at (due to obvious hygiene and health reasons).
I would definitely recommend a visit to India in general but certainly Delhi just to see the traffic in the city. I know that seems strange but the multiple modes of transport. E.g cars, bikes Tuk-tuks, motorbikes, mopeds, lorries etc and animals goats, horses, cows etc on the roads make it a very fascinating experience. #Delhi

Iconic War Memorial - India Gate Delhi 🇮🇳
A beautiful monument which reminds people the sacrifices of thr soldiers who laid their lives during the world war 1.
The monument itself stands in all its grandeur with a beautiful and well maintained surroundings.
The India Gate is located conveniently in central Delhi so you can see a lot of locals and tourists alike. Friends and families having picnic on the green grass. There are also little snacks and souviner shops around.
No need to pay to see India Gate.
The most convenient to reach India Gate is by taxi but we took the metro to this place. The nearest metro station is the Central Secretariat which falls on the Yellow Line. We just walked to India Gate (which is quite far - around 2 km) but you can take auto rickshaws to reach India Gate.
