Malaga|The best tapas with reasonable price
Bar La Tranca
⭐️ Overall rating:4.8/5
🍽 Recommendation: Green peppers, prawn skewer, meatballs
💁 Service: Good
💰 £10 per person
📍 Location: Bar La Tranca
The restaurant is quite popular in Malaga especially during the weekends! The vibe is good and the food price is reasonable!
Meatball is freshly made with tomato sauce. The fries and bread with the sauce taste good!
Green pepper is more than what I have in London and price is 1/3 of London restaurant. The crispy skin is tasty!
Prawn skewer is the brilliant choice as well and the seafood is so fresh in Malaga!
3 dishes and 1 coke for €11.9.
So cheap and so impressive!

Beautiful Spanish Beach!
Attraction name: Playa Laguna Beach
Location: Malaga, southern Spain
Malaga is one of the best beach destinations in Europe. Located a few hours by fast train from the capital city Madrid, Malaga is a beautiful city with great architecture.
The beach in the centre is long and relaxing. Enjoy taking photographs beside the Malaga sign and spend hours sunbathing beside the water.
If you enjoy swimming, this is a super place to do this with warm waters and shallow water.

Magical Malaga, the beauty of Spain 🇪🇸
Malaga, Andalusia Spain.
As a child I came here so many times with my parents and this city has always felt very special to me, it’s such a beautiful part of Spain and perfect for a weekend away.
The city centers on beautiful shopping streets lined with marble where little alley ways take you away to cafes, markets and churches. The cathedral is an imposing feature that towers above the smaller side streets around it, you can go in to take in the sheer scale of the building.
The central market is a buzz of activity with all the fresh produce you could need, the streets surrounding it are a network of cafes, restaurants and patisseries. The main shopping street contains all the big western brands you could need, as well as local craft shops and souvenir stands.
There are also lots of malls and a big El Corte Ingles within a 15 minute walk of the city center if you’re after more shopping.
The city has two main stations, one for high speed rail across Spain and one for the commuter rail towards Torremolinos. The commuter rail is very cheap and efficient and a good way to explore the little towns and cities along the coast.

The buildings of Malaga
Location: Malaga, southern Spain
Getting there: Fly from many European cities straight to Malaga. Alternatively you can get the train from Seville or Madrid in 3 hours.
Malaga is one of my favourite European cities. Here are the reasons:
*There are so many wonderful traditional and modern buildings to admire.
*The beaches are clean and good to swim
*Hotels are cheaper than other places
*Nearby cities such as Ronda and Cordoba are worth visiting.
*The bull ring viewed from above on a mountain is a stunning sight.

Sierra Mijas forest fire site
On the way to Mijas Pueblo from autovía A-7 you can go and see the summer 2022 forest fire site.
The forest fire itself was a tragic accident, a sad thing that highlighted the heat and dryness of the summer 2022. Anyway the fire fighters were very quick and efficient and managed to extinguish the fire amazingly quickly.
What’s left is the area where the nature is gaining the control again and it’s amazing. It shows to the visitor that a fire is not the end - it’s the beginning of a new life as well for the nature.
Somehow walking on those paths made me think how much I really value the untouched nature. The slight smell of smoke can still be sensed and the views are amazing where green, orange and black together form an amazing view to the nature.
I never hope anything like this to happen anymore but it’s a place to visit indeed.
You can access the site from the route A-368 quite exactly one kilometer before Mijas Pueblo. The road to the parking to Cartera Los Arenales can sometimes be closed but using that parking area is the most convenient way to access the site. You can also visit the cartera at the same time.

Cantera los Arenales
The Quarry of Los Arenales in Mijas is a spectacular place to see. It used to be a quarry years before but the transition to a site with outdoor usage value started around year 2000. There was more than 7000 trees planted at the site around 2007.
As a result the old industrial area was transformed to a place where people can go walking and do sports. Many hiking paths of Sierra Mijas start of end there at the parking area of the cantera.
There was a huge forest fire in summer 2022 just near the quarry and the surrounding forests were destroyed very largely. Luckily due to firefighters fighting the fire successfully and also the isolated nature of the quarry site, it remained mainly intact. But around the site it’s a different story.
Cantera los Arenales is a popular biking site. You can access the site from the road A-368 just about one kilometer before Mijas Pueblo. But the road to the site from costa del sol will be uphill so prepare yourself with drink and enough food.

Teatro Romano is the oldest monument in Málaga City; it is situated in the cultural heart of Málaga city, at the foot of the famous Alcazaba fortress. It is one of the only Ancient ruins left in Málaga after the outwardly Republican city was bombed by Nationalist sympathizers - the Italian army during the Civil war, and one of the only remaining Roman ruins in Andalucía after centuries of warfare, and construction. The site is accompanied by the Centro de Interpretación (visitors centre) which teaches visitors about the history of the ruins and its subsequent excavation.
Admission is free (but not advertised on outside as free). There is no disabled access to the site. Do wear comfortable shoes as there will be a lot of walking.
Getting There - There is a lot of buses and many train and subway stops nearby.
Attractions - A nice place to sit, people watch and immerse yourself in roman history
Hotels - Many hotels nearby to suit all budgets
Food & Restaurants - Many F&B outlets and restaurants to suit all budgets
Shopping - Souvenier, retail and luxury shopping available nearby.

Waiting for the flight in the lounge
Sala VIP T3 is the lounge available to access with most lounge cards in the international (non low cost) terminal at Malaga Costa del Sol Airport.
The lounge is open daily from 06:00 am until 23:00 pm and is accessible 4 hours prior the scheduled flight.
The lounge itself does not offer big surprises. The food selection is quite limited, especially during the morning hours until about 11 am (breakfast time). The area is big so even when quite crowded, the lounge doesn’t feel so full. But the queues to access food and drinks can be quite long as they are packed to quite small area.
However I like to stay in the lounge because it gives a solo traveler more safety to leave the bags and grab the food and drinks. As the staff announces all the boarding events it’s also hard to miss the flight if you keep your ears open.
The lounge is located just above the security check and duty free shop. After the security check you have the mandatory visit to duty free shop (annoying but more and more common). Then just use one of the available ways to access the second floor (for example go towards Burger King). The entrance to the lounge is just opposite to the Burger King restaurant.

Alcazaba fortress in the heart of Malaga
Alcazaba fortress was already built back in the early 11th century by Hammumid Dynasty during the times when Andalucia was under Arab control.
Inside the fortress, the visitor can experience breathtaking views from many places. The fortress itself and the sea seen from the hill (the fortress was built on a fairly steep hill) is just amazing.
The regionally important citrus trees are also present and the colorful fruits can be seen during the autumn.
As moving in the fortress area is quite hard due to the steep hill, selecting a fairly cool day to visit the place can be a good idea. There are some ticket packages available that grant access to all the historical buildings in the area. Seeing all of them needs one day or even more so don’t try to push yourself too hard.
I personally enjoyed that there is a new beautiful view waiting behind almost every corner. The different parts of the area are somewhat varying in terms of style and condition so it’s worth going everywhere. Some snacks and drinks can be bought inside the area but the availability of services is fairly limited. Remember to have your drinking water with you!
The fortress is situated in the heart of the old city of Malaga in Andalucia, Spain. it can be seen from the harbor and easily accessed from the shopping streets in the center. Actually the location is so central, that it’s fairly hard to miss the place.
I really recommend going to Malaga. The history can be seen and felt there so it’s among my favorite places in the south coast of Spain. It’s also worth mentioning that the queues are much shorter than in Granada.

I love travel expressly Europe with the fresh air and foods.
#tripaway
#malaga is the main and the busiest city in #andalucia Which is part of #spain and of the European Union. The city has the biggest airport in this area and serves the tourists all around. It features a long and wide main street which is nice for walking. Also there is an amazing fountains just over the biggest underground parking I've seen.
If you go to the coast of Andalucia probably you will have to pass through Malaga.
