Sanctuary of Truth Museum 🗺️
#songkran2024
During my spring vacation, I had the pleasure of visiting the Sanctuary of Truth Museum in Pattaya, Thailand, and it was an awe-inspiring experience! 🏛️ The entrance fee was reasonable, considering the grandeur and cultural significance of this magnificent wooden temple.
As soon as I entered the premises, I was mesmerized by the intricate wood carvings and the sheer size of the structure. Every inch of the sanctuary is adorned with elaborately carved sculptures depicting scenes from Thai mythology and Hindu-Buddhist beliefs. It's truly a masterpiece of craftsmanship and spirituality.
Exploring the museum felt like stepping back in time and immersing myself in Thailand's rich cultural heritage. The attention to detail in the carvings is simply astounding, and I spent hours marveling at the craftsmanship.
After visiting the Sanctuary of Truth Museum, I took some time to explore the surrounding area. Nearby attractions include the beautiful beaches of Pattaya, where you can relax and unwind after a day of cultural exploration. 🏖️ You can also visit the Pattaya Floating Market for a taste of traditional Thai cuisine and local crafts.
Overall, my visit to the Sanctuary of Truth Museum was a highlight of my trip to Pattaya. It's a must-visit destination for anyone interested in Thai culture and architecture! #SanctuaryOfTruth #Pattaya #ThaiCulture #WoodenTemple 🇹🇭

Road trip to Pattaya (from BKK)
We rented a car in Bangkok for a day and decided to go all the way to Pattaya for day trip
You can drive in thailand as long as you have your international driver license.
So started our day with a quick breakfast in BKK, we stopped by Jaekoy restaurant. Famous among the locals, it was recommended by my friend who resided in BKK and they’re famous for their somtum (papaya salad). Affordable price and good food💛
Then we drove for 2 hours to Pattaya beach
Next destination is Banlay Home cafe, a small gorgeous cafe with view of the sea. Price was slightly higher but the food and drink were good.
After that, we went to aesthetically pleasing beachfront restaurant called Glass house boho. Ordered their signature cocktails. Enjoyed their sunset. Every corner is very instagrammable
Finally, we had dinner at Krua rom mai thai , a local halal thai restaurant before we head back to Bangkok.
It was cheap and the food was delicious💛

Trendy beach-view restaurant in Pattaya
Location : Glass house boho, Pattaya
Amazing venue as it is located next to the beach. However, the music is quite loud and the price is quite expensive. We ended up ordering some drinks (beer and mocktails) while we enjoyed the sunset of the day. Then we moved to other restaurant for dinner.
Overall, it’s worth to try.
If you’re down for thai food with beach view, some fancy cocktails and looking for cute spot for your instagram feed, then this place is for you~

A Museum Made of Entirely Wood?
Located at Pattaya, the Sanctuary of Truth is an unfinished museum made of entirely wood, an ancient thai architecture way of construction. I consider this to be a gem of a structure especially in these modern times due to the choice & dedication to the use of wood. If the exterior detail amazes you, the interior is even more intricate. Inside the museum, wooden sculptures & carvings fill your vision. This is one tourist spot you should not skip, it's worth the travel from Bangkok if visiting only for a daytrip.
Before visiting, be mindful of your attire and the timings as the museum have a schedule. And also when doing a DIY bus commute, double check what type of bus you need to take. We had a bit of a mishap but we were lucky to reach at the last minute of entrance.

Fun & Relaxing Oasis in Pattaya
Our family went to this establishment at the end of December, and the outdoor weather is just perfect. The hotel provides complementary access to their Waterpark, Astro Club (Arcade & Board Games), Breakfast and Mini Bar. We got the Space Connecting room and it is quite spacious for my active kids to play and walk around in the room. The view from the balcony is amazing since it is facing the ocean and the waterpark. I recommend you to get a breakfast on their rooftop restaurant since from here you will get the best view.
I am not sure if this only applies to December period, but their waterpark and swimming pool have a very cold water and it could be unbearable for some people. Also, the waterpark is not that big, however it will be enough to satisfy kids below 10 years old. Other than that they have a very nice decoration and if you love taking pictures you will definitely get a good results here.

Koh Lan…. the Hidden Gem
I fell in love with the most unassuming place! If you have never ventured to to island of Koh Lon, I suggest you add it to your list of “really should see/visit” places. When I thought about Thailand beaches in the past, this island NEVER crossed my mind. And, if I’m being totally honest, I didn’t even know it existed. Thanks to my husband wanting to do a quick beach trip from the SE Asian country of Myanmar that we currently reside in, we came upon this wonderful place. It’s not as popular as Phuket among western foreigners but it’s just as beautiful. Dare I say even more beautiful because the beaches were not over crowded with people and hotels. This place is beautiful, it’s the perfect place to go to unwind and enjoy nature. The beaches were wonderful and the weather in December makes for perfect swimming water temps. It was really cool exploring this tiny island by motorbike, going from one end to the other in about 10 minutes. We will for sure be coming back here. BTW… The Room Koh Larn is a wonderful hotel to book while there. #freehotelstay #localguides #KoLarn #hiddengem #beaches #beachlife #Pattaya #ThailandBeaches

The Sanctuary of Truth is a unique and awe-inspiring museum located in Pattaya, Thailand. Unlike traditional museums, the Sanctuary of Truth is a wooden temple-like structure that stands as a testament to traditional Thai craftsmanship and philosophy.
The Sanctuary of Truth is a massive wooden structure, intricately carved and adorned with sculptures depicting various aspects of traditional Thai, Cambodian, Indian, and Chinese art and philosophy. The entire building is a work of art, with every inch covered in detailed carvings and sculptures.
The museum is not just an architectural marvel but also a representation of ancient philosophical and religious beliefs. It aims to convey the idea that all religions and philosophies ultimately converge, emphasizing the unity of human experience.

Koh Larn ,Thailand
This small island off Pattaya's coast is a great day trip spot for some beach fun. You can reach Koh Larn, or Coral Island, in just 40 minutes by ferry or speedboat from Bali Hai Pier. The crystalline beaches and warm, pristine waters are great for parasailing, jet skiing, banana boat rides and snorkeling. And for the best views on the island, locals recommend the Big Buddha Viewpoint. #thailand#pattaya #beachvacation
Santuary Of Truth!
We really wanted to go here because of the amazing structure and Miss Universe Philippines 2018 Catriona Gray walked inside this beautiful piece of art for the event. We were staying in Bangkok during our vacation here. We went to Mochit to take the bus going to Pattaya and when we arrived, we had to take another type of transportation to take us directly here. When we fianally arrived, I was in complete awe seeing the beautiful museum from afar and it was just near the beach so the view was perfect. There is a proper dress code going inside the museum for respect. The museum was really big and it amazed me how hard work the Thai people has put in to this piece of art.

27/08/23 Koh Lan Pattaya
A day trip in Koh Lan in Pattaya, Thailand. Very easy and cheap to get in the small island in Pattaya. Just take ferry at Bali Hai Pier for only 30 bath ($2.8 Aud) for 30-45 minutes. If you want to go to the different beaches around the island just rent motorcycle for 300 bath ($14.75 Aud) a day. The food are cheap and reasonable. There were a lot of Chinese, Indian and local Thai tourists around Tawean beach as people like to swim there. There are Songtell mini bus that can take you around the island which is very cheap. The water is crystal clear in Tien beach and there will be the geese come out at 2pm for you to take a photo with. What an amazing day trip in Koh lan island in pattaya! #kohlan #Teinbeach #Taweanbeach #pattaya

Pattaya Family-Friendly Beach Hotel
The hotel's location is fantastic with beautiful sunset view, convenient shopping, short walk to the beach, an ideal place for a short family vacation! A short drive from Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi Airport for a simple and sophisticated pleasures to relax and enjoy the weekend away.
One of the highlights of Grand Center Point Pattaya is its family-friendly atmosphere and exceptional service. Children and elderly (including wheelchair) friendly. The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived. With every interaction with staff, we were impressed by their warm and friendly gesture. The strength they pull through, the stories behind those smiles. Most have been with the hotel for nearly (many over) 10 years, went through difficult times since the outbreak of coronavirus and tourism went silent. Every interaction, also made this a meaningful stay.
The hotel is not brand new but cleanliness of all the facilities is great. The interior deco, blue color combination, lighting, smell and light relaxing music made it all so calm and soothing. Nice rooms, amenities - all rooms have amazing ocean views, balcony and starlight bedroom ceiling. Great breakfast buffet with a good mix of Thai and Western.
