All aboard to the Tokyo Metro Museum 🚂 🚊
If you’re interested in Japans amazing metro infrastructure this is a must visit for you, or if you’re travelling to Tokyo with kids they will love it.
it’s very cheap to get in around $2 but it’s a great way to spend a few hours, the museum is small and very dated but still crammed full of information.
It gives you a brief overview of the origins of underground metros then goes on to focus on the growth of Tokyo & Japan’s infamous metro networks.
They have two vintage carriage to see how the trains have evolved over time and lots of fascinating photos of metro networks through the decades.
Easily accessible as its right underneath Kasai metro station, only drawback is quite a lot of things are not translated into English or any other second language after Japanese.

The early bird catches a stunning sunrise
Alishan mountain railway is a must see if you’re heading to Taiwan, a fascinating glimpse into japans economic exploitation during the occupation.
Built over 100 years ago the mountain railway was used to support the logging and export of logs from this ancient forest. You can explore the forests on guided tours or take your chance and follow the paths.
There are some amazing towns and villages along the route with great food options, secluded temples and stunning views.
If you are an early starter you can take the first trains around 5:30AM to the top of the mountain to see the sunrise, an unforgettable moment.
Taking the train back down to the base station you wind around sheer drop cliffs and snake through huge valleys, definitely a memorable journey.
There is so much history in the train sets, tours and villages that you’re bound to leave knowing so much more about this magical place #alishan #taiwan #history #transport
Iconic HK attraction
The Star Ferry is a must ride if you're in HK. It used to be one the few options to cross the harbor before the cross harbor tunnels were built. It is still the cheapest way to get from HK to Kowloon and vice versa. It is much slower than the MTR or bus, but it's much more scenic and fun! So do try it out if you have time.
Along the way, you'll be treated with breathtaking views of the HK skyline. There is an open air section as well as an indoor air conditioned section. I recommend the outdoor section as the views are much better.
Use the Star Ferry for a traditional and historic HK experience that you won't regret!

Great vehicle to take you to travel in environmentally friendly way
If you want to enjoy the view along Hong Kong Island, especially between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, in an environmentally friendly way, the tram is a must vehicle to try!
The tram is one of the earliest forms of public transport, run since 1904 under British rule. As it is a double-decker tram using the electoral system with open windows and slow speed, you will have enough time to see Hong Kong Island and enjoy the breeze. On top of that, the tram has a super low price. You only need to spend HK$.2 per trip. What else are you waiting for?

Transport information about Cannes 🇫🇷
#celebratewithtrip #france #cannes #frenchriviera #transport
We travelled from Nice to Cannes by train. Trains are almost every half and hour and are very accessible. You can check times and prices here. Once you are in Cannes you will find that the train station is conveniently situated at the forefront of most touristic areas.
Although there is public transport in the form of buses mostly, we found that for exploring this city you can simply walk around. You also have options of using the pink electric bus, tourist train or hop on hop off bus.
They have this cute pink bus which is tiny and takes you around the city. We didn't feel we needed to use public transport but If you are not into walking or too much walking, then this might be a good choice 😉

Checkinaway (@checkinawayblog) Cycling To Work A Norm?
Singapore government has recently been promoting cycling despite for commute, leisure or exercise. Of course many still disagree with the cycling culture due to the limited space we have in singapore and the vast amount of cars.
Despite the challenges, the government still is trying their best in promoting a cycling culture where building of dedicated cycling lanes to create an awareness and also to ensure better safery for cyclist due to the many disagreements with drivers towards cyclists.
Now you can actually cycle to work even to changi airport where once you could only visit changi airport via MRT, Car and Bus. You can even park your bike in a dedicated locker and head to shower before heading to work! Well, this is a healthy life style isn't it, plus also the environmentally friendly commute it's both a plus point. With more graciousness from both parties I believe this might also be a possible daily transport and also you may be able to see more things on a bike rather than on a car.

🇹🇭 Travel by Tuk-tuk in Thailand
A tuk tuk is a three-wheeled or four-wheeled motorized vehicle commonly used for transportation in many Southeast Asian countries, including Thailand. It typically consists of a small cabin for passengers, powered by a motorcycle engine, and a driver's seat in the front. Tuk tuks are known for their compact size, maneuverability in traffic, and colorful decorations. They are a popular and iconic mode of transport for short trips within cities and towns. Traveling by tuk tuk in Thailand can be a thrilling and convenient experience. Do negotiate the fare beforehand as it is common for tuk tuk drivers to quote inflated prices to tourists.

Best Way up to Jungfraujoch @ Switzerland 🇨🇭
#winhkflight #couplestrip #travel #transport #awesomepic #winhkflight
To experience Jungfraujoch and return, start by taking the scenic train journey from either Interlaken Ost or Grindelwald to the Jungfraujoch station. Enjoy the breathtaking views along the way. Once at the top, explore the attractions like the Ice Palace and Sphinx Observatory. #switzerland #europe
For the return journey, you have a couple of options:
1️⃣ Return by Train:
Take the same route back down to Interlaken Ost or Grindelwald via the Jungfrau Railway.
2️⃣ Alternative Route:
For a different experience, you can descend from Jungfraujoch to Kleine Scheidegg by train and then continue your journey to Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen by train. From there, you can catch connecting trains to your destination or explore more of the beautiful Swiss Alps.
Whichever option you choose, ensure to check the train schedules in advance and consider booking tickets ahead of time, especially during peak seasons.
Last but not least, Dreaming of winning flight tickets to Hong Kong for our honeymoon adventure with my boyfriend. Here's to hoping for a chance to celebrate our love in the vibrant city! 🇭🇰✨ #winhkflight #couplestrip #europe #travel #winhkflight
Great museum with lots of exhibits.
Stepping into the London Transport Museum, I embarked on a captivating journey through the city's transportation evolution spanning two centuries. Amidst the historic artifacts and interactive exhibits, the museum unveiled the profound interconnection between London's development and its transport networks since 1800.
Engrossed in the displays, I traced the evolution of iconic red double-decker buses, intricate underground railways, and vintage tramways, each emblematic of London's urban fabric. The museum's narrative intricately wove together the growth of modern London with the cultural and societal shifts catalyzed by its transport systems. From horse-drawn carriages to the sleek, futuristic designs of contemporary transportation, the museum offered a vivid portrayal of London's dynamic past and its enduring link with its transport heritage.

Traveling taiwan by railway!
#thingstodo
Featured stations:
1. Chiang Kaishek memorial hall
2. Taipei main station
3. Hua lien station
4. Chiayi station
5. Taichung station
User rating: 10/10
Experience details: With many different modes of transport available in taiwan from the MRT (Taipei metro). THSR ( Taiwan high speed rail), and TRA (Taiwan railway administration) The public transport system can be quite confusing, we even waited for the train on the wrong platform and missed it completely! but the staff was extremely patient and helped us all the way through. The train stations also have lot to do from metro malls, to tasting all the different bentos available. Having a coffee on a cold day during a holiday commute just hits the spot. Checking out the specialty trains too, such cute designs

A Trip On The Iconic Hong Kong Tramways 🚃🇭🇰
No trip to Hong Kong is complete without checking out the world famous public transport, with the MTR, Star Ferry and Hong Kong Tramways. The tramways are a legacy of British colonial rule and have been operating since 1904, seeing a daily ridership of nearly 200,000 people. There is a single line runnning from Kennedy town through to Shau Kei Wan passing through the hubs of Central, Mid Levels and Admiralty.
The trams themselves are very narrow and are exclusively double decker, a very rare feat for a tram system. They shuttle people up and down the island and are a great way to see the Island side of the city. They are a lot slower than buses and taxies so you get a much better chance of seeing the various buildings and landmarks along the way.
You can pay with your octopus card and the fares are very cheap, they are fixed fares so it does not matter how far you travel - it’s only $3 HK for adults and $1.5 HK for children. You need to enter at the back and leave via the front, you will pay when you leave - you can also pay with cash but they need the exact fare most of the time so octopus cards are much easier!
There is seating on both floors but the top floor can be very popular, so if it is full - listen for people coming down the stairs to get off and then head up before they open the doors for new passengers! Works every time.

An Icon Of Hong Kong, The Star Ferry ⛴️
Hong Kong is a sprawling metropolis that is famous for it’s public transport and infrastructure, with one of the most efficient underground networks in the world. However one of the best journeys you can make is still the iconic Star Ferry across Victoria Harbour, not only is it a fantastic way to see the city it is also one of the cheapest! Even after a recent 50% increase in prices it is still only $5 HKD on weekdays and $6.5HKD on weekends and public holidays which is less that 1 USD or 1 Euro / Pound.
The best trip to take is from Central to Tsim Sha Tsui, this gives you the best view of the various landmarks on either side of the harbour. You will be able to see the vast skyline, the historical piers and if you’re lucky you will see some of the old Junk ships on harbour tours.
You can enter with your octopus card or buy tickets for each trip, I would strongly advise using the octopus as it’s a much faster way to enter the boat. The ticket lines can be very slow and troublesome with first time riders.
There are upper and lower decks on the boat, each with a designated entrance so look for signage in the terminals to make sure you get the floor you want! Both have good views, but I would advise the upper deck for the best photo opportunities. If you are not the biggest fan of boats or get motion sickness the bottom deck is better as it’s a lot more static than up top.
For me this is the best way to see the harbour and a nice change from constantly getting the metro between Kowloon and the island! At night you also get the added bonus of seeing the city light up and really come to life.

Safe and reliable airport transfer in Bali by i-Tours.
Booked airport transfer on Trips and received confirmation within 5mins. Driver and vehicle details are available immediately. The driver, Mr Ega was very polite and helped with the luggage as I was traveling with an infant. He shared valuable information about the surrounding area and possibly activities for considerations too!
Pleasant journey.😊👍

KERETA SEWA MURAH LANGKAWI A very nice ride with Cathay Pacific
Cathay Pacific is a nice option for flights to/from Hong Kong and beyond. Even in economy, a regional flight of a few hours will get you a meal with drink, which includes alcoholic beverages as well, as well as a full selection of entertainment. You even get a choice of meal and recently I quite enjoyed the local flavors offered.
They're newer planes feature very comfortable seats with plush seating and spacious legroom. Most of their planes also feature payable wifi if that's something you need as well. I would consider CX again if the price is right, as their schedule is quite ample and convenient. I do very much enjoy stepping onboard a CX flight, as it does remind me of HK! Opt for a window seat for great views!

Monaco travel info and tips
#celebratewithtrip #monaco #montecarlo #transport #traveling
We travelled from Nice to Monaco by train. Trains are almost every half and hour and are very accessible. You can check times and prices..
Word of advice, as you arrive at the train station find the lifts that take you down to the city as the main station is at Monaco’s highest point and unless you have a car you will have to walk all the way down. We obviously did the latter. Lesson learned.
Transportation in Monaco is fairly easy with public transport and you will mainly use buses. There is also a boat service connecting Monaco-Ville with Monte Carlo.
