Trip Moments Recommendations
Ako: This is the fun 'Salt Making Experience' in the land of salt, recommended.
You can learn about salt fields from a salt artisan, and it's an experience that adults can enjoy as well. A clay pot filled with seawater from the salt fields is prepared on the stove, and in 20 minutes of experience time, it transforms into snow powder-like salt. Photography was not allowed while the fire was lit. As it gradually became salt, cheers arose from each group. It is also recommended for educational purposes, but there is a condition that adults must accompany, so please be sure to check the official website. You can experience it for free when you enter the Marine Science Museum located in a corner of Ako Seaside Park.

Akashi Lunch Spot 'Ma': A Place for Delicious Seafood Bowls
When it comes to gourmet food you want to eat at Akashi Fish Market, seafood is the go-to choice. The 'Ma' Fish Market Poki Bowl (1,111 yen) is served with sesame oil flavored fish on top of white rice, and you eat it as is without adding anything. It actually looks more voluminous in person than in the photos, and the fresh and plump marinated fish bowl was truly delicious. If you want to eat tasty fish in Akashi, this is recommended.

Ono City: The Abacus Town of Banshu Ono
The Banshu abacus is a traditional craft designated by the country. It is said that some students play the abacus under the giant monument with combinations like 'goukaku' (success in exams) 5・9 or 'sakura saku' (cherry blossoms bloom, indicating success in exams) 3・9・0・3・9. Depending on the play on words, there are also combinations like 'shoubu' (match or contest) 4・0・2 or 'tousen' (lottery win) 10・1000, so it might be interesting to learn these phrases from the official website when visiting Ono. Next to the Ono Chamber of Commerce and Industry, there is the Ono City Traditional Industry Hall where you can enjoy the Abacus Museum for free, which is also recommended.

Exquisite Ako-style 'uchiiri' soba with a generous serving of Ako green onions.
The 'uchiiri' soba served in a tea house that feels like a time slip to the past is highly recommended. I thoroughly enjoyed the soba in a sweet broth with a generous serving of crisp Ako green onions (free of charge). Overlooking the garden, Ako Castle can be seen, and one feels like a townspeople of the Edo period. It's a recommended dining spot where you can relax while feeling the history of Ako.

Fukufuku Homemade Bread in Inami Town - A Haven for Bread and Breakfast Lovers!
The bread here is simply delicious. The bagels have a tasty dough that is simply delightful, and the focaccia's balance with the salad filling is amazing. I was moved by how delicious the bread was. Even people with license plates from other prefectures come by car. There are only three seats for eat-in (breakfast), so reservations are recommended. The road is narrow despite the short distance, so be careful when driving. It was a bakery that made me happy just by eating.
