MELAKA RIVER CRUISE
Melaka River is strewn with history dating back to the grandiose days of the influential and powerful empire of the 'Melaka Malay Sultanate' which led to merchant world-over to come to trade and commerce and which incredibly led Portuguese historian Tomes Pires to name the state as 'Venice Of The East'.
However, today Melaka River to large extent serves only as rich reminder of its glorious and bountiful past and of its present development. And what better way to find out than to take a river boat cruise in order to trace its history and check out the quaint and scenic beauty.

The First Revolving 'Gyro Tower' in Malaysia
Menara Taming Sari is the first revolving 'Gyro Tower' in Malaysia which is 80 meters high, you can see the majority of interesting places nearby such as the Samudera Museum, Dataran Pahlawan, St Paul's Church, Melaka Island and so on. The most interesting time to try this activity is in the evening because you have the opportunity to see the panoramic beauty of the sunset.
The duration of the ride up is not too long, around 7-8 minutes only and during that period, you will rotate 360 degrees 2-3 times. Even if it's for a moment, but this kind of experience is very valuable. Don't worry, the rotation of this deck is very slow and you won't feel dizzy.

Street 3d Art Malacca ✨
If you like an Instagramable place, this is the place. Another photo spot for you in Melaka, vibrant color paintings and great for photographs. This place is great for take a photos, there are plants in the middle of the road that make the photo spot even more unique. At the end of the place we can find the Melaka river and it is also nearby with other attraction. 👣
I love street art and murals, Melaka has some of the best collections l've seen for some time. Some of the large murals along the river walk are simply amazing. There's also plenty in random streets around the historic centre. Just love the murals that make use of building structures to create scenes of everyday. One of the best things to see in Melaka. ☺️✨

Visiting the varied history of Malacca!
We went to Malacca by car for some 2 days trip and history visiting. This is my first time to be there.
Malacca reminded me to Singapore and also Penang. Love to be there as I can reminisce back the great history of Malacca, Hang Jebat, Hang Tuah, trading during that time, Portuguese etc.
There are also multiple races other than Malay and Chinese, which is Peranakan, Nonya. I love the 'baju Nonya - which is baju kebaya, the traditional one.
Visited Taming Sari Tower, Sultanate Palace, Stadthuys, Cheng Ho cultural museum, St. Paul's Church and many more.
Wonderful trip!

A Sweet Discovery in Melaka
Nestled beside the enchanting Melaka Swan Garden Resident, our serendipitous encounter with Bon Bonne Pastry Lab was a delightful journey into the realm of French pastries. Each confection on display resembled a masterpiece, elevating the artistry of sweet treats.
The proprietor's passion for pastries was beyond description. Eager to share the intricacies of their craft, they emphasized the use of premium ingredients, highlighting that only the finest materials could yield exceptional desserts.
After savoring a slice at the storefront, we couldn't resist bringing some back to KL. The owner's thoughtfulness extended to detailed instructions on preserving the pastries, advising us on optimal consumption times for peak flavor. The communication between us mirrored the camaraderie of old friends.
The interior décor, a fusion of my preferred styles, created a welcoming ambiance within the glass-filled establishment. Surprisingly cool even during midday, it proved to be an ideal spot for leisurely teatime. The next time we visit Melaka, a return to Bon Bonne Pastry Lab is undoubtedly on the itinerary.
In conclusion, this hidden gem not only tantalized our taste buds but also provided a sanctuary for indulging in the finer aspects of life. For fellow travelers, Bon Bonne Pastry Lab stands as a must-visit destination, offering a symphony of flavors and a respite for the soul.

"Baba House Melaka: A Timeless Journey into Peranakan Splendor"
Hiyaaaa, I recently had the pleasure of staying at Baba House in Malacca, and I must say that the design is a stunning fusion of Chinese, Malay and European influences. The rooms are beautiful representation of the Peranakan Culture, and the museum provides an enlightening glimpse into their daily lives.
However, I noticed stainsssss on the pillow case/ bed sheets and hand towels during my stay in my room. We notified housekeeping about the issues and they promptly came to make the necessary change. This is unfortunately not a new issue as I’ve encountered similar experience in other hotels in Malaysia (even a 5 star hotel). I hope that the hospitality industry will prioritise cleanliness to ensure that guest have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Despite this, I still enjoyed stay at Baba House overall.
