Old Mansion of The South
This is one of the hotspot tourist attraction as you visit Satun province at the south of Thailand.
Kuden Mansion was built by Phraya Phuminatphakdi or Tunku Baharudin Bin Tammangong. In the past, this building was built as a residence of King Rama V. With the Colonial European-style architecture. The building was used as a city hall, though nowadays it serves as a museum housing antiques and artifacts and exhibiting the local art and culture. Recommended as the food was really Thai style
Papaya Mom Restaurant in Pak Bara Beach
Best food by far! I don’t understand why the rating is only at 4,1 (at the time of writing). I went there yesterday and then today again. I had the stir fried cashew chicken, the red thai curry seabass and the chicken larb salad! Every dish was just so tasty! The prices are great. The service is good. Not everyone speaks English but they do have staff that speak perfectly fine and they will come and help you out if their colleague doesn’t understand what you want. Also don’t get irritated if you’re waiting for someone to come around. The place is busy, so just raise your hand and ask for service. The food doesn’t take too long to be served! I highly recommend this place. I will go there tomorrow again

Dining with surrounding of nature.
The cafe is inside orange farm.
Fried rice is good. Chicken nugget and rolls are also good. The drinks are good as well.
Suprisingly, the price are on the lower side considering the place and environment.
They renovating the place to add more attractions.
Nice view but those who are very hungry and looking for good thai food it is not recommended. Its more on western food n sets of fried rice. You can enjoy the view in lime orchard and rubber tree and you can eat eat by the blue-green lake.

Papaya Mom Restaurant, Pak Bara Beach, Satun.
Been here 3 times. Food is good and reasonably priced. We always ordered fried sea bass with tamarind sauce. Tom Yum soup. Papaya salad. Coconut shoot salad. And of course, coconut juice And ice cream. All good. May need to go back for the 4th time. Dinner is busier with more grilled food. Recommended!

Grand Mosque of Satun, South Thailand
Located on the corner of Buriwanich Road and satun Thani Road in the centre of the City. It is a place for religious ceremonies built in the reign of Phraya Samantarat Burin (Tunku Muhammad Akem), Governor of Satun (around 1996). The name “Mambang” was named after the city of Satun in those days.
Later, in 1974, a Mosque was built that had a modern architectural shape. The white building is decorated with glazed marble tiles and clear glass. The building is divided into two parts. The exterior is a balcony, and there is a staircase leading up to the dome-shaped tower, where it is possible to see a view of satun City. The interior is a large hall used as a place of prayer. The ground floor has a basement which His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great officially opened on 20 September 1982.
