Saigon-The pearl of the far east
My 1-day trip to Saigon was a fantastic experience, and one of the highlights was visiting the Saigon Post Office. The post office is a beautiful colonial building that showcases the city's rich history and architectural beauty.
Upon entering the post office, I was immediately struck by its grandeur and old-world charm. The interior is adorned with elegant French-inspired designs, from the high ceilings with ornate chandeliers to the intricate mosaic floor.
One of the main attractions of the Saigon Post Office is the stunning central hall, which houses numerous counters for sending and receiving mail. The atmosphere was bustling with activity as locals and tourists alike went about their postal needs. It was fascinating to witness the efficiency and organized operation of this historic post office.
I also had the opportunity to explore the many small shops within the post office, where I found a variety of unique souvenirs, stamps, and postcards to bring back home. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing me with recommendations and information about the post office's history.
Overall, my 1-day trip to Saigon and the Saigon Post Office was a delightful experience. I highly recommend visiting this iconic landmark for its architectural beauty, historical significance, and the chance to capture a glimpse of Saigon's vibrant atmosphere. Inggat! ❤️👋#Saigon #Vietnam #Southest Asia #Young #solotravel
🔆 Monkey Beach 🐒🏝ll Penang 🔆
📍 Monkey Beach🐒🏝 Penang, is located in Penang National Park in the north-west corner of Penang Island.
So-called because of the Crab-eating Macaque's that live around here, the beach is one of the nicest beaches in Penang Island, with a long stretch of white sandy beach that is good for swimming.
📍There is no road access to the beach 🏝so you either have to charter a boat 🛥 from the entrance to the National Park at Teluk Bahang, which will cost you or you can walk along the coastline through the National Park🌳.
📍My friend and I walked/ hiked because we wanted the full experience; we had a great time enjoying nature on the way🌳🪵 . You have to be careful as there are tangles of roots from time to time that will make the trail surface uneven!
You’ll likely come across some wildlife like monitor lizards 🦎, monkeys 🐒 and birds 🦅 during your hike . Keep your distance even if you are tempted to approach them.
📍Once you arrive, you need to take care of your stuff since there is a lot of monkeys 🙉 which grab your food 🍗🍟🍔🍕🧃🥤and run ,lol 😂.
Monkey beach 🐒🏝definitely is the famous beach you want to visit in Penang National Park🌳.

SIEM REAP TEMPLES 🇰🇭
📍Temples in Siem Reap attract millions of visitors each year, especially those in the expansive Angkor Archaeological Park. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1992, there are approximately 50 Buddhist and Hindu temples dating back to the 12th century within its grounds. While most of the structures have collapsed and been covered in greenery, history buffs will delight in the many well-preserved stone carvings as they provide a glimpse of the once-prosperous Khmer empire.
📌 During my trip i visited the temples of Siem Reap, Cambodia, touring Angkor Wat, the faces of Bayon, amazing Ta Phrom, Banteay Srei, and so many more. The first temple I toured was Angkor Wat which I arrived early morning to catch the sunrise 😍 . They were monkeys lingering around and tourists were feeding them. By the afternoon I was so exhausted because most of the temples have so many sections that i couldn’t finish the rest .it was also very humid so drink plenty water when touring . Overall, it was great to see!

BELIEVE THE HYPE: LITTLE INDIA & ARAB STREET
📍Even if you are in Singapore, the ambiance here in Arab Street and Little India is one of a kind. From the vendors selling to the aroma of food all over, it feels like you are really in India. In Singapore, they have this place where you can shop and stroll at the same time.
📍Little India maintains its one-of-a-kind character since the streets here flaunt a dazzling array of authentic shops. Here, you can easily locate emporiums, spice markets, magnificent sari boutiques, commercial establishments, and modern shopping malls. Not to mention, the food also tastes great here and you can experience how the people eat just like in India. Little India is also famous for being a colorful street .
📍Arab Street is the center of the Islam community. Surrounding these areas are where the Malay ethnicity reside, mostly Muslims. Many shops are influenced by the Muslim culture and tradition. They sell prayer rugs, articles, antiques, jilbab, Muslim caps and others. A total memorabilia package!
There are great structures including buildings and establishments found in the Street. The Sultan Mosque, appearing with its unique architecture and its famous golden dome, is also found here.

COLOURS ❤️🧡💛💚💙🤎🤍💖💜 || BATU CAVES
📌Batu Caves, one of Kuala Lumpur’s most frequented tourist attractions, is a limestone hill comprising three major caves and a number of smaller ones. Located approximately 11 kilometres to the north of Kuala Lumpur, this 100-year-old temple features idols and statues erected inside the main caves and around it. Incorporated with interior limestone formations said to be around 400 million years old, the temple is considered an important religious landmark by Hindus; to enter the caves you must be covered .
📌The Stairs Are Exceptionally Colorful And Steep ❤️🧡💛💚💙🤎💜🤍💖 .In addition to their tremendous height, the stairs are now known for their riotous rainbow of different hues, making Batu Caves one of the most colorful tourist destinations in the world.
At the end I was tired but it was worth the climb 😍.

88 HOTSPRING 🥵 💦👙
📣 The resort has a number of warm pools to choose from, it has a nice garden and Mountain View. I paid for a day pass which I had access to a changing room and most of the pools ;maybe two pools where not accessible but it was still a good deal . I bought food from a convenient store outside because the food inside the resort was abit expensive .
📣 For travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Laguna, 88 Hotspring Resort is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely recommend because at 88 Hotspring Resort, every effort is made to make guests feel comfortable whether it’s just for a day or a staycation.

📣SKY PARK || OBSERVATION DECK 📣
📍Located 57 storeys up from the heart of the Marina Bay area, the SkyPark Observation Deck boasts scenic views of the panoramic vistas of Marina Bay and Singapore’s world-class cityscape.
It houses a ticketed observation deck, lush gardens, top-notch restaurants and an exclusive, infinity-edge swimming pool with a legendary view .
However, only hotel guests can swim in the pool and enter the SkyPark free of charge. Visitors not staying at the hotel can buy tickets to the Sands SkyPark Observation Deck, which offers you unobstructed 360-degree views of the Singapore skyline. I purchased a ticket and “Oh My “ the view was remarkable . It was a taste of high life from above !
I also did a boat ride to the city during the day and at night which was also a good experience.

MARINA BAY SANDS || GARDENS BY THE BAY
📍Gardens by the Bay is a huge, colorful, futuristic park in the bay area of Singapore. Among the standout features are the famous Supertree structures. These offer an impressive skywalk over the gardens, with oversized seashell-shaped greenhouses that recreate chilly mountain climates. Gardens by the Bay is a sanctuary for nature lovers and budding horticulturalists alike.
Oddly, the locals don’t tend to visit Gardens by the Bay so much, making it one of the best things to do in Singapore as it is one of the less crowded places.
It’s the perfect way to get away from the shopping malls of Singapore and while away a few hours exploring something entirely unique. You won’t find anything like this anywhere else in the world.
If you stick it out until the night, you’ll get to see the Supertree Grove light up to classical music. It was an amazing experience 🤩!

FLOATING VILLAGE || EXPLORE CAMBODIA 🇰🇭
📍Everyone heads to Cambodia to see the temples, and most opt to see a floating village of Siem Reap. Visiting a floating village is recommended by all tuk-tuk drivers, hotels, and travel agents. It’s marketed as an opportunity to experience the cultural life of those living off the lake.
📍Best Time to Visit the Floating Villages of Siem Reap. The rainy season is June through October. The time of year when entire communities are “floating,” so many consider this the best time to visit.During the dry season, the home’s stilts are exposed, and you can see the houses’ sheer height.
📍During my visit to Cambodia during summer of 2018 in August ; my friends and I visited the floating village Kampong Phluk . We arranged the trip through a tour agency which was reliable. Upon the visit the tour guide stated the water was 4 meters high and by the next 3 months it will be 10 meters . The floating village was an eye opening moment where I saw life from a different perspective in-terms of how different people live from day to day . I’m truly grateful 🥲 for these experiences.❤️🤍❤️🤍

CHASING WATERFALLS 💦💦 || CAMBODIA 🇰🇭
📍The mountains of the Phnom Kulen National Park to the north of the city are the source for some of the waterways which wind around the temples and town on the plains.
📍I visited Phnom Kulen Waterfall which is naturally the most popular waterfall in Phnom Kulen, with the height and the rocky bottom of the falls creating a misty water spray at the edge of the cool plunge pool. The gorge the falls have created is nicely enclosed, giving the sense of being separated from the world in a beautiful little cove. Only about an hour’s drive from Siem Reap the waterfalls in the area are well worth a visit. What a nice half day visit to this waterfall. It is beautiful and certainly a site to see. I got some fantastic photos here. The locals take photos and are printed in the area , I believe they overpriced because we are tourists ,lol . The waterfall It's not incredibly deep I could stand in the water. We had a lovely guide who held our stuff whilst we went in for a swim .
📍There is a lot of walking, especially steep walking so wear comfortable shoes and bring your own drink. You will get super wet, goes without saying.Their pristine settings and fresh, cool water.
📍It was a great escape from Siem Reap. I had a really good time, the tour guide was knowledgeable about both the mountain and Cambodia’s history. I highly recommend !

📍Located at 300 meters above ground level, Sky Deck is the main tourist attraction at Kuala Lumpur Tower. Take in the breathtaking views from the open KL Tower Sky Deck.
📍The only way to take in KL from a bird's eye perspective. The Sky Box added a sense of excitement but not for those apprehensive about heights! The Observation deck open air level is the best place for fantastic photos.

🔆 OCEAN PARK 🌊 || MANILA 🔆
📍 Manila Ocean Park is an oceanarium located in Manila, Philippines that is also part of a resort. There are many exhibits that you can visit here as well as a wide variety of marine life. You will be able to see manta rays, penguins, and sea lions!
The Manila Ocean Park also offers other exciting experiences depending on what catches your interest, you can purchase a ticket that covers only a certain exhibit or you can get an all-inclusive pass for better value. Take pampering to a whole new level at the Fish Spa. Have a relaxing moment as doctor fishes nibble dead skin cells from your tired feet, leaving you with rejuvenated skin and a refreshing feeling the natural way. All you have to do is sit back and have fun with these therapeutic fishes as they feast on your toes. This was my first time to experience this and it tickled in the beginning then I got comfortable and started to enjoy 😊.
