What is better is better than afternoon tea at one of the bunds most beautiful restaurants? It’s is one of my top favorites of visiting Shanghai. We have much less of that in Beijing.
We came one Friday to Pop and had an amazing afternoon. Good food, good drinks and good friends. The amazing selection they served for their afternoon tea was superb and the view was fantastic. This is an absolute good place to start your rooftop adventure in Shanghai. The stunning view of the Bund always keep amaze me although I’ve travelled to the city about 30 times.

A Get-together at The Alkaff Mansion
Surrounded by lush greenery of Telok Blangah Hill, the Alkaff Mansion houses a variety of restaurants for different types of dining with the building being in European style architecture. One of the restaurants it houses is the Wildseed Café. Wildseed Café offers brunch and café food. The café is pet-friendly and has a pretty outdoor conservatory. We were there for an afternoon tea session on a hot Saturday afternoon so even though we were seated indoors and not at the conservatory, we were still okay with our seats. The interiors are also consistent with the building’s architectural style so it’s just as nice inside. Aside from the afternoon tea tiered set, there were also other food you can order, unlike other cafes or restaurants where only the afternoon tea set is available. The set was just okay but affordable. After eating, we went around the vicinity of the mansion and took pictures as there are lots of picture-taking spots. Outside the mansion, we walked around the hill as the ambiance was very relaxing and peaceful. There were people doing their runs, people walking their dogs, and families lounging around, too.

#wheretogo to experience quite and nice place to work at. Club lounge Double Tree Hilton Surabaya is super quite. Checked in 2pm, there are some snacks and drinks for you and whole place belong to you. The staffs also remember your name.
Afternoon tea is available from 3 to 5 pm with limited small bites, coffee and tea. Don't expect much as it's super mini and not so flavorful. After all, its free of charge, come as benefit from the executive room.

I’ve wanted to dine at ATLAS ever since I seen pictures of the restaurant! I finally got a chance to experience their afternoon tea the other day and safe to say that I was not disappointed!
The afternoon tea set is priced at $64++ per pax and has a lovely variety of European style selection of sweets and savory items. Each set is complemented with a tea selection of-course and either an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink of your choice.
Please note that getting reservations is quite hard so book in advance! The afternoon tea is offered Tuesday - Saturday at 3 & 4 pm.

🇱🇰 The best High Tea @ The Grand Hotel Nuwara Eliya
The Grand Hotel Nuwara Eliya is one of the historic hotels in Sri Lanka established in 1891. Its predecessor was originally a holiday home built in 1828 by Sir Edward Barn, the fifth governor of Ceylon. The hotel was since visited by many notable people including Queen Elizabeth.
There are 10 restaurants in the Grand Hotel. We had a lovely afternoon tea at the Grand Tea Lounge facing the beautiful patio in front of the hotel. The tea lounge serves the best Ceylon teas, together with a delightful array of cakes, scones and savories. Diners can order high tea sets and also ala carte western cuisines. The prices of the high tea sets are a bit steep (minimum 5000 Lkr for a set) but it's definitely worthwhile paying for the ambience and the quality of food.

Was doing my night jog and the big bird cage veranda attracted my attention. Ok, will come to check it out after my jog if it is still open. Hey! It’s still open and I found out that we can visit them anytime, 24/7!
Got my folks to quickly come over for a supper. We ordered the Chicken Burger ($18.90), Crabmeat Linguine ($19.90) and Alio Glio ($13.90). Tasty and hearty supper. Love the experience.
Will be bringing my friends and colleagues over to check them out further. Meanwhile I’ll be back for breakfast on my next trip.

SIMPLEburger Inc has another outlet at National Aerated Water Building where it has been gazetted to be partially conserved to preserve some of the history in Kallang.
So the environment is really unique, compared to their other outlets in Suntec and JEM. Nostalgic. Historical.
The concept is SIMPLE. Create your own burger. A wide range of patties. Then add your favourite topping like cheese, bacon or fried egg. Many many vegetable garnishes to choose from too. Pair it with your favourite drink or a beer and voila! A hearty meal! 🍔

How to Get There: Take Didi to Starbucks 1912; Nuova Sensa is the restaurant across the street.
a wonderful menu at a very unusual restaurant that is also reasonably priced. The chicken poppers, fries, and chicken patas are all must-tries. My girlfriends and I also enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea of ginger lemon tea, which cost 30 rmb and had a wonderful, soothing flavor. They have a variety of wines and other beverages, so we will definitely return to try those.

Afternoon Tea with Beautiful View
The grass mountain chateau is a restaurant in Taipei with a beautiful valley view near Yangmingshan. The building was built by Japanese and later used as a temporary presidential residence of Chiang Kai Sek, that's why the architecture looks very historical.
The restaurant is spacious and cozy, you can relax while enjoying your afternoon tea with amazing view. The food is absolutely delicious, with great service from the waiters/waitresses.

Afternoon Tea at Cloud 23 Manchester
Highly recommend a trip to Cloud 23 in Manchester UK. We booked the Wellbeing Afternoon Tea on New Years Day and it was a great experience!
Before going up to the restaurant we enjoyed 2 hours in the Hilton’s leisure facilities. The pool was great, perfect size for a good swim and not too deep. There was a good size jacuzzi too plus a sauna and steam room. The changing rooms were very basic and a little small but did the job. Towels, robes and slippers were included in our experience.
After our spa visit, we made our way up in the dedicated elevator to the 23rd floor. As we stepped out the views were amazing! The staff showed us straight to our table and get us some drinks. Included in the package was unlimited tea/coffee or hot chocolate (and there was a great selection) a cocktail (again a great selection of both alcoholic and nonalcoholic options) and a beautiful selection of food, beautifully presented.
The staff were so helpful throughout and the food was faultless! The experience cost us £45 each which was great value, especially as one cocktail alone in the restaurant is normal £17!
Would highly recommend this little treat!

Coffee on a Clift!
This café and restaurant was a hidden gem for me during my visit to Phuket, is just by a Clift near the Karon beach and is better to go there driving or by scooter 🛵
The place has a massive selection of areas in where to sit, from near the top, to almost the sea level, so some stairs might be need to use to explore it all.
Service is good and fast, the Korean rice was delicious and of course a cold latte for thst summer day ☀

Phuket is popular among many tourists and most of the restaurant, beach and cafes here are filled with many foreigners. If you are looking for a place where only locals go to, I can recommend you a cafe called good for rest, where one of my colleague whose a local here brought us to this cosy little cafe for an afternoon tea.
Good for rest located away from the maintown is located at 189, 2 4027, Pa Klok, Thalang District, Phuket 83110 which is a 30mins drive up north of phuket Town. This place has good reviews to begin with, with 4.6 stars on Google reviews, this js a definitely must go isn't it??
Thus is of course opened by a local, where they too serve mains, but we were too full so we ordered their popular mandarin orange cake and of course a good cuppa of coffee.

Relaxing and chilling place with beach vibe located at Pantai Indah Kapuk, Jakarta. Santhai serve thailand food, because my friend is craving for somtam, we went here for lunch.
Everything that we ordered are not nice except for the papaya salad. Tomyam taste like laksa while the green mango taste like lime juice. It's a disaster.
You should just come here for the vibe. Foodwise is not that recommended, better go elsewhere. Definitely not an authentic thai food.

The Venetian in Macau in a whole different world inside the city, from indoor canals, boats, shopping malls, casinos, restaurants, food courts, to be honest for me was easy to get lost in between the masiveness of the place.
