🇸🇬 A Day at Sentosa Beach, Singapore 🏖️🏖️
#beachlife
Sentosa Island is a popular destination for both locals and tourists seeking a delightful blend of activities and relaxation. It is a perfect spot whether you are a tourist or a local who just want to chill on weekends. 🧘♀️
🚗How to go:
Enter Sentosa Island through the Sentosa Express which departs from Vivocity. I alighted at Imbiah Station and get to the cable car point. The adventure to Sentosa Beach starts with a scenic cable car ride, offering stunning aerial views of Singapore's skyline and the lush greenery of Sentosa Island. 🍃The expansive views of the water and the city provide a perfect backdrop for some breathtaking photos.
🌅 Sunset Watching at Tanjong Beach
Once on the island, a must-do activity is watching the sunset at Tanjong Beach, known for its more tranquil, laid-back vibe compared to the island’s other beaches.
🍗Picnic at the beach
This quieter stretch of sand is ideal for laying out a picnic blanket and unwinding as the sun dips below the horizon. The calm waters and the soft, white sands make Tanjong Beach a perfect spot for evening picnics. 🍷 I took away some food from VivoCity and had a great time picnic while watching the sunset. 💫
Other than Tanjong Beach, there is Siloso Beach and Palawan Beach at Sentosa which is equally nice. Sentosa Beach is the quintessential spot for anyone looking to combine adventure with relaxation, making it an unforgettable part of any Singapore visit.

Merlion, Marina Bay
One of the greatest experiences of my life was working in Singapore for a year. Amongst the many landmarks that I frequently visited was the iconic Merlion, the mythical creature that is also Singapore’s national mascot. You can reach the Merlion from the Raffles Place MRT station and also take a scenic walk around Marina Bay and get some great views of Marina Bay Sands. Sunrise and night views are also fantastic here.

SG Gardens by the Bay
I first saw Gardens by the Bay in the movie Crazy Rich Asians, but seeing it up close in person blew my mind. It feels futuristic and out if this world. I usually take the MRT to Bayfront station and walk to the gardens (no admission fee). Make sure to see it after dark with the lights on, it’s a whole different experience. There are frequently special exhibits during festivals and holidays. There’s also a Shake Shack and various other food options in the Gardens.

Singapore Flyer: City Lights Beneath the Starry Sky
As darkness descended and the city lit up, I found myself high above in the Singapore Flyer, in awe of the dazzling panorama unfolding below. The iconic Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, and the pulsating Central Business District formed a vibrant tapestry of city lights twinkling like stars descended upon the earth.
The night sky melded into the urban cityscape, the constellations mimicking the city lights, creating an enchanting fusion of nature's majesty and mankind's ingenuity. The Singapore Flyer, with its gentle ascent and descent, provided a tranquil vantage point to drink in this spectacle, cocooning me in a sphere of silent admiration amidst the city's ceaseless buzz.
The sparkling cityscape was a testament to Singapore’s journey, its spirit resonating in each twinkling light. A night ride on the Singapore Flyer wasn't just about spectacular views; it was an intimate rendezvous with the city’s vibrant soul.

Although I
loved our 3 nights in Singapore, I found myself missing the naturally occurring beauty found in the landscape of other parts of South East Asia. Everything that we visited in Singapore seems to be man-made and specifically curated for tourism (which is amazing, to an extent).
There are sooo many aspects of home (the UK) to be found here in Singapore - a special mention to Singapore Nandos (which will be dearly missed) & to the Cadbury boost bars that we found in 7 eleven.
I’m sure there is so much of Singapore that we didn’t see and experience in the short time that we had here, but I absolutely adored it!!

Must visit locations in Singapore - PART 1
🏙️ The Promontory Marina Bay - the photo with the DREAM sign was around The Promontory. The photo is from 2019, but I believe it is still up and you can find it along your walk around the bay. It’s a beautiful place to walk around any time of day. It’s really beautiful in the evenings as all the lights come on.
⛲️ Jewel Changi Airport - if you have a longer stay in Singapore but not long enough to explore the city. Consider leaving the airport to go and visit the Jewel at Changi which is located in the middle of all terminals, but the way to get in is through Terminal 1.
🌳 Gardens by the Bay - it’s not a visit to Singapore if you don’t go for a walk around Gardens by the Bay. Visiting the gardens is free unless you want to do the skywalk, Cloud Forest and Flower Dome. If you haven’t done them before and have time, I recommend taking the time to do them. Especially the Cloud Forest!

Best travel place, “Garden by the bay”
#2023travelwish
One of the main reasons to come to Singapore, Garden by the bay is one of the places you must see in your life. It fascinates people with its beauty and gives the feeling of living in a realm of dreams. For this reason, it received the tourism award.
There is a 35-meter-long indoor waterfall (Cloud Forest) and it makes you feel like you are walking in a tropical forest while climbing here.
World-renowned super trees are truly one of the best examples of the combination of technology and nature. While walking through these trees, you can enjoy the beautiful view to the fullest.
You should definitely experience this place full of beauties, which is endless. You will not regret!

Spectacular city-state country

Singapore is one of the few city-states in the world. Although it is a small country, it is a country that draws attention with its rising skyscrapers and advanced technology.
The attracts tourists from all over the world. When you first enter the country by air, the world's most beautiful airport will attract your attention.
Sentosa island is one of the most visited touristic places. You can enter the island for free with the sky metro, and you can do fun activities.

Asian Cultural Park (Haw Par Villa)
#sginsider
The history of China, one of the oldest cultures in the world, stretches back thousands of years and is full of stories. Visitors to Haw Par Villa, a treasury of legendary narratives, can learn about Chinese tradition and religious beliefs.
This place was not as crowded as other attractions in Singapore and also the entrance was free. Moreover, there is a Hell Museum here and admission was fee-based. We didn't want to visit, maybe I were a little scared. But those who are interested can also visit here.

Unique Beach in Sentosa Island (Palawan)
#sginsider
The Palawan beach is located in sentosa island. For some wholesome fun with the family, hop on the beach tram at Beach Station and head down to Palawan Beach.
This is where the rope bridge connects to the supposed southernmost point of continental Asia. Also, climb up the watchtower to watch passing ships go by and get a bird’s eye view of the beachfront. The calm, turquoise lagoons here are also ideal for swimming and water sports. It was a lovely location to visit.
Most importantly, there are restrooms, showers, changing rooms, and many more services available at the beach.

Supertrees Grove and OCBC Skywalk
#sginsider
Supertrees are tree-like structures that dominate the gardens' landscape with heights that range between 25 metres and 50 metres.
The OCBC Skyway at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore is an elevated skywalk connecting some of the Supertrees. The OCBC Skyway is 22 metres above the ground and 128 metres long.
I only saw the daytime view because I didn't have time for the evening. If you want, you can enjoy both the daytime and nighttime views of the OCBC Skyway. Also there are light and music show in the evenings.

Cloud Forest is incredible, it's like stepping into another world. As soon as you enter, you will encounter the closed waterfall and there are many more things to discover! Moreover, Singapore is a hot country year-round, so visiting here is more than a great way to cool off.
You can take the elevator to the top of this waterfall and take a skywalk among countless tropical plants.
Cloud Forest was one of the most amazing places I have visited in Singapore. It was so different from anything I've ever visited because it's an artificial world made by human hands, but also so incredible and truly real. an indescribable experience, you must go and see it for this experience!

Gardens by the bay
The project was started in 2007 to draw attention to climate change for Garden by the Bay, the most famous garden in the world, and its construction was completed in 2011.
They tried to show the rain forest in the cloud forest and the cold and humid tropical mountain environment between 1500-3000 m and what kind of climate is there.
Super trees, which have become the symbol of Singapore, are among the places to visit. In this place, which has been designed in a fantastic style, you have the opportunity to look at the trees from above with the road built. Photosynthesis is done in trees made by human hands. We can say that it is the perfect product of nature and technology.
It's not enough to tell, I definitely recommend you to go.

Singapore: Flora
One of the best tourist attraction you need to check out when you visit Singapore. Gardens by the Bay is a nature park in the Central Region of Singapore just adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. It’s like a massive (101 hectares) garden inside a dome 😱 there was even a man-made waterfalls in it 🤯 kids would love and enjoy the place as they can also learn and be educated with the plant kingdom while exploring the area. As you tour around, you’ll see thousands of different kinds of plants and flowers you seldom see. It was indeed a great experience for me and my friends. There were also a lot of instgrammable spots to take photos. 😉📸

VTL Europe: Zurich - Mt Titlis
Switzerland has been a country of my dream where I wanted to go study culinary or hospitality but too bad, I never do so have to wait for chance to go and visit this beautiful country.
I have to thank my partner for the surprise VTL trip. Although I hate to do PCR as it hurts, but the price is worth. We didn't come here straightaway, but we enter from Germany.
In Switzerland, we rented car and my partner is the one who drive. Drove from Zurich to Mt Titlis, and we stopped by Laderach to buy chocolate.
It was snowing and super cold, the weather which I love to discover. We had fun playing snowball fight at Mt. Titlis and took a few pictures as memories.
I can't wait for other countries to open VTL and you should travel too! Trust me, the price is worth to spent especially if you go to far away place like Europe or US.

West coast park - Singapore
📍W Coast Ferry Rd, S126978
West coast park is a park around the seaside. The park isn’t very large but has everything needed. There’s big grassland, where people can have picnics or fly the kite, 🪁 and playgrounds for children, with some swings and slides, which makes the park a great place for families with kids to come. 👨👩👧👦
Besides, there is also sidewalk here, so you could see many people cycling, running and taking walk here. 🏃♀️And a Mc Donald is located at the door.🍔
The most attractive point of the park is that it’s by the sea so you could see the beautiful sunset. 🌄Singapore’s sunset is usually around 7 o’clock (could check the exact time on the internet), so around 6, many people come and sit on the rocks by the sea. Some may have some fried chickens and chat with families or friends, and watch the sun fall down to the horizon.
It’s a great place to relax. But a friendly reminder, remember to pick the right weather if you want to see the most fabulous sunset.☀️

Jurong Lake Gardens - Singapore
📍Yuan Ching Rd
Jurong Lake Gardens are several gardens, located around lakeside MRT station.🚇
It’s free to enter and is a large garden, which is quite a good place for nature lovers and is also good to walk around and just to relax.
The Lone Tree is a kind of a famous “attraction” in the garden. It’s a fake tree made by iron wire, standing alone in the middle of grassland. Girls would love to take some pictures here.🌳
There are also grasslands, stream, lake, and all the other views that should be in a natural garden. But unfortunately, some parts of the garden are now under maintenance. And better not to go there on a sunny day afternoon. Sunshine may be comforting, it can be burning sometimes.🌞
