We sailed on our very 1st Celebrity Cruise in March 2024. Here’s what we thought! 🛳️We booked a sky suite with a balcony on their newest ship Ascent. The room, service, food and amenities were wonderful! The ship is modern yet sophisticated and absolutely stunning! 👉🏻 We felt this Cruise Line is more appealing to middle age and older crowd. There weren’t any rock climbing walls, go carts or water slides for young kids to enjoy. Because of that, there were hardly any kids or teenagers on this cruise. We viewed this as a positive experience because our kids are older now. Don't forget to degust perfectly cooked rolls, kacamak and laing at this place. This place is known for good Mojitos, wine or rum. Here you may order great espresso. You can listen to live music in the evening. The competent staff demonstrates a high level of hospitality at this spot. Here you will pay fair prices. In accordance with the reviewers' opinions, the decor can be described as dull. If you visit this restaurant, have no doubt, you are to like the surrounding lovely atmosphere. Google gives it 4.8 so you can choose Guantanamera Cafe and Lounge to have a good time here.

Great experience. Food was fresh, delicious, and well plated! Very large portions, definitely shareable. We went at 2:30pm on a Saturday and we had no wait. All staff were very attentive and friendly. We ordered the Burrata Avocado Toast with smoked salmon, Blueberry Cream Pancakes, Waffles with fruit and bacon, strawberry lemonade, and champagne fruit popsicle mimosa. Everything was amazing! So tasty! We will definitely be back!

The Everglades is the third largest park on the UNESCO world heritage list.There are many different types of vehicles and various wild animals are licking in this park so be careful 😉 I was surprised that the roots of the ‘Mangrow Tree’ are among the endangered species because these trees prevent erosion. The moment the auroras appeared, glowing softly across the dark sky, I felt an overwhelming mix of joy and relief. The journey to get here wasn’t easy: long nights, cold winds, and countless moments of waiting in the dark. But seeing those magical green waves dance above the ship made every challenge worth it. Standing on deck, wrapped in the ocean breeze and staring at the lights, I felt incredibly grateful. A hard-earned but unforgettable victory.

The winter climate is very comfortable, neither cold nor hot. Miami traffic is prone to congestion, and parking is expensive and difficult, so public transportation + walking, shared bikes, and the local free Trolley are more convenient options. If you are in a group, taking a taxi is convenient and cost-effective. For distant places like Everglades National Park and Key West, it is still recommended to rent a car or join a tour group. #cruiseholiday Overall, this cruise gets a 10. We like the smaller boat. Room was nice, ship well maintained. The food was good to very good. Crew was always pleasant and always helpful. We enjoyed the itinerary. I suggest booking excursions with Celebrity or another company before you go as some sell out. (and it's nice to have your plans before you go) Sea days were enjoyable as well. When we had to take tenders, the process was quick and excellent. Boarding the ship was very good, leaving the ship was excellent. The best experience we've had.

#cruiseholiday The ships is old and run down and it shows. Engine problems meant we missed a port. They should have retied this ship years ago. Food varied from just OK to awful. Quality of food was poor, they obviously are buying the cheapest products they can find. Entertainment was nothing special. They were constantly trying to sell you something, - from photos, gaudy jewelry, very expensive shire excursions, binoculars, overpriced "artwork," pull tabs, and a first for us ... used ladies handbags. I am a latitude members and have sailed on other NCL ship, but the experience this time was so poor I will never risk my money on another cruise on NCL. Norwegian has really gone down hill in the past couple of years.
