Walking the streets of Stanley, lingering among the architecture full of British flair, it feels like strolling through a tranquil town in England, until the sight of lupins in front of the church and the lively seals by the dock remind you that you are in the Falkland Islands in the southern hemisphere. On the third day of the voyage, we finally landed on the island for the first time. Under the guidance of the expedition team members, everyone went to the locker room to dress according to the landing group. After completing the disinfection in an orderly manner, we changed to the assault boat to land. Today the outdoor temperature is about 9 degrees, the weather is sunny and cloudless, and the sea situation is relatively stable. After docking, we walked about 3 kilometers along the red flag and arrived at the steep cliff about 380 meters southwest of the island.
