To be honest, I sincerely advise against coming to Malta 🇲🇹 After visiting here, other islands just feel a bit lacking Jelly-colored Mediterranean blue sea, golden medieval old towns, Game of Thrones filming locations Cliffs and sea by day, orange sunsets by evening But! It’s not for everyone! Here’s a full rundown of the real pros and cons of a 5-day trip. Sisters planning to go, read this before deciding! ❗First, some honest warnings | don’t come if you can’t handle these ▪️It’s all uphill and downhill! Valletta and Mdina old towns are full of stairs, walking is tough on your legs. Be sure to wear soft, comfortable shoes ▪️Summer from June to August is scorching! The midday sun is intense. Sliema is a resort town on the northeast coast of Malta's main island. It is also a major commercial and residential area and most importantly, easily accessible on a short ferry ride from Valletta. The ferry ride only takes 15 minutes and it is also quite frequent. After arriving at the Sliema ferry terminal, we walked from one side of the water to the other and arrived at the Sliema beach. Even though it was mid-October, the sun was shining brightly and residents were spending quality family time by the sea.
