Celebrating Doraemon's birthday in Tokyo's summer!

Today is Doraemon's birthday! Let's all say: Happy Birthday Doraemon🥳🥳🎂 🎈In the afternoon, a Doraemon balloon parade was held in Roppongi, and this big blue guy is just too huge😍😍 There was not only a band performing the theme song live, but also the real-life Doraemon, Nobita, and Shizuka made an appearance, bringing out a cake to celebrate Doraemon's birthday🎂 💃In the evening, the Bon Odori dance featured the three little ones dancing! The best chicken-katsu in Tokyo, Imakatsu

A good friend of mine once asked me to make a reservation at Imakatsu in Roppongi(through the phone) even before booking the flight ticket to Tokyo, and I thought she was funny. When I saw her satisfying reaction after she visited Imakatsu, I thought she was exaggerating. Today I had a chance to visit there, and I found out that she was not. Magical Illuminations at Roppongi

#christmaswonderland2023 Christmas is around the corner and in Tokyo, there are many places where the illumination has takes place. I was at Roppongi and I happened to visit the 2 most famous illumination spots there: Tokyo Midtown and Roppinhi Hills. Roppongi Hills atrracts more tourists as that area is more of a shopping district, which is why tourists who shops there will flock there to view the Christmas lights. Tokyo Midtown is more of a quite neighbourhood, where warm white lights make the surroundings more romantic. The distance between 2 places is quite far but it should takes around 20 minutes by walking, so we could covee 2 places at 1 night.
