The atmosphere is great. ⛰️🥬 The mornings are absolutely wonderful. You can take a stroll in the hotel's very own organic, chemical-free vegetable garden. The chef mentioned that the veggies grown right here are used for the restaurant's salad bar! Some of the main ingredients used in the kitchen are harvested fresh from this garden, which is simply fantastic. ✨ For breakfast, we dined at the hotel's "Krua Tor Khao" restaurant (they don't use any MSG in their food). Super healthy! 🥬 ⏰ Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM. There's a wide variety of food to choose from. For rice, they offer both steamed white rice and brown rice, along with a great selection of side dishes. If you go on weekends or holidays, expect a massive crowd. Our first stop was to pay respects to the back-to-back Buddha statues. Flowers, incense, and candles are provided. Afterward, we strolled around the inner grounds of the grand stupa (Mahathat), which is surrounded by Buddha statues. Stepping inside gave me literal goosebumps—it felt so sacred and mystical! You can also climb up to the top of the stupa. The temple grounds are lush, shady, and filled with trees. The resident nuns are extremely welcoming and offer great advice. A relaxing getaway close to Bangkok—today we drove to Ratchaburi. Before heading to other attractions, we stopped by downtown Ratchaburi first. We looked for a cool place to visit and came across this ceramic factory. They have both display pieces and handmade ceramic works for sale. The pieces here are colorful, beautiful, and truly one of a kind. If you enjoy home decor and are looking for vases or unique sculptures, I’d definitely recommend stopping by. Besides taking photos, you’ll probably end up bringing something nice home too. 🔥There is no admission fee.

The water in the area is very deep (around 30 meters), so swimming or getting too close to the edge while taking photos is not recommended. We ordered a special beef noodle soup with mixed beef and a bowl of rice. It was so filling! The price isn't too high, which I personally find acceptable considering the quality. I loved it! It's an ideal spot for photography, especially in the morning or evening. (Note: The water is quite deep, so exercise caution when taking photos near the edge.) Paying homage to Guan Yin at Wat Nong Hoi, Ratchaburi Province. "Mount Guan Yin" or Wat Nong Hoi is home to a large golden Guan Yin statue housed within a grand hall. Each day, numerous visitors from Ratchaburi and nearby provinces come to worship and pay their respects. Situated on a hill, Wat Nong Hoi offers stunning views, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery after paying homage and making merit. Initially, a sculptor was commissioned to create a Guan Yin statue approximately 1 meter tall, which was first enshrined in a pavilion. Later, as news spread, devotees contributed to the construction of the Guan Yin hall. On Sunday, April 14, 1981, at 2:00 PM, coinciding with Guan Yin's birthday (according to the Chinese calendar, 1982), Phra Ratchawalaphacharn presided over the casting of the Guan Yin statue on Mount Guan Yin. The statue, made of brass, depicts Guan Yin in a blessing posture, holding a vase containing divine dew in her left hand and a pine branch in her right hand. The statue stands approximately 3.59 meters tall on a lotus base and was enshrined in the hall on Sunday, November 2, 1982. The temple also provides parking facilities at the top of the hill. This place features limestone mountains and a lake with beautiful views and easy walking paths. · Stroll around the lake · Take photos of the mountains reflecting on the water · Quiet and relaxing atmosphere, no long walks required 🍜 Late morning to noon — Stop for a meal before heading to Suan Phueng Drive further to the Suan Phueng area (about 1 hour). Along the way, there are many local restaurants. Choose simple Thai dishes to recharge before continuing your trip. 🌿 Afternoon — Nature zone at Suan Phueng 📍 Suan Phueng This area feels like a countryside mountain retreat with good weather and scenic roads. After recharging, continue exploring. 🎨 Take photos of the beautiful manhole covers in front of d Kunst Art Space and Cafe. 🚫 The Ratchaburi National Museum building is beautiful, but it’s currently closed for renovations, which is a pity. 📸 Cross the street to walk along the riverside and take photos. There are sculptures of children, jars, and dragons to capture. Turn back from the river to the street side, where you’ll find charming old-style buildings to admire. 🕰 At the lawn market near the clock tower, there are many delicious food stalls, but since I was still full, I didn’t buy anything. 🛟 At the pier, you can feed the fish. There are plenty of fish and pigeons too. 👟 Cross the street and enter the old market area. We’re heading to the trendy spot, The Old Town Ratchaburi. Inside, there are many hidden cafes and restaurants. 🍵 Hurry to the green tea shop (Sao Home Matcha) because it’s almost closing time! (On weekdays, the shop closes at 3 PM). 🍡 Order green tea and daifuku from the shop opposite (Artid) to enjoy in front of the shop. 🥚 Stop by to buy the traditional 70-year-old egg cakes from Mae Thomya, the original Ratchaburi seller. They come in soft and crispy versions, not overly sweet, and quite tasty. With souvenirs in hand, head back to Ratchaburi Station to prepare for the return trip. 🚂 Return: Train No. 262 Ordinary Train Suan Son Pradipat - Bangkok (Hua Lamphong) Depart Ratchaburi at 4:30 PM and arrive in Bangkok around 7 PM, depending on your station. The fare is the same as the outbound trip. Note: Trains can often be delayed.
