I was really shocked to find such an island in Hefei 🏝
A place that is not inferior to Sanya, Hainan
This is Chaohu Lake in Hefei‼️ It is called the Little Sanya of Hefei
There are cruise ships, beaches, and swimming sheds
Take a walk by the lake in your spare time and enjoy the sunset in the evening

The sunrise at Chaohu Lake is truly beautiful
This is Chaohu, this is Laoshan Island.
Transportation: It is recommended to drive by yourself, as it's really far from the city center to Laoshan Island, about an hour's drive. There is a paid parking lot inside the scenic area.
Tickets: Mechanical boat 60 RMB per person, speedboat 75 RMB per person, including round trip. You can take photos on the mechanical boat, while the speedboat is more thrilling. If you bought a ticket for the mechanical boat, you can add 10 RMB to take the speedboat back. The mechanical boat trip takes about 15-20 minutes, with a boat every 30 minutes, while the speedboat takes about 10 minutes to reach the shore, with a boat every 10 minutes.
Sightseeing: It takes about 2-3 hours to walk around the island, and there are also sightseeing cars available for purchase. The island's walking path includes steps, and climbing to Wenfeng Tower is also a stepped path. It is recommended to wear comfortable casual shoes and to take your time to enjoy the scenery. Also, be sure to pay attention to sun protection!
Attractions: Nantang Fishing Village - Shengfei Temple - Wenfeng Tower
The sunset was watched at Hongshizui Park. The last boat back from Laoshan Island is at 6 pm (or maybe 5:30 pm, I can't remember clearly). After disembarking, drive to Hongshizui Park to watch the sunset, which is really super beautiful. Now the sunset time is around 7:20 pm, and you can start watching the sun slowly set from 7 pm.

Punching in at Hefei's version of Gulangyu - Laoshan Island of Chaohu, it's simply too beautiful
Driving from Hefei, it takes a little over an hour to reach the Laoshan Island scenic area🏔. It gets quite crowded during holidays, and there might be a bit of traffic🚦, so it's recommended to set off early🚗. Once you arrive at the scenic area, there's a dedicated parking lot🅿. The parking fee isn't expensive; parking for an afternoon only costs about ten yuan💰. After parking, a few minutes' walk will take you to the pier where you can catch a boat🚢. You can buy tickets online in advance🎫🛥. A mechanical boat costs 60 yuan (including admission + round-trip mechanical boat ticket)🚤, and a speedboat costs 75 yuan (including admission + round-trip speedboat ticket). After arriving on the island, if you want to go around the island, it's recommended to take the sightseeing bus (20 yuan/person). If you choose to walk, it might take half a day and can be quite tiring🚶. On the island, it's highly recommended to visit the 'Fishing Village'. The village is planted with many loquat and apricot trees🌳, and various flowers and green plants🌸. It's very peaceful and beautiful😊. Sisters who like taking photos must check in here; it's very photogenic📷. There are also many farm-style restaurants in the fishing village, so you can have lunch there🍱🔔. Warm reminder: The last return boat is at 17:30. Don't miss it because of the beautiful scenery. After returning to the pier, if you're not in a hurry to leave, you can enjoy the sunset🌇. The orange glow of the sun reflected in the lake is very romantic and healing🩹

I now have my own little island diary!
I accidentally discovered that there is a small island in the middle of Chaohu Lake, so I set off when the weather was clear! It's best to drive there if possible because the place is a bit remote and not easy to get a taxi.
If you are a student, you can take bus No. 308 to the terminal station. You can take the bus from the exit of Tangxihe Park Station on Line 1 or from the east of the Provincial Administrative Center on Line 5. The journey takes about an hour or more.
I went there by taxi, which cost about 50 yuan (because the next bus was 40 minutes away when I was going). On the way back, I took the bus.
Upon arrival, you take a boat to the island. The island is not big, with hills and water. First, you go up the hill opposite the fishing village. There is a small pagoda with seven floors at the top, where you can climb up to see the scenery. Then you descend the hill from the back, where there is a river beach. After walking around, you arrive back at the fishing village (there are also many check-in spots and places to eat in the fishing village. I think the sign of 'Island Home' at the entrance of the fishing village is the most photogenic spot!). This way, you have toured the entire left side of the island. I followed this route (which was also recommended by a local aunt, so you can refer to this route). The whole route takes about three to four hours to tour. If you want to watch the sunset, I suggest going in the afternoon. I went a bit early and left the island around two or three o'clock, so I didn't have lunch there. I won't comment on the food here.

Anhui Trip 44
On March 24, 2024, at 12:00 PM, the Heilongjiang Corps veterans' health and vacation tour arrived at today's third destination: Laoshan Island Scenic Area in Chaohu. Located to the southwest of Zhongmiao Street in Chaohu City, it sits in the middle of Chaohu Lake, one of the five largest freshwater lakes in the country. The island is roughly spindle-shaped, with lush forests and evergreen trees all year round, resembling a green snail floating on the water. Surrounded by water on all sides, Laoshan Island is like a leaf drifting on the lake, the only 'green oasis' in the eight hundred li of Chaohu Lake, and it is the premier scenic spot of Chaohu. After a 15-minute boat ride from the dock, visitors reach the island and then take an electric sightseeing car for a tour around the island. Due to heavy fog and poor visibility on that day, the plan to climb the mountain on the island was abandoned.

Hefei really has a sea—Laoshan Island The strongest pit-avoiding guide!!!
Transportation: 🚇Subway👉🏻Bus🚌👉🏻Ferry🚢
308 bus, terminal station - Zhongmiao Bus Station, my friend and I went on the weekend, the bus was super crowded, and basically, you have to stand for the whole journey. Along the route of 308, you can see the lake water by the shore, it's really beautiful~
Tickets: 🚢Ferry 60/person (round trip) every thirty minutes
🚤Speedboat 75/person (round trip) every fifteen minutes
We arrived at Laoshan Island in the afternoon, so we chose the speedboat, which was really exciting. If you go there, try to sit in the back row, you can see the spray, and you can stretch out your hands to feel the wind and the spray on your hands
On the island: 🏔The island is quite large, because the sun was quite strong in the afternoon, so we didn't choose to climb the mountain directly. We strolled around the fishing village, near the lakeside, where the breeze was blowing. Due to the summer, there were a lot of algae, and the lake water was quite green
Photography: 📷Going further in, I found the popular photo spot~ a road with the sign 'Langyurenjia'. Following this road upwards, you can see the boundless Chaohu Lake, taking photos is really photogenic~
Return trip: ⛴The last boat is at 18:00
🚋The last bus is at 18:30
So I arrived at the pier at 5:30 pm, ready to return. I also saw the sunset, which was absolutely beautiful... You must get to the shore before 18:30, otherwise, you might miss the last evening bus
Food: 🍤Shrimp cakes, 10 yuan for three, I personally think they are quite tasty, and the rice crusts are also fried fresh every day, very tender and crispy, I suggest everyone buy a pack to try

Lushan Island is a pearl on Chaohu Lake in Anhui
Once you get to Lushan Island, you can see the endless lake. There are many snack stalls opposite the pier, and almost every shop sells shrimp cakes and fried knife fish, which are three for 10 yuan, probably a specialty of Chaohu. I bought both to try, but they were a bit greasy and not highly recommended. After eating, I bought two yacht tickets at the ticket office, 60 yuan per person. There are two yachts running back and forth, and there are several speedboats nearby, which look quite exciting. After checking the ticket at the pier, I went directly to the second floor of the yacht, where the view is wider. Later, more and more people came. After about five or six minutes, when there were almost enough people, the boat set off. It was my first time and it felt pretty good, especially when the boat got further and further away from the shore. Seeing the endless lake made me feel open-minded. After about ten or more minutes, we arrived at the pier on the island. After getting off the boat, I sat in the rest hall for a while, then went to a scenic spot called Fishing Village. Inside are some renovated old houses, restaurants, and more accommodations. The roads are very clean and there are not many people, which is quite quiet. Further inside, there is a place where you can see the entire lake, which is particularly suitable for taking pictures. It looks good even with the original camera. In the direction of the center of the island, there is a stone staircase that can be climbed to the top of the mountain. There are forests on the side, which is very cool. There are also some pavilions where you can rest in the middle. After climbing a short distance, I felt a bit tired, so I returned the same way. It was almost four o'clock, so I returned to the Fishing Village and found a restaurant for dinner (because after six o'clock, you can't take a yacht). The boss recommended their noodle fish and silver fish, so we ordered two dishes and a soup. The taste was okay, and the price was definitely a bit more expensive than outside. After dinner, I walked around the mountain road for a long time. I originally wanted to walk around the island, but I didn't expect it to take so long. However, the surrounding scenery was really good. There was a tunnel full of rocks inside, which was quite novel. Later, when I saw that it was almost six o'clock, I chose to take a sightseeing car back to the pier on the island. When I went back, I wanted to experience a speedboat, so I added 10 yuan to take a speedboat. At that point, the sunset had come out. Sitting on the speedboat and watching the sunset was incredibly beautiful. Sisters who go to play must experience the speedboat!! When I got to the shore, I called a Didi. I originally thought I would have to queue for a long time to get a ride, as there were quite a few people playing. I didn't expect to get a ride so quickly. My friend and I spent more than seventy yuan each on the taxi ride back and forth, which was a bit heartbreaking. On the way back, there was a section of road that was super congested, which caused us to sit for almost two hours before we got home. I suggest that friends who go to play should go early and return early to avoid traffic jams.
