You wouldn't know how beautiful Tusihan Temple is until you go there
At the tail end of the National Day holiday, with continuous drizzle, I didn't want to spend it at home, so I chose Nanshan Tusihan Temple. The misty rain added a mysterious beauty, overlooking the Yuzhong Peninsula, it was even more beautiful than on a sunny day!
Actually, every time I come to Tusihan Temple, it's to enjoy some tea and the scenery. With just 10 yuan, you can enjoy a view worth millions. The tea garden at Tusihan Temple is not a specialized teahouse, but it is indeed the most down-to-earth and treasured place.
I highly recommend that all the darlings traveling to Chongqing come and check in here. You can see the beauty of Chongqing better than from One Tree or the Dajinying. For 5 yuan a bowl, you can sip covered-bowl tea, watch the clouds roll by, discuss the various aspects of life, feel the breeze on your face, and experience the unique characteristics of the mountain city. The view you get for 5 yuan is worth much more than what you'd see at a wilderness tea stall. Don't waste your money foolishly anymore!
Nanshan Tusihan Temple, with its long history and tranquil environment, is the perfect place to enjoy tea and scenery, and to feel the charm of Chongqing. You can immerse yourself in the rich cultural atmosphere and beautiful natural scenery here, which is definitely one of the spots you shouldn't miss when touring Chongqing. The scenery here is truly more beautiful than some tea stalls, and you can enjoy such beautiful views for very little money, which is really worth a visit!

Tushan Temple Tour
The persistent overcast clouds finally dispersed before I began my ascent.
The intermittent sun, though not warming my shoulders,
still managed to freeze time the moment I stepped through the temple gates.
I am indifferent to the nearly moldy wooden pillars that come to life with the sun's touch.
A brief pause in the dull wind could also be the purpose of my journey.
Measuring this place from bottom to top, over and over,
in the temple courtyard, the heavy water tank cradles carefree fish,
their movements so free as if the sunlight through the water is their ethereal playground.
The birds in the sky seem to fly within this tank,
while the fish appear to swim in the heavens.
The candlesticks, layered with the residue of long burns,
and the incense burner—whose whispers are buried in its smoke?
The further I walk into the back courtyard, the quieter it becomes,
quiet enough to hear only the echoes of those beside me,
quiet enough for the sound of sweeping to be deafening,
quiet enough to hear a leaf fall in the distance with absolute clarity.
It becomes more and more like an illusion, and only the camera in my hand
assures me of the reality I am in.
Becoming more awake, these buildings that transcend time
push me forward, layer by layer.

Tu Shan Temple | The past and present of Nanshan
Tu Shan Temple is located on Nanshan in the Nan'an District. You can drive there directly with GPS, or take bus 384 to Tu Shan Temple station and walk for about 10 minutes to reach the destination.
The temple is built along the mountain, and with the towering mountain terrain, ancient trees reaching the sky, and green trees all around, the eight temple halls with their flying eaves and rising corners are very majestic and solemn.
The Nanshan area is all sloping hillsides, so it's recommended to wear comfortable shoes. Laojun Cave, Yikeshu Viewing Platform, and Huangjiaoya Old Street are all nearby, and they are all worth a casual visit. Of course, there are also loquat gardens on Nanshan, and at night you can enjoy hotpot (during the day you can try spring water chicken).
The temple has an entrance fee of five yuan, which you can purchase on site. Inside the temple, there is tea drinking, and when the weather is good, there are quite a few people. It's also five yuan per person, and you can overlook the scenery of the two rivers of Yuzhong Peninsula and Jiangbeizui, which is very pleasant. If you are a photography enthusiast, this will be a good choice. However, there are some places where it is not advisable to sit next to, as it may be inappropriate.
Moreover, Tu Shan Temple has a long history, dating back to times that are no longer traceable. It is said that in ancient times, when Yu the Great controlled the waters, he married Tushan Shi on Tushan, and the ancients built the "Yu King Temple" on the mountain to commemorate Yu's great achievements in water control. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the scale of the temple began to expand, and Zhenwu Temple was merged with the old site of Yu King Temple, hence people referred to it as "Tu Shan Temple".
The temple has a long history and the architecture is quite compact, not very large, but the incense offerings are particularly prosperous. When I went there, it happened to be the fifth day of the lunar month, and there was a God of Wealth Hall in the innermost part, just in time to worship and welcome the God of Wealth!

The vegetarian food inside is also good, especially the tofu pudding, which is very authentic. The twice-cooked pork and pickled pepper pig liver are also good (of course, they are vegetarian).

Five yuan for a pot of tea, a leisurely afternoon
Tushan Temple, recently fell in love with visiting temples
Temples are quiet and peaceful places where you can escape from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a tranquil atmosphere
Located at the top of Nanshan Tushan, it is the oldest existing temple
Because the temple has ancient supplies of Zhenwu ancestors, it is also called Zhenwu Temple
5 yuan for a pot of tea, you can bring your own tea set (the ticket is also 5 yuan) Ps: Please clean up and put it back when you leave. It's really comfortable to sit lazily for an afternoon
