Phra Mahathat Chedi Traiphum Trimongkol, Songkhla Province
📍Phra Mahathat Chedi Traiphum Trimongkol (Stainless Steel Chedi), Songkhla Province
🙏🏻 Today, we are still in Songkhla Province. Today, Air will take everyone to visit Wat Phra Mahathat Chedi Traiphum Trimongkol or Stainless Steel Temple. 🥰🥰 Personally, this is my first time visiting this temple. I must have felt the cool and peaceful atmosphere because there are big trees around. Before going up to see the Stainless Steel Chedi, there will be Guan Yin, Somdej Phra Buddhacarya Toh, and a Sukhothai-style Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya posture for us to pay homage to first. 😊👍🏻 It is a very beautiful temple, both inside and outside. Looking from the front, it is very beautiful. When walking to the back, there is a cave with a Guan Yin statue. There is a large Buddha statue and beautiful white elephants. The atmosphere is very good. It is suitable for traveling and making merit. 😊😊 Anyone who visits Songkhla Province must not miss this temple. There are both photo spots and places for us to pay homage. It can be said that this is another tourist attraction that is very much worth visiting. 🥰🥰
⏰ Opening/Closing hours: 08.00 - 18.00 (Open every day)
🚗 There is a parking lot.
⭐️ Rating: 10/10

On a tranquil afternoon in Hat Yai, Thailand, I found myself at the awe-inspiring Phra Maha Chedi Tripob Trimongkol, also known as the Stainless Pagoda. As I entered through its gates, my eyes were immediately drawn to a remarkable structure constructed predominantly from stainless steel materials. The gleaming exterior was a testament to human craftsmanship, reflecting the sunlight and creating a mesmerizing play of light and shadows.
One of the remarkable aspects of my visit was the relatively sparse crowd. The temple grounds offered a sense of serenity and quietude, allowing for a deeper connection to the spiritual ambiance. The peacefulness of the surroundings provided an opportunity to reflect and soak in the sacredness of the place, unencumbered by bustling crowds.
As I wandered through the temple complex, I couldn't help but be captivated by the grandeur of the Stainless Pagoda. Its towering spires and intricate details showcased the dedication and artistry that went into its construction. The blend of modern stainless steel materials with traditional architectural elements created a unique and harmonious aesthetic.
The temple's sanctity was palpable, inspiring a sense of reverence as I explored its various halls and shrines. The tranquil ambiance invited moments of introspection, and the quietude allowed me to appreciate the intricate religious artwork that adorned the interiors.
In conclusion, my visit to the Stainless Pagoda was a soul-enriching experience. The combination of its stunning stainless steel architecture, the tranquil environment, and the profound sense of sanctity made it a truly memorable and meaningful destination for spiritual contemplation.

The Dazzling Stainless Steel Temple of Hat Yai: Phra Maha Chedi Tripob Trimongkol
#newyearnewtrip #travelanywhere #religioustourism
I never imagined I’d find a Buddhist temple so stunningly modern yet deeply spiritual, but Phra Maha Chedi Tripob Trimongkol, also known as the Stainless Steel Temple, completely blew me away. This airy, futuristic temple stands out with its striking design, where sleek stainless steel forms a dramatic contrast against the surrounding natural beauty. As I walked around, the reflective surfaces seemed to change with the light, creating a mesmerizing effect that felt almost otherworldly.
The temple is a quiet space for contemplation, and despite its contemporary design, it retains the tranquility and reverence of traditional Buddhist sites. If you visit, I recommend taking time to admire the intricate details of the pagoda and the serene atmosphere it offers. For the best photos, visit in the early morning or late afternoon when the sun casts beautiful light on the stainless steel.
Phra Maha Chedi Tripob Trimongkol is a must-see for those seeking both modern architecture and spiritual peace.

Approximately 2.2 km uphill from the main road.
You must rent a motorcycle, a cab (driver) or walk up and down hill yourself. No cab or other public transport passes through here, unless you booked them in advance. The temple is located at the top and the road ends here. Quite a fascinating structure built almost entirely with stainless steel. It has writings and drawings on the inside walls but no english translation, all in Thai. To be able to understand the story written and drawn would be nice. Looks interesting.

Stainless Steel Temple Hat Yai 🙏🙇♀🎁
📍 Wat Phra Maha Chedi Traiphum Trimongkol or Stainless Temple, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province. The pagoda is beautiful and unique. All steel frames are made of stainless steel. Phra Maha Chedi Traiphum Trimongkol was built to offer merit to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the occasion of his 60th anniversary of ascension to the throne. It was also built to be a center of mind to continue Buddhism, customs, and culture, Thai traditions, to disseminate the life story of the Buddha and the conduct of the Lord Buddha, and to be a center of mind for Buddhists to study and disseminate Buddhism.

Can’t Imagine how this Pagoda was Built!
Up on a hill is this peaceful and interesting pagoda made of stainless steel, guarded by naga. Can’t imagine how this was built.
Serene and windy place with chimes ringing gently and family of dogs chilling.
Another interesting concept is the pockets of spaces depicting Buddha’s life stories that felt like illusionary spaces as you step into each of them.
Would like to meet the designer or architect to understand the inspirations behind his/her ideas!💡
Took a grab here and the driver offered to stay and bring us down to next destination. Love the warmth of Thai!
