What to eat at Mid Valley

#weekendgetaways bring me to Malaysia for weekend feasting at Mid Valley Food court and restaurant. There are way too many food options, and it is difficult to try all of them. Almost all the stores always have customers waiting in queues so you can try to come during off peak timing. Most of the eateries do not practice reservations or mobile queue system. So have to queue in person physically outside the eateries. You also can go cashless here and almost all the eateries can accept cards and you can use TnG, Malaysia e-wallet too to get the best rates.

Traditional Malaysian Breakfast

I was craving for some traditional Malaysian breakfast and was recommended Oriental Kopi by quite a few people I asked, even the hotel concierge! Oriental Kopi is known for their eggtarts and they even hold the Malaysian Record for most egg tarts sold in a day! It was quite busy at 10am, but the queue moved fast and I was whisked into my seat. Service was friendly and quick, which my empty stomach really appreciated. The place was clean too. We ordered oriental coffees and teas which were really good. Their egg mayo toast was probably the best I had in a long time! The fried bee Hoon is very spicy, so please beware! The noodles on the other hand was very good and would defiantly come back here!! #malaysiatrip 📍The Travelling Duck, Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur Had a delightful and fulfilling lunch here at The Travelling Duck which is located in Mid Valley mall, Kuala Lumpur! Specialised in roasted Irish Duck, they do serve top tier high quality roasted duck! The restaurant is a cozy and minimalist one, love that they incorporate British theme into the restaurant , how cute! The food was served quickly and warm! Service from the staffs were decent. Roasted duck was great and served with crispy skin, great proportion of lean and fat meat. One of the dishes that I love would be their homemade seaweed bean curd! Prices are on the higher side, but definitely worth the visit for roasted duck lovers!

#malaysiatrip Had one of the most amazing nasi lemak from Mdm Kwan when I visited Mid Valley. Mid Valley Mall (JB) is not a mall you can complete in a day. There’s just so many things to shop and do there. I spent about 4 hours there but I will surely be back because there’s just so many shops to browse and restaurants I want to dine in. If you do not have enough time in Mid Valley, be sure to at least dine in Mdm Kwan and buy bread/ cakes from Lavender Bakery.

MOVIE WATCHING IN LUXURY AT AURUM THEATRE

#malaysiatrip We had a nice experience watching movie at Aurum Theatre, Midvalley Megamall. It feels luxurious with cozy reclining chairs, peaceful ambience and minimum crowds. A waiting lounge is available that enhances the VIP feels. Snacks are included with the option to order food. Starbucks Reserve Mid Valley

Love the vibe and design here, perfect to sit and chat or get some work done. The staff are very friendly and attentive, welcoming every guest cheerfully. The coffee is as expected from a Starbucks, nothing too special, but definitely a reliable brew, especially when choosing from the reserve catalogue. Had a cuppa of Colombia Starbucks Reserve coffee & it was excellent in terms of its aroma (pink grapefruit & white peach) & body. #malaysia
