After comparing many hotels, I finally chose Holiday Inn Express Clarke Quay. Because of the good location and I was attracted by the glass swimming pool on the rooftop. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Fort Canning/Clarke Quay MRT Station; about 10 minutes to Clarke Quay Bar Street, and about 15 minutes to Chinatown; Clarke Quay also has a shopping mall and donki, and transportation, shopping and nightlife are very convenient. The hotel is semi-open-air in design, and some corridors on each floor are open-air without air conditioning; I booked a twin room, and the view is to the opposite residence, so I have to draw the curtains all day long; the room is not big, and can only hold one luggage rack. If both luggage racks are opened, it will be difficult to walk; Dove shower gel is provided in the bathroom, and it is the first time for me to use dove in a hotel 😂; the glass swimming pool on the rooftop is great 👍🏻, the water is not deep, and it is also very long, which is very suitable for checking in. Holiday inn express at Clarke Quay is one of the three star hotel in Singapore. Even though it is a three star hotel, the services , facilities and amenities more like a four star hotel which is a thumbs up. Request for a high floor room and they really gave us. When we entered the room, room was cozy , clean and well equipped with modern looking furnishings. We were also impressed by the view from our room . There is a infinity pool , garden and fitness centre located at the rooftop facing a spectacular view of the city. Besides swimming, you can get to sit at the beautiful desk chair . Great place to chill and relax. At night, the scenery from the rooftop was even nicer. Breakfast was also included in our hotel stay . Food was delicious and portion considered quite big. There is even a laundry room and vending machine . Bed was comfortable and room also sound proof. Therefore this was one of our most enjoyable hotel stay. Holiday Inn Express Singapore at Clarke Quay is located in downtown walking distance from train station. What amazes me about this hotel is the rooftop swimming pool with glass sidewalls. You can take a picture of the view of skyscrapers also. The best time to see the view is evening. #wintergetaway #wintergetaway
