Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay
🏡Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay
📍2 Magazine Road, Singapore
This time I chose to stay at the Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay. I had heard that the location was good, and my experience confirmed it! Although it takes 10 minutes to walk to the nearest MRT station, there are several bus stops nearby, so it's easy to get around. The hotel offers a City Shuttle service directly to Changi Airport from the lobby, which is super convenient!
🌿The hotel has a simple and modern style, and the facilities are relatively complete. The front desk staff are efficient and friendly, making you feel at home. Check-in was quick and the whole experience was very smooth. Although the room is not large, it is well designed, clean, and tidy. The only downside is that some rooms have windows facing the interior corridor, which is less private. But the rooftop pool and 24-hour gym are highlights, and you can enjoy beautiful city views in the morning or evening. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of options, combining Chinese and Western cuisine, and you can also taste authentic Meiji yogurt, which is a paradise for food lovers.
🛌The room facilities are quite complete in all aspects. There are slippers, a pair of soft and hard pillows, a refrigerator, a kettle, tea and coffee bags, and even an ironing board and iron. The only small downside is that there is no coffee machine or microwave, and the bathroom does not provide conditioner, toothpaste, or toothbrushes, so you need to bring your own. The internet speed in the room is a bit slow, but overall the comfort of the accommodation is good, the bed is soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing is good.
🌆The hotel is close to Clarke Quay, and there are many dining and entertainment options within walking distance. For example, you can try the various restaurants and bars nearby, such as the French-style Loulou, the lively The Mind Cafe, and the French-style grilled fish Bar-Roque Grill, which are all great!
🏞If you have some free time, I recommend visiting a few nearby attractions. The Singapore Flyer is not far away, and at 165 meters high, it offers a super wide view of the entire city. Or you can take a walk in the Cloud Forest and experience the tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
🚶♀️Overall, the Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay is an ideal choice for business trips and short trips, with its efficient and friendly service and excellent location. Of course, the hot weather and slightly small rooms may cause some inconvenience when walking to the MRT station, but these are offset by other advantages and comfort. Therefore, I would definitely consider staying here again, and I hope to experience the rooftop pool that I didn't have time to use! 🌟🌟🌟
