Moon Viewing Road, also known as Yingyue Road, is located at the intersection of Haeundae Beach and Songjeong Beach. Because there are more than 15 bends on the whole road, it is also called a 15-curve road, and there is also a driving route of up to 8km. On Yingyue Road, visitors can overlook the landscape of Haeundae's half-moon bay and the skyscrapers of Dongbaek Island on the opposite bank. There is a Yingyue Park on Yingyue Road. There is a Haiyue Pavilion where you can admire the moon. It was built in 1997 and has a classical and elegant style. There is also the Millennium Commemorative Clock Tower built in January 2000 on Yingwol Road, which symbolizes the door that Busan is entering into a new world, and welcomes the new millennium through the open door. Every year, Yingyue Road Festival is held on Moon Viewing Road. Hundreds of thousands of moon watchers gather on the mountain, looking forward to making their best wishes when the moon rises from the sea level. There are also many cafes on the road for viewing the moon. Tourists come here to enjoy the beauty of Haeundae Beach during the full moon season and enjoy the scenery along the road while sipping coffee while watching the moon. The Moon Appreciation Route consists of five themed promenades, namely "Love Road", "Romantic Road", "Friendship Road", "Thinking Road" and "Memories Path". From the theater to the Haiyue Pavilion, the total length is about 2.2 kilometers. Moon-viewing Road is particularly beautiful at night. The soft lighting like moonlight makes the forest path under the night look romantic and warm. It is one of the favorite dating places for local lovers. The lights on Moon View Road will be turned on after sunset until 11:00 pm and 5:00 am until sunrise.
