Great Barrier Reef 🐠 The world's largest coral reef system, with thousands of reefs and extraordinary marine life. Snorkeling or diving here is one of Australia's signature experiences. Uluru (Ayers Rock) 🏜 A huge red sandstone monolith in the middle of Australia. It is deeply significant to the Anangu Aboriginal people and is spectacular at sunrise and sunset. Sydney Harbour Bridge 🌉 You can actually climb the bridge for panoramic views of Sydney and the Opera House. Kangaroos 🦘 Australia has animals that are difficult to see naturally anywhere else: kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, echidnas and koalas. Quokkas 😄 These small marsupials on Rottnest Island became famous online for their seemingly permanent "smile." The Outback 🌵 Vast desert landscapes, remote communities, red earth and enormous distances. It is completely different from coastal Australia. 💠Coconut Wells – Mysterious turquoise pools. The water is so clear and still that it feels like standing in front of a mirror reflecting the sky. Perfect for meditative photos. 🏜️ The Pinnacles Desert – A slightly surreal park of thousands of limestone pillars sticking out of yellow sand. It looks like the surface of Mars or an ancient city frozen in time. 🌵Umpherston Sinkhole – "Alice's Garden" inside a giant crater. You walk down the stairs into a lush oasis with ivy cascading like a waterfall and flowers that create dreamy shots at sunset. 🪨 Uluru – The legendary red monolith in the heart of the desert. It's not just a rock, it's a sacred site. At sunset, it literally "burns": shifting colors from orange to deep crimson. Which one would you choose for your first trip?

Up close, the Uluru is nothing like what one sees from afar, when the monolith stands as one enormous structure. At the Uluru, one might not readily recognize its color — even the signature rusty red surface felt different — let alone being enclosed within the myriad folds of the rock faces that gives an impression of malleability, like the ruffles of a silky party dress. When viewing the Uluru from within, its morphing rockfaces felt almost feminine. Our first adventure at the Uluru was the Kuniya Walk. Tjukurpa (pronounced “chook-orr-pa”) is a religion-based philosophy encompassing the initial world views, laws and mores for the two aboriginal peoples of Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara, together known as the Anangu peoples. It lies at the foundation of Anangu culture. While the westerners call it Dreamtime, the aborigines take offense at the suggestion that the stories are mere myths. For the people hold the Tjukurpa as every bit of their truth as the Bible is for the Christians in the world. At the Kuniya Walk, we learned the details of the aboriginal way of life, seeing some significant rock art, the sacred Mutitjulu Waterhole and hearing fundamental Creation Stories that govern their beliefs. The walk is 1km in distance and there is no climbing at all. On the Kuniya Walk you will be led through many aboriginal rock paintings. A lot of these paintings have survived 5,000 years, but there were also paintings from the 1950s. The science of the durability of the painting is one of age-old practice. The aborigines mix the charcoal and ashes of the desert oak tree, blood, water and oil to make their paintings. The aboriginal children learn at a tender age about the meaning of the paintings, especially how each individual pictorial representation bear what meaning. The paintings often serve as critical indicators that concern survival, especially with regards to water and food sources. Otherwise, they stand as living instructions to the aborigines there. The Anangu peoples express clear disapproval of the word Dreamtime or Dreaming to describe the Tjukurpa. As discussed before, some of these stories have such a sacredness that they cannot be retold to people outside of the tribe. There is explicit instruction on the uluru.gov.au website not to replicate or retell the story of Kuniya, and I shall respect that. Suffice it is to say that Kuniya is a woman that is an Ancestral Being of the Anangu peoples. Her ventures into this area of the Uluru resulted in a critical lesson in the upbringing of aboriginal children, and women’s role in that endeavour. #kuniyawalk #outack #outbackadventure #uluru #australia #aboriginal #aboriginalheritage

People say Australia is expensive, but that’s in peak season. In July and August, flights are half price, hotels are 50% off, and attractions feel private—spend about 15,000 per person for 12 days with an amazing experience. This guide explains how to enjoy the off-season, keep it for yourself🦘 ✨Why July and August are cheap and fun 🔹 Prices drop sharply: peak season flights cost over 10,000, off-season you can get them for 5,000–7,000. Hotels cost 2,000+ per night in peak season, but 800–1,200 in the city center off-season for a four-star. 🔹 Fewer crowds, better experience: no lines to board boats at the Great Barrier Reef, no ticket rush at the Sydney Opera House, no tour groups on the Great Ocean Road. No need to Photoshop people out of your photos. 🔹 Best season in the Northern Territory: Uluru’s dry season is June to August, with daytime temps in the 20s, not hot or sunny. You can see the Milky Way and desert stars with the naked eye. Visiting Uluru in the wet season? The experience is half as good. 🔹 Skiing in the south is perfect now: Australia’s Alpine region (Thredbo, Perisher) has peak ski season from June to August. See the ocean in the morning, ski in the afternoon—Australia’s winter is that indulgent. 🗺️12 days, two classic routes Route 1: Essential east coast (great for first-timers) Melbourne 3 days (self-drive Great Ocean Road + Twelve Apostles + penguin parade) → Sydney 3 days (Opera House + Harbor Bridge + Bondi Beach) → Gold Coast 2 days (theme parks + surfing) → Cairns 4 days (Great Barrier Reef diving + Kuranda rainforest + Skyrail) Route 2: Natural hidden gems (for deep travelers) Sydney 2 days → Cairns 3 days (Great Barrier Reef + rainforest) → Uluru 3 days (Ayers Rock + Kings Canyon + desert stars) → Darwin 2 days (Kakadu National Park) → Perth 2 days (Rottnest Island quokkas) 🍜Local food 🦘Crocodile meat: Attica restaurant specialty, tastes like chicken + fish 🍣Tasmanian salmon: one of the world’s top salmon producers 🦐Moreton Bay bugs: Australian specialty shrimp, a cross between crayfish and lobster 🍺VB beer: Australia’s national beer, 3–4 AUD per bottle in supermarkets 🍦Golden Gaytime ice cream: national favorite, caramel toffee flavor 🥑Australian avocado: large and cheap, a breakfast staple 💡Practical tips · Visa: eVisitor 600 category, apply 2–3 months in advance, recommend using a reliable agent · Transport: fly between cities, book early with Qantas, Jetstar, or Virgin Australia for discounts · Time difference: 2–3 hours ahead of China · Power: Australian three-prong angled plugs (different from China, US, Europe) · Driving: right-hand drive, drive on the left, buy full insurance. Chinese license requires NAATI translation · Strict customs: do not bring any meat, dairy, eggs, fruits, or vegetables · Emergency number: call 000 for police, fire, or ambulance · Shopping: malls close before 6 PM, shop early · Tipping: not mandatory, 10% optional at upscale restaurants Australia in July and August isn’t “winter,” it’s an off-season treasure. The Great Barrier Reef is waiting, whales are waiting, Uluru’s starry sky is waiting. Before it gets crowded, go now🌏

#australiatrip Uluru (formerly known as Ayers Rock) is much more than just a massive sandstone formation in the heart of Australia’s "Red Centre." It is a living cultural landscape, deeply sacred to the Anangu people, the traditional landowners. Here is a quick breakdown of what makes this monolith so remarkable: 1. Geological Marvel Though it looks like a stranded boulder, Uluru is actually an "inselberg" (island mountain). Size: It stands 348 meters (1,142 ft) high, but most of its bulk is actually underground, extending down several kilometers—much like a terrestrial iceberg. Composition: It’s made of arkose sandstone, which contains a high amount of feldspar. The bright orange-red glow is actually "rusting"—the oxidation of iron minerals within the rock. 2. Cultural Significance For the Anangu people, Uluru is the site of Tjukurpa (Creation Time). The fissures, caves, and stains on the rock aren't just geological features; they are physical evidence of the journeys and actions of ancestral beings. Climbing Ban: In October 2019, climbing Uluru was permanently banned out of respect for its spiritual significance and for safety/environmental reasons. Rock Art: The caves around the base contain ancient paintings that have been used for thousands of years to teach Tjukurpa stories to new generations.

#discoversaudimoment 🌵Uluru Camel Tours – The Spirits of the Desert The red sands of central Australia are renowned for their breathtaking natural landscapes. Uluru, serene in the wind and sunshine, lies a tranquil haven often overlooked by travelers – Uluru Camel Tours. Dozens of gentle camels roam the golden desert, their long eyelashes like fans, their movements so slow it seems time itself has stopped. Every morning, the farm awakens in the cool air. The camels line up, waiting to carry travelers to greet the first golden rays. Sunrise at Uluru is always the most enchanting: the sky displays a gradient of pink, purple, orange, gold, and blue, while the camels' shadows are stretched long and thin, like stepping into a desert watercolor painting. Dusk offers a different kind of romance. As the sun sets behind the giant rocks, the red earth is bathed in a soft golden-red hue. A gentle breeze blows, and the camel trot becomes the softest rhythm of the desert. The farm also has a popular little shop, filled with camel milk hand cream, camel milk soap, and various adorable camel toys. These little items, carrying a faint milky scent and the essence of the desert, are the perfect souvenirs to take home. 🧭 Practical Tips Transportation: Take the free shuttle bus from hotels in Ayers Rock Resort, approximately 5–10 minutes to the Camel Farm stop; most riding tours include hotel pick-up and drop-off. Must-Do: Sunrise or sunset camel ride (2–2.5 hours) – best for scenery and photos. Suggestions: Book in advance; dress warmly in the morning; apply sunscreen; not suitable for pregnant women or those with lower back pain. Souvenirs: Camel milk hand cream and camel plush toys are must-buys. Looking back on that trip, I remember the color of the sky, the gait of the camels, and the cool, sweet scent of the desert air. At Uluru, camels aren't just transportation, but a rhythm, a moment of tranquility, a unique experience. If Uluru is the soul of the earth, then camels are the spirits of the desert, silent guardians of this red earth wilderness. #Uluru #AyersRock #UluruCamelTours #CamelFarm #AustraliaTravel #SunriseRide #SunsetRide #MustVisitAustralia #DesertTravel #DesertSpirits

In the heart of Australia lies the mystical rock "Uluru (Ayers Rock)," standing alone amidst the vast red land. The moment I saw it from the airplane window, I was breathless, thinking, "This place really exists...!" 🛫 Upon landing, it felt as if I could hear the heartbeat of the earth. The contrast between the bright blue sky and the vivid red land was stunningly beautiful, creating picturesque scenery no matter where you looked 📸. During the day, I took a walk around the rock. Even the small plants I encountered along the way left a strong impression, thriving resiliently in such harsh conditions 🌿. And... unforgettable were the "flies" 🪰! I had heard there were fewer in winter compared to summer, but they still occasionally buzzed around my face. I walked fully equipped with a hat and hood 😆. As evening approached, the sunlight painted Uluru in shades of orange, red, and deep purple. The magical gradient was mesmerizing 🌇. At night, the sky was filled with countless stars! Last year, I had the most incredible road trip to Uluru, Australia, and I have to say—it was the adventure of a lifetime. 🌄 I’ve always wanted to visit this iconic rock formation, and the journey turned out to be even more than I expected. If you're thinking of exploring the Red Centre, here's what I learned along the way! We began our trip in Alice Springs, where the excitement already started to build. The drive to Uluru was about 4-5 hours, but the stunning desert landscapes kept us entertained, and the endless blue sky made the journey feel endless and magical. 🌵 We made plenty of stops along the way to take photos, grab snacks (definitely try some Aussie Tim Tams), and just soak in the beauty of the outback. When we finally reached Uluru, it was like stepping into another world. The rock is even more magnificent in person, and you can feel the deep spiritual connection to the land. 🌅 We decided to do the Mala Walk around the base of Uluru, which was a stunning hike that took us through ancient caves and gave us a chance to learn about the area's cultural significance. If you’re into hiking, definitely don’t miss it—just be sure to carry plenty of water and wear sun protection! 🏞️ For a truly magical experience, we booked a hot air balloon ride at sunrise. Watching the sun rise over the desert while floating above the stunning landscape was surreal. I’d highly recommend this for anyone looking to add a little extra adventure to their trip. The views were jaw-dropping! 🎈 If you’re visiting Uluru, respect the cultural significance of the site to the Anangu people. Climbing Uluru is now prohibited, and I think it’s important to appreciate this natural wonder in a way that honors its deep cultural roots. After our hike and balloon ride, we took a short trip to Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), another incredible rock formation. The Valley of the Winds Walk here was challenging but so rewarding. It took us through some stunning desert landscapes, and the views were absolutely worth it. 🏜️ In the evenings, we stayed at a beautiful resort nearby. The night skies were clear, and we took full advantage of the stars. Don’t miss out on stargazing; the Milky Way looks incredible in the desert! 🌟 This road trip was an experience I’ll never forget—full of breathtaking landscapes, heart-stopping adventures, and moments of pure peace. 🌏 #australiaroadtrip

#CanadaFlightEvent #OverseasTravel #AustraliaTravel #UluruTravel #LifeTravelDestination #LifeShotPlace There are many tourist destinations in Australia, including Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. I have traveled a lot in Australia while on a working holiday, but if you ask me where I liked the most, I would definitely say Uluru. It was a hot day that exceeded 42 degrees, but the huge Ayers Rock that stood guard over Uluru, the stars that covered the whole world, the Milky Way, and even the sand that turned my shoes red, it was a place that made me feel like I was in a movie. Drinking wine while looking at the picturesque Ayers Rock and having a barbecue dinner with the vast Milky Way as the ceiling made the red desert Uluru an unforgettable travel destination. Alice Springs is a unique town in the Northern Territory of Australia. Here is an introduction and travel guide to its attractions: Geographically, Alice Springs is located in the center of the Australian continent, almost halfway between Adelaide and Darwin. It is surrounded by the vast Victoria Desert and is also known as the "Red Center." The climate here is arid, with unique desert landscapes and magnificent mountain views. The local indigenous people are the Arrernte, whose culture has been passed down here for tens of thousands of years. · Attractions and Travel Guide: · Alice Springs Desert Park: This is a must-visit place when heading to the Red Center, just a 10-minute drive from the center of Alice Springs. The park is divided into desert, sand, and forest areas, showcasing the unique flora and fauna of central Australia. Along the 1.6-kilometer walking trail, you may encounter kangaroos and other animals. The Nature Theater features a show with trainers and birds of prey, and the Nocturnal House showcases rare and endangered animals. It is recommended to spend 2-3 hours here. · Telegraph Station Historical Reserve: This site preserves the remains of European settler settlements and is a great place to learn about the history of Alice Springs. By visiting old telegraph equipment, you can experience the communication scenes of the past. · Kings Canyon: Located halfway between Ayers Rock and Alice Springs, 460 kilometers from Alice Springs. The canyon was formed by tectonic movements, with red-colored rocks that resemble knife cuts, creating a spectacular sight. You can choose to join a day tour to hike through the canyon and experience the wonders of nature. · Kangaroo Sanctuary: You can have close interactions with adorable kangaroos and capture their cute moments.

The world's first 5-day fully guided walking tour in the World Heritage Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. This all-inclusive experience connects two of the world's natural wonders - Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Small groups of up to 14 people will spend 5 days and 4 nights in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, learning about the ancient Anangu culture and history, getting in touch with nature, and staying in specially provided environmentally friendly accommodation facilities. Brett Godfrey has been working for nine years to bring this 54km hike to market. He describes the experience as “a desert journey deep into the heart of Australia, a walk connecting two great geological wonders, Kata Tjuta and Uluru.” “The journey began in 2015 when I walked 150 kilometres with traditional landowners from the South Australian border to Uluru seven days later. It was a great experience of my life and one that inspired me to share this cultural wonder in an accessible way with those willing to brave the desert and immerse themselves in Anangu history.” The multi-day experience begins in the shadow of Kata Tjuta’s massive dome and heads east, following remote desert tracks through a spectacular wilderness, across red sand dunes and through mulga woodlands. Over five days, participants will take part in dot painting art workshops and learn land stewardship practices while enjoying daily three-course dining experiences, several of which are served under a starry Milky Way night sky. “For much of the trip, visitors will hike routes that offer panoramic views of these two great rock formations, both relics of millions of years of Earth history. They will carry only their everyday backpacks, stay in amazing eco-friendly accommodation and be guided by the knowledge of people who have walked this land for tens of thousands of years,” explained Mr Godfrey. "The final destination is Uluru, a geological wonder that is closely linked to Aboriginal culture and an integral part of Australian identity." The Uluru-Kata Tjuta iconic walk will start in April 2026.

Out of all the countries I've traveled to, this place left a lasting impression on me. It was once known as Ayers Rock, but it is now called Uluru, a name given by the indigenous Aboriginal people of Australia. It is the second largest monolith in the world and is a rare tourist destination that is listed as a World Heritage Site for both its natural and cultural significance. Currently, you cannot climb Uluru (Ayers Rock), but it is truly an amazing place. ୨୧――――――――――――――――――୨୧ information Destination📍Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park (Ayers Rock) Country📍Australia Access📍 ・About 45 minutes from Alice Springs ・About 2 hours and 20 minutes by plane from Cairns *Shuttle bus available from the airport to Ayers Rock Resort ୨୧――――――――――――――――――୨୧

This time I want to introduce Uluru, a place in central Australia. I flew from Melbourne to Ayres Rock Airport, and the flight only took about three hours. Seeing the huge rock Uluru on the plane is very different from seeing it on the ground. Only by personal experience can you know how shocking it is. I also can’t imagine how the local indigenous people survived for generations in a vast desert using waterholes and caves under the protection of large rocks formed thousands of years ago. During the three-day trip to Uluru, because I didn’t know how to drive, I rented a car and had a tour guide to explain the whole journey. However, it was the winter off-season, so it became a private tour. The sunrise and sunset scenery at Uluru are very different. The sunrise is orange-red and the sunset is fiery red, which is very special. Unfortunately, Uluru can no longer be climbed due to too many accidents, so we decided to join the Kings Canyon English tour group. Climbing the Valley of the Kings is not easy either. Starting at four in the morning, each person has to carry 2 liters of drinking water up the valley, and has to climb 500 stairs in the desert under the scorching sun before starting the official 4-hour hike. However, the scenery is really unique, and you can see natural rocks and dried fossils, coupled with the beautiful view of the Eden Pool, this trip is especially suitable for those who like mountain climbing. But there are some travel tips I can share with you: 1. It is best to go to Uluru in winter, otherwise you need to wear a mosquito mask to prevent mosquitoes from flying into your mouth 2. You must drink plenty of water and keep it from your body, otherwise you will easily become dehydrated. 3. Some hotels have swimming pools. Don’t make a fuss like me. Although it is a desert, they also have abundant underground water resources. 4. Take adequate sun protection measures, otherwise your skin color will soon become that of the aborigines. 5. The weather is really dry, and the temperature difference between morning and evening is also very large. It is better to apply skin care oil and prepare a coat. 6. Because Uluru is rich in minerals, it is best not to wear white or light-colored shoes, otherwise the color will remain on the shoes forever. 7. The food types are the same as other places in Australia, but if you are interested, you can also try their flavor food such as kangaroo, crocodile or emu Emu ;) I hope you like to visit different natural environments as much as I do. #100WAYS TO TRAVEL #Desert #Sunrise

Uluru is a place you should definitely visit at least once in your life. I went there without doing any research beforehand, so I'd like to introduce some of my recommended points and things to be careful of. 💐 Recommended! I highly recommend the camel sunrise or sunset tour! ▶︎I took the sunrise tour. The sunrise was fantastic because there was only desert around. ✨ ▶︎When I went, the camel tour included champagne, and after getting off the camel, we moved a little on the bus and enjoyed champagne at a place where you could see Ayers Rock beautifully. 🍾 Cautions ① It's very humid! However, it may have become no different from the midsummer in Japan recently. ▶︎You definitely need 2 liters of water in a plastic bottle! Even if you drink this much, you won't feel like going to the bathroom! It was horribly hot. 💧 💞If you take a tour, there is water under the bus, so you don't have to worry if you run out of water! ▶︎I ran out of water and got heat stroke. 💧 ② Act early! ▶︎I couldn't lock the hotel door, so I had to run and arrive just in time for the tour. It was a lot of trouble, so I should have acted earlier! ③ Don't go to Uluru in the Australian summer! ▶︎I went there without knowing anything, but the moment I got off the plane, there were a ton of flies. There were so many of them flying that it was like background music from halfway through, and they kept landing on my eyes and mouth, so a fly net is super necessary! ▶︎The moment you open the door to your hotel room, flies will come in, so be careful! 👉I don't recommend going to Uluru in the Australian summer! Be careful of a little bit of motion sickness on the plane⚠️ 　 There are a lot of things to be careful about, but it was a really wonderful memory, so I recommend it!! #sightseeing #Uluru #Australia #AustraliaTrip #AustraliaTrip #SeoulTrip #AyersRock

The world's largest monolith - Uluru🇦🇺 8 years ago, when I was gradually approaching Uluru on the bus, I felt very excited and could feel my body filled with power. Later I found out that Uluru is a place of energy🌕. Although I have been to many places of energy, only Uluru can make me feel the power personally. I have always wanted to come to this special place again. I'm really happy to be here again.♡ Uluru is 348 meters high, taller than the Tokyo Tower. If you look closely at the fourth photo, you will find a small figure, hoping to feel the enormity of Uluru💭. You can overlook Uluru by helicopter, you can ride a unicycle around Uluru, and you can touch it (only where it is allowed). The place to stay is the five-star hotel 'Sails in the Desert'. The hotel is very beautiful and has a swimming pool. The last photo shows the five stars forming the Southern Cross, which is very cute🫶🏼🌌. ▼ 📷 ① ② ③ ④ ⑤ ⑥ ⑦ ⑧ ⑨ 🐨Australia Travel Summary

📍 A large sandstone formation located in central Australia, in the southern part of the Northern Territory, within the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. The giant rock is called: Ayers Rock The local aborigines call it: Uluru 🔹Uluru, the largest single rock in the world, has stood quietly in the center of Australia for thousands of years. Scientists still cannot figure out the origin of the boulder. There are generally two hypotheses: Produced by geological movement Formed by falling space meteorites 🔸Uluru is regarded as a sacred place by the indigenous Anangu people. They believe that this rock is the place where their ancestors return and various gods and ancestors live here. When the ancestors created the world, they left their energy on the earth, and Uluru is the gathering place of all energy and spirit.
🔹This is also the reason why the Aboriginal Anangu people do not like people to climb Uluru or take photos casually. ⭐️Uluru was listed as a World Cultural Heritage and Natural Heritage in 1987 and 1994 respectively. ♦️This red boulder became famous because of the Japanese drama "Crying Out Love in the Center of the World"! #Australia #NorthernTerritory #Uluru #CallingLoveInTheCenterOfTheWorld #Ayers Rock
