The water is sooo peaceful, especially early in the morning. Tourism is low-key but growing, with people coming for the epic boat rides and jaw-dropping sunsets over Lake Prespa. Toilets were clean and there was a water fountain available. There was also a vending machine for some soft drinks and snacks. There are multiple sitting areas and can be used for lunch or dinner breaks. In information stand there were information vouchers available for activities in Ohio and places to visit famous places. She would often stare at it and dream of visiting this place with strange-looking boats and canals instead of streets with cars. She never thought she would really get there. Today, that dream came true. My mother finally made it to Venice.

In December 2025, we returned to Paris and spent several nights at this charming Left Bank hotel. It was likely our seventh visit, and we had booked a Superior Double room overlooking the courtyard at the back of the building. Of all the rooms we had stayed in at the Hotel du Levant, our December room stood out for features we particularly liked, including a walk-in shower in the bathroom. When we planned a return trip to Paris in May and June, we contacted the hotel in February to request the same favorite room. Unfortunately, it was only available for a couple of nights during our stay. Although disappointed, our affection for this hotel led us to book the room for the two available nights and select another Superior Double room for the remainder of our stay. I later received an email from Mlle. Kaouther, a member of the reception staff, who promised to do her best to accommodate us in our preferred room if there were cancellations or changes. Her kindness highlighted the exceptional guest care this hotel offers. By March, thanks to Mlle. Kaouther, we learned we would have the room for our entire stay! Our gratitude to her and Monsieur Léo is immense for making this possible. The Hotel du Levant continues to impress with quality rooms, a quintessential French atmosphere, and a prime location near the St.-Michel Métro station, providing easy access to RER trains to and from Charles-de-Gaulle airport. I live in Ohio, USA, and sturgeon fishing has been on my bucket list for years. During a visit to family in BC, we booked a charter trip. The full English breakfast, as well as the dinner of fish and chips and the delightful squash soup, were wonderful. My husband and I visited Las Vegas on a Caesar's Junket in April 2026, flying Sun Country Airlines from Cincinnati, Ohio. We stayed at the Horseshoe as part of the package. The flight was punctual and even arrived a bit early, which is typical of Sun Country. We were excited to have seats in Row 8, the closest we've ever been to the front of the plane. The Horseshoe was a pleasant place to stay, centrally located on the Strip. It had clean, quiet rooms with a view of the Sphere and the High Roller. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a glass of champagne, a goody bag including a magnet, keychain, and a snack—a delightful surprise and a very thoughtful touch. It had been three years since our last Vegas trip, and the city was bustling, contrary to what you might hear or read. Some nights, it was even challenging to find an available machine. Dining options were mostly limited to the lower level, and unfortunately, none of them accepted Caesar's rewards points, which was disappointing. On the bright side, you can walk directly to the Paris Casino from inside the Horseshoe, making the location extremely convenient. Time flew by, and although we had no luck at the casinos, the trip was a blast. Considering the price we paid, it was well worth it!

I visited with a school group from Ohio, consisting of about 30 people. The staff met all of our needs flawlessly. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. The room was tidy and comfortable. I found the location to be very convenient for reaching multiple destinations with ease.
