"Sun and Moon" is a cafe nestled among the rural landscapes of Nirasaki, Yamanashi Prefecture.
This cafe is attached to a ceramics studio run by a husband-and-wife team. Inside, you'll find a selection of exquisite pottery and tableware from around Japan, including pottery from Sun and Moon, as well as tableware from all over Japan!
At the cafe, you can enjoy a rich, smooth pudding and simple yet delicate Japanese black tea. 🍮
It's a small, cozy shop with only a few tables, but it's a hidden gem, so be sure to stop by. ♡
You can also participate in a pottery workshop with advance reservations, so add it to your travel plans and experience this special event.

The impressive Wanizuka cherry blossom🌸×Mt. Fuji🏔
"Wanizuka Cherry Blossoms and Mt. Fuji"
The symbol of Nirasaki City, "Wanizuka Cherry Blossom," is a 330-year-old Edohigan cherry tree in Kamiyama-cho, Nirasaki City, measuring 17 meters tall and 3.6 meters in circumference. ☺️🌸
The origin of the name "Wanizuka Cherry Blossom" is believed to be due to the fact that it is the tomb of Emperor Yamato Takeru's son, King Takeda, a keyhole-shaped tumulus, or the residence of the Ojin clan.
On a clear day, you can also see the cherry blossoms, Mt. Fuji, and the Yatsugatake Mountains, creating a truly beautiful Japanese landscape. 😊
When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, they are illuminated. ✨
This spectacular combination of the single cherry tree and Mt. Fuji is a must-see!
You'll be amazed! 🥹🌸🏔✨
