WILDLIFE HQ: A Fun Day Out
Had a gorgeous day out with my partner to Wildlife HQ. A lot of the animals were comfortably sleeping and I loved how you could see them all up close without disturbing them too much. Worth it!

#2024wish
Spent an incredible day at The Ginger Factory in Yandina – a sweet escape filled with ginger goodness! 🍬 The entrance fee was a budget-friendly $20, totally worth it for the unique experience. 🎟️
The Great Ginger Train Ride was a whimsical journey through the lush gardens – informative and fun, especially for the kiddos! 🚂 The Overboard Boat Ride had me laughing – unexpected splashes and a tropical vibe. 🛥️
The ginger-themed taste testing blew my mind – from ginger beer to ginger ice cream, they've got it all. 🍨 Don't skip the Super Bee Tour – honey tasting and learning about bees, it's the bee's knees! 🐝
Post-ginger indulgence, Eumundi Markets nearby are a shopper's paradise. Local crafts, gourmet treats – a perfect way to cap off a day of sweet adventures! 🛍️ #GingerFactoryJoy #SweetEscape #YandinaYummies #EumundiMarketsMagic

Sunshine Coast, QLD Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Nice cafe to see the Glass Mountain
My partner and I were doing a Motorhome trip in Sunshine Coast. After visiting the Glasshouse Lookout, we decided to have a coffee at the Glasshouse Mountain Lookout Cafe, and were very happy that we did. It’s a nice little cafe with seating viewing the stunning Glass Mountain. It’s winter time, so we enjoyed our coffee under the sun, hot and nice, enjoying the view. Staffs were friendly and nice. They served breakfast and lunch too, price very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit when visiting the Glass Mountain.

Ramada Resort by Wyndham Golden Beach
Staying here for 2 nights with my partner, a short trip in Sunshine Coast. The check in was quick and the staffs were friendly. We got a very nice, quiet room away from the lifts. It’s equipped with a small kitchen, enough for making your meals. The bathroom was spacious with a spa bath. The balcony with a view was my favourite. It’s just so relaxing to sit there enjoying a drink or morning breakfast. The sunrise view was really nice. We also tried kayaking as it’s included in our package. It’s a glass-bottom one and we did enjoy our time as the water was so calm and clear. They also offered a one time 10% dining credit in the Thai restaurant in the hotel. We did tried and it’s quite good too. Overall although the hotel was a bit dated, we still enjoyed our stay there. I highly recommended as it’s good value of money for a short holiday.

Kondalilla National Park Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Beautiful Rainforest in Queensland, Aus 🇦🇺
Kondalilla National Park is a popular subtropical rainforest, located in Sunshine Coast, Queensland. It is home of multiple species of flora and fauna. Kondalilla comes from the aboriginal word means “rushing waters”, describing the park’s stunning waterfalls. It approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes drive from Brisbane City.
Since it is quite a distance from our house, we decided to leave as early as 8 o’clock in the morning. We reached the place around 9:30am. It was a good time as there were still lots of spaces in the car park and it wasn’t that crowded. The entrance is free.
Along the way, we were able to appreciate the Obi Valley and Kondalilla falls from two separate lookouts. It is so beautiful! The rockpools above the waterfall on the Skene creek is a popular swimming spot in the park. Unfortunately, we didn’t bring any swimming clothes. We will definitely try it next time!
Although the walk can be challenging due to multiple stairs and rocky path, we were able to reach the bottom of the waterfalls at approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes from the entrance including the stops we made. It is definitely worth it!
Take note: Pets are not allowed in the park. Also, there’s a proper bathroom only in the picnic area near the entrance.
Location: Kondalilla Falls Rd, Flaxton QLD 4560
