Mount Tai / Taishan Steps and steps
We climbed Taishan in January the temperature was cold especially at the top of the mountain. We climbed the route from the Red gate/ Hongmen gate this took us around 2:45hrs to reach the top with some small breaks along the way. Once at the top there is load of great view points and options for food. There is around 7000 steps up to the top but then we got the cable car and the bus back down.#newyearadventure #mountainview

Mount Tai - Visiting area and mid point
#passionpassport
Besides historic relics, this mountain boasts unique natural scenery too. The lofty peaks, deep valleys, spectacular waterfalls, enchanting rocks and the centuries-old pines and cypresses will undoubtedly encourage you linger with no thought of leaving. The four wonders here are Sunrises from the East, the Sunset Glow, the Sea of Clouds and the Golden Belt along the Yellow River. It would be a great pity to miss the four wonders. We went there on New Year evening to see sunrise. It got very cold on the top so wear accordingly. #passionpassport #beautifuldestinations #travelinspiration #traveladdict

Aolaifeng Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The flying snow sprinkles on the reeds like silver arrows, don't say the flock of geese falls
On the 20th, I went to Aolai Peak, Kiln Side, and Goose Flock Gully.
Sword peak angrily pierces the sky, accumulated iron pulls up a thousand ren; overlooking the ghost valley is secluded, next to the stalwart of the giant. Aolai Peak is sharp and layered, where the Red Eyebrow Army once stationed. The pines and cypresses stand tall by the kiln side, and the hundred-year-old ginkgo tree next to the sheepfold is tall and straight.
The gullies are crisscrossed, the streams are flowing, and the mountain roads are winding. Perhaps some people think that Goose Flock Gully was once inhabited by flocks of wild geese, but they don't know that Mount Tai is not an ideal living environment for wild geese, just because this gully is named Goose Flock Gully like a flying flock of geese.
It's snowing quietly again, deep in the forest, a stray black goat is giving birth, and the affection of licking the calf is touching.
Taishan Mountain Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Taishan or Mount Tai is one of the sacred Taoist mountain. If you climb it, they say that you will live until 100 years old :) But i took cable car because it was too cold to climb for me, as we visited in winter. When we reached the top, it started to snow, making it really beautiful like in fairytale. At the top, there are some temples you can go, and look around for the view. I would recommend you to avoid winter though because it is always foggy and you cannot see a lot during this time #HalloTrip
Dai Temple Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Have you got the hidden gem of Tai'an Dai Temple for your viral check-in spots?
🏞️ During your trip to Tai'an, don't miss the time at Dai Temple 🕰️
🌟 After climbing Mount Tai, don't rush to leave Tai'an! Spare two hours to explore the Dai Temple hidden in the bustling city area, and experience the profound history and magnificent culture.
📍 Dai Temple is located on Dongyue Street in Taishan District, Tai'an City, with convenient transportation. You can get there by walking, bus, or driving. If you are coming down from Mount Tai and need to catch a high-speed train, it is recommended to take the cable car down and then take a bus to Tianwai Village and take a taxi directly from there.
🏛️ Situated at the southern foot of Mount Tai, within Tai'an City, Dai Temple was established during the Qin and Han dynasties. It was the place where emperors of ancient dynasties worshipped the god of Mount Tai and held sacrificial ceremonies. It is also a famous Taoist site. Dai Temple is a typical ancient architectural complex, with both royal grandeur and folk customs, and is known as one of China's four great ancient architectural complexes, alongside the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Three Confucian sites in Qufu, Shandong, and the Chengde Mountain Resort.
🏨 Today, the majestic palaces are well-preserved here, where you can admire the giant murals from the Song dynasty and many ancient inscriptions. Every brick and tile of Dai Temple seems to be telling a thousand-year-old story.
📷 Here, you can find many viral photo spots. For example, the imposing Dai Temple archway gate, standing in front of it, as if you can feel the vicissitudes of history.
🌸 Spring is a great time to take photos at Dai Temple, with flowers blooming everywhere in the scenic area, all kinds of varieties. Put on Hanfu and take beautiful photos! Ancient buildings paired with blooming flowers make for great shots.
💡 Tips:
1. When visiting Dai Temple, why not interact with local guides or residents, listen to their stories and legends about Dai Temple, which will make your trip more colorful.
2. After entering Dai Temple, you can go directly to the city wall first, walk around clockwise, and then come down to play. It allows you to understand the terrain from a high point and choose photo angles, which can save time.
🏰 In short, Dai Temple is a place worth spending time to check in. Whether it's to appreciate the style of ancient architecture or to taste the local cuisine, Dai Temple will leave a deep impression on you.
Spring outing to Dai Temple
"The profuse branches make it easy for the flowers to fall in abundance, while the tender buds negotiate to bloom delicately." Suddenly, the spring blossoms have already bloomed in clusters, filling the branches. Inside the Dai Temple at the foot of Mount Tai, flowers such as purple magnolias, apricot blossoms, plum blossoms, winter jasmines, and forsythias are all competing to bloom, presenting a scene of vibrant purples and reds, a splendid floral tapestry.
Following the footsteps of the season, wandering through the temple, with the east wind guiding and the spring sun conveying warmth, a turn around, and you encounter the garden full of blooming flowers.

Just came down from Mount Tai and visited Dai Temple|||I really love Tai'an!
|||I really love Tai'an!.
People in Tai'an are also very welcoming ahhhhhh
Very warm and down-to-earth
🚗Ride-hailing services here are very cheap
I took them for two days and never spent more than 12 yuan!
🍱If you like food, there's an underground food court right below Tai'an Station
You can go and take a look
There's a lot of food and it's all inexpensive
🚞I arrived at Tai'an Station by train
Then I started to climb at night
After coming down the mountain the next day, I visited Dai Temple!
You must visit Dai Temple!!!
And I bought a lot of trinkets
Like the Tai Mountain stones, I bought a whole bag!
All for less than a hundred yuan!
They are the big Tai Mountain stones, not the small ones
I bought them from a small shop right across the South Gate (see pictures 12, 13)
The owner is an auntie! She's very nice
She will pack everything you buy into little boxes, one by one
🌮
And the food!
Food in Tai'an is delicious, inexpensive, and comes in large portions!! (Except in the scenic area)
It's just too hot, with temperatures from 33 to 37 degrees during the day
If you plan to climb Mount Tai, I suggest doing it in the evening or at night
Otherwise, it's really too hot!

At dawn, the red gate shines with the sun, it seems that the ancients also liked to climb Mount Tai at night
Zhao Guolin, a Qing Dynasty poet, left a poem: 'Climbing the red gate in the early morning, the clear color brightens the morning sun. Looking down at the smoke of thousands of homes, the flat fields are all new green.'
The section from the Red Gate to the Middle Heaven Gate is located in the Zhongxi of Mount Tai, walking all the way in the valley, except for a nunnery and a few Taoist temples, there are some inscriptions by literati.
The persimmon cakes sold in Tai'an city taste good.
