Puerto de Mogan
Puerto de Mogán is straight-up one of the most magical spots in Gran Canaria—no cap! It's nicknamed “Little Venice” for its super cute canals and dreamy little bridges. Honestly, it's giving fairytale vibes all day long.
My adventure started in Maspalomas. Pro tip: Hop on a public bus along the southern coast—it's comfy and the ocean views? Next level. You get epic panoramas of rocky cliffs and adorable coastal towns as you cruise by. Trust me, your phone will be loaded with pics before you even arrive!
Pulling into Puerto de Mogán (Las Palmas, Spain—open 24/7, year-round btw 😍), you’re instantly hit with those iconic white houses covered in colorful flowers. The streets are narrow, totally Insta-worthy, and the whole place feels so peaceful. Stroll the marina, spot chic boats and fancy yachts, or just vibe on the sandy beach with crystal-clear water—hella calming!
Definitely check out the cozy cafés and local restaurants serving up fresh seafood and Canarian eats. Harbor views + tasty food = perfect afternoon. Don’t forget to snap some pics of the gorgeous scenery (the marina is SO photogenic).
Puerto de Mogán nails that chill “beachlife” energy—with natural wonders everywhere you look. If you’re in Gran Canaria, put this gem on your must-visit list!

Sunlit Serenity at Puerto de Mogan in Las Palmas
#hellohalloween Puerto de Mogan in Las Palmas is that perfect coastal gem everyone dreams about. The marina is stunning, filled with colorful boats and surrounded by whitewashed houses covered in bougainvillea. Walking through the narrow lanes feels like stepping into a postcard, with cute cafés and seaside restaurants at every turn.
I spent hours just wandering, sipping coffee by the water, and watching the sunset paint the sky golden. The beach is clean, calm, and great for a lazy swim or sunbathing session. Everything here feels relaxed and charming, like time slows down just for you. If you love picturesque spots with a mix of local warmth and Mediterranean vibes, Puerto de Mogan will definitely steal a place in your heart.

Mogán, The Perfect Spot For An Escape
Photos from my recent trip to Mogán, Gran Canaria.
Getting to Mogán is easy through Gran Canaria’s bus system which you utilise to get all around the Island for an affordable price!
Mogán has a lovely beach and variety of affordable food options especially Tapas located alongside the beach and surrounding areas. Mogán has their own Little Venice and is surrounded by various hiking routes and options. The sunset and weather in Mogán is lovely as well as the cats of the area which are also very friendly.
I would recommend Mogán to travellers who are a fan of variety, the location is great and close to Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria which is accessible via bus and takes around 10 minutes.
