It’s a flatbread made with butter and a traditional Bulgarian herb called Samardala. It was simple yet amazingly delicious🫶🏽 I paired it with a Bulgarian craft IPA, "Kukera," which had a pleasant bitterness and citrusy freshness, making it very easy to drink🍺 I also enjoyed some Bulgarian wine🍷 For the main course, I ordered the restaurant’s recommended Shevitsa signature meatballs and the duck leg Lyutika style. The meatballs were juicy and paired perfectly with potatoes seasoned with dill and garlic.
