Lubbock is a calm and peaceful city.

We joined Joe for the Little Amazonas Tour. First, we went birdwatching, and afterward, we took to the canoe for some nighttime snake spotting. Joe, the only wildlife guide in Khao Lak, is extremely knowledgeable. Since it's currently the dry season, we unfortunately didn’t find any snakes, but the tour was still fantastic, and Joe went above and beyond to try and locate some. However, nature isn’t a zoo, and there's nothing one can do about that. Gliding silently through the jungle in the dark by canoe was an amazing experience. Instead of snakes, we spotted a rare kingfisher, much to Joe’s delight as he had been searching for it for a long time. Communication with Danijel in German was seamless and easy; he accommodated all of our wishes perfectly.

The communication beforehand via WhatsApp was outstanding, the tours were conducted on time, and the guides were highly skilled. Both tours were organized in a way that we always arrived before or after the next boat or bus, giving us a private and exclusive feel. During the stunning trip to the Surin Islands, Fabio acted with great responsibility. Juli provided fascinating insights into Thai life and culture at Khao Sok National Park—truly exceptional. We were even able to reschedule the third tour two days in advance without any issues. At all times, we felt extremely well taken care of.

Great customer service Always willing to go the extra mile to help out. The staff is amazing always there when needed. Clean room hallways stair ways and even laundry room is excited has a elevator and also handy cap room Which is great and a smoking floor which I’m a smoker so but they are the top 5 I would definitely go back to and stay. If you’re passing through Lubbock, TX and need a modern & relaxing place to stay, visit The Aloft. All amenities are updated, the safety they have in place is better than any other hotel I’ve seen. Aloft Hotel is the MUST STAY hotel of 2023. The modem touches of the wall decor, the shower with the steam, bedroom perfect for melting away stress, and the door dash option bring it straight to your door. I was pleased to say the least. The pool was something I had never thought about until I stayed there. I ended up going to the pool, I was the only one at the time , and not only wading around in the water but relaxing on the chair. #urbanexplorer
