I visited the Kita Kitsune Farm in Kitami City. The entrance fee is a reasonable 500 yen per adult. The farm isn't very large, but there were many red foxes in the grassy area. While you can't touch or feed the foxes, I visited in the early afternoon and saw them in various adorable poses – some sleeping peacefully, others wandering around. Baby foxes born that year were on display behind glass in a breeding enclosure. They were also very cute. There's a slight animal smell throughout the park, which might bother some people. To reiterate, this is a facility for "seeing" foxes; you cannot touch or feed them. It's a great spot for anyone who wants to observe red foxes up close.

You can eat very high-quality livestock meat. For the appetizer, I chose salt-braised offal. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was elegant, and I felt the performance was good. Kitami is a yakiniku town, and there are yakiniku restaurants everywhere. There are some delicious restaurants, but some aren't suitable for dates, but I think this place would be great for a date. It's also close to the hotel in front of the station, so it's easy to get home quickly, so I would recommend it.

This time, we'd like to introduce the Fox Village in Kitami, a paradise dedicated to foxes. Enter the park, and you'll see Hokkaido foxes, with their orange fur and wiry ears, leisurely strolling across the snow. Some approach curiously, while others lazily lie back in the sun. In winter, their fur becomes even fluffier and whiter, resembling breathable cotton balls. Besides viewing, the park also arranges close interactions to experience the foxes' agility and warmth. Remember to follow the rules and maintain a safe distance from them.

The hotel is about a 6-minute walk from Kitami Station. After finishing the day's schedule, I check in around 9 PM. I am assigned the first corner room on the 10th floor. The room features long windows, offering a view of the railway below and a wide panorama of Kitami city on both sides. The hotel has a large public bath with hot springs, where I relax for 5 minutes at night and another 5 minutes in the morning. On this day, the temperature dropped sharply to 1°C, but after running the heater for about 3–4 hours, the indoor temperature rose to 25°C. The next day, I need to catch the Limited Express Okhotsk at 6:48 AM. Since breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, I make sure to enjoy a morning soak in the hot springs, pack my belongings, and check out around 6:10 AM. I then wait at the breakfast area. There is one gentleman already in line ahead of me, so I join the queue behind him. The staff kindly opens the breakfast area about 5 minutes early (around 6:25 AM), giving us a bit more time to enjoy breakfast. Thank you for the thoughtful service.
