It's been a while since I visited Itami Airport. This time, I decided to adjust my schedule and have breakfast at 551. Did you know you can have breakfast at 551? Interestingly, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, you can only order from the morning menu. ☑︎ Dan Dan Noodles & 1 Pork Bun - 880 yen I ordered this set, and it was served quickly, which is great when you're in a hurry♡ The small portion of noodles and pork bun was just the right amount—filling but not overly so. [Osaka Itami Airport] (Osaka International Airport) [Lounge Osaka] Cute❤️Itami Airport is full of Expo attractions✈️ There are Myakumyaku hiding in various places, so try looking for them♪ Lounge Osaka is located on the 3rd floor of the central block before the baggage inspection at Itami Airport✨ The lounge is free with a gold card, but anyone can use it for 1253 yen (622 yen for children)👍 They have a wide variety of soft drinks, tomato juice, milk, etc. I recommend the consommé and corn soup. You can relax♪ You can also order beer for 500 yen and highballs for 400 yen (with snacks)🍺 Many of the seats are equipped with power outlets and USBs, and one-person semi-private booths are lined up along the windows. It is easily accessible by subway or JR from Osaka, Kobe, and Akashi, so it is highly recommended as a nearby travel destination in the Kansai region. Here is a half-day Himeji travel itinerary. Travel to Himeji in the following order! 📷 2-3: HamamotoCoffee (はまもとコーヒー) Located on the way from Himeji Station to Himeji Castle, Hamamoto Coffee is a coffee shop with a cozy Japanese cafe atmosphere that is so beautiful. We ordered house blend coffee and almond toast, a Himeji specialty. We were able to watch the barista make the coffee, and the almond toast was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. It was amazing. 📷 4-6: Himeji Park (姫路公園) We had previously visited the inside of Himeji Castle, so this time we took a walk around Himeji Park, which surrounds Himeji Castle. It was still cold in mid-March, so the cherry blossoms hadn't bloomed yet, but it was a great place to take a walk. It was also nice to be able to look at the magnificent yet elegant Himeji Castle. 📷 7-10: Kokoen (好古園) For an admission fee of 310 yen, take a look around the beautiful garden Kokoen. My personal favorite place in Himeji, even more than Himeji Castle, is Kokoen, which is beautiful all year round. The cherry blossoms hadn't bloomed yet, but the plum blossoms were beautiful and it felt great. 📷 11-12: nana's green tea End your Himeji trip at nana's green tea, a matcha cafe with a view of Himeji Castle! nana's green tea is located near Himeji Station, so it's a great place to have a cup of warm matcha and hojicha before taking the train to finish your Himeji trip. We were lucky enough to get a window seat and spend some leisurely time looking out at Himeji Castle. This is the end of the half-day trip course recommendation for Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. 🍜Mendo Shuhari Itami Branch 📍Hyogo Itami (20 minutes walk from Hankyu Itami Station) This time I ordered ・Fujin Tonkotsu Sakurabi Char Siu (1,090 yen) ・Raijin Chicken Paitan Sakurabi Char Siu (1,090 yen) ・Raijin Chicken Paitan (850 yen) ・C Set 3 Gyoza with Mini Fried Rice (440 yen) ・6 Gyoza (460 yen) ️📝 I had the Fuujin Tonkotsu Sakurabi Char Siu. The flower-like char siu makes a big impact! The thin char siu is soft and densely packed with a blooming feel☺️ The soup is foamy, very rich and mellow. The tonkotsu had a rich flavor and no bad smell at all💕 You can order the chewy thin noodles to your preferred hardness! I ordered regular noodles, but the regular noodles were a little hard☺️ You can also get extra noodles, which cost 50 yen for the first bowl, 30 yen for the second bowl, and 10 yen for the third bowl, so the more you eat, the better the deal🉐 Students and those with children can get extra noodles and dive rice for free✨️ The fried rice is light and fluffy with lots of char siu. Osaka International Airport (Itami Airport) has a spacious observation deck that is 400 meters long and 7,700 square meters in total area. The view of planes taking off and landing from there is truly impressive! Once you see it, you will lose track of time and be fascinated. And in one part of the observation deck is "Sora-yan's Garden." Sorayan, the official mascot of three airports in Kansai (Kansai International Airport, Osaka International Airport, Kobe Airport), is guarding the garden. Sorayan wears a flight hat and a cute scarf, and his form is based on the motif of a pilot, a flight attendant, and an aircraft. He looks like someone who flies around in the sky, but in fact, in his official profile he says, "I want to fly in the sky one day." "What's wrong, Sorayan? He can't fly." As expected of a Kansai mascot, he never forgets to make self-deprecating jokes. The garden where you can meet the adorable Sorayan, "Sora-yan's Garden," is full of cute flowers that have been carefully tended. It's definitely a photogenic spot. This Italian restaurant is located within a 10-minute walk from JR Itami Station. It's on the second floor, up a flight of stairs. The squid ink pasta had a good balance of umami and sourness and was very tasty. I ordered focaccia and dipped it in the remaining squid ink sauce. For pizza, I had a buffalo mozzarella margherita 🍕. It was so tasty even down to the crust that I ate it all in one go. The staff were also very friendly and I had a pleasant time. #Itami

DEAN & DELUCA Cafe Itami Airport This is a cafe that I always stop by when I go to Itami Airport. DEAN & DELUCA's cookie tins are delicious, aren't they? The cafe is located as soon as you go up the escalator to the third floor. Itami Airport was renovated and reopened a few years ago, and DEAN & DELUCA was opened at that time. The downlights are chic and lovely. Even inside the store, it is an open space. There are seats with outlets, so you can kill time before boarding or take a break and relax before going home. DEAN & DELUCA is also a select shop with the concept of gathering delicious foods from all over the world. There are a variety of items lined up around the cash register. Just looking at the products is fun! Osaka Le Pain Kobe Kitano Itami Airport Branch Le Pain Kobe Kitano is a sweets and bakery shop directly managed by Hotel La Suite Kobe Harborland in Kitano, Kobe. The restaurant is actually located at Itami Airport❗️ It's great to have a meal while waiting for a flight or after arriving😌 This time, I had the beef stew set from La Suite Kobe😌 To put it mildly, it was the best❗️ The bread is recommended here, but the first time I went, I entered the store without knowing anything and ended up ordering rice lol What a shame... I went to Nishikuwazu Park in Itami City. Nearby is the Itami City Children's Cultural and Science Museum and Itami Sky Park, where you can watch planes take off and land. As soon as you enter Nishikuwazu Park, you'll be greeted by a large Moai statue! After greeting the Moai statue, you will proceed to the stone circle. Itami Airport is nearby, so while you are enjoying the mysterious park, many planes pass overhead. They are so close that it is difficult to have a conversation because of the noise! There are also many gazebos and rocks where you can rest when you get tired of playing on the playground equipment. This park has more trees and greenery than other places, and the breeze inside the park makes it feel very cool. It has an atmosphere like an oasis in the city. The stone circle and the Moai statue are cool and refreshing. There is also a city bus from Itami Airport to the park. If you are using the airport and have time, this is a park you should definitely stop by. You can store the Moai statue and the plane in one photo! You can enjoy an atmosphere that feels just like a European street corner. 📍 Aramaki Rose Park 🌹 Around 10,000 roses of 250 varieties from all over the world are in full bloom across this stylish, Southern European-inspired park! World-famous roses bred in Itami, like the "Amatsu-otome" and "Madame Violet," are also planted here✨ There were so many other types of roses blooming, too! The blooming seasons are from May to June and October to November💡 It was a little hot this time, so some of the roses were looking a bit wilted🥲 Even so, the park was absolutely gorgeous, and I had a great time taking a relaxing stroll! Admission is completely free, though parking costs 500 yen🚗 Also, with Itami Airport nearby, another big draw is getting to see airplanes circling overhead time and time again✈️ It’s a wonderfully open spot where you can enjoy both flowers and planes! I'd love to come back next time when they're in full bloom!

This is the oldest existing sake brewery residence in Japan, and you can explore almost all the rooms. Additionally, the attached museum is well-equipped! The area suffered significant damage during the Great Hanshin Earthquake, but the residents managed to save valuable materials from the disaster, and they continue to preserve them to this day—a truly touching story. You can also enjoy the art museum and Japanese garden without the crowds! Itami Sake Brewery Street, a hidden gem between Osaka and Hyogo, is highly recommended.

"Lounge Osaka" is located in the central block on the third floor of the terminal. It's a card lounge open from 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM (last entry at 7:45 PM).
