Brisbane, the Sunshine City, is incredibly comfortable even in winter! Taking advantage of the beautiful morning sunshine, we headed up into the hills! 🗺️Mount Coot-tha---The highest point in the city, sitting at an elevation of 287 meters. At the summit's scenic restaurant, you can enjoy a meal while taking in a panoramic view of the entire city. With the clear, sunny weather, the visibility was fantastic—we could even clearly see the winding Brisbane River! 🗺️Wild Canary---A botanical garden and restaurant that our friend led us to. Here, you can admire plants unique to the Southern Hemisphere. I had never even heard of many of the species before, which was so fascinating! Unfortunately, the place was about to close (they shut at 3:00 PM). After a quick stroll through the garden, we just grabbed a cup of coffee and left. We definitely need to come earlier next time! 🗺️Gold Creek Reservoir ---About a 30-minute drive from Wild Canary, we arrived at another wonderland... a truly off-the-beaten-path paradise. Along the drive, we spotted plenty of cows and horses relaxing and grazing by the roadside, looking completely carefree... That’s when I realized I had lost cell service at some point, meaning we were really out in the middle of nowhere! The winter closing time here is 5:30 PM. We parked the car around 4:00 PM and followed the trail toward the dam. The walk was easy, and accompanied by the chirping of insects and birds, the breathtaking, expansive view of the dam suddenly appearing before our eyes made me truly grateful from the bottom of my heart for such a wonderful day ❤️

Getting around was super simple too—just use the CityCat Ferry for those iconic river views or hop on a tram. And shoutout to all those cozy cafes in New Farm—hello, brunch goals! If you travel from the big city of Brisbane to the south, the cute little town of Ipswich is waiting for you... Here, there are houses with a rural atmosphere, beautiful and stylish houses. Importantly, in the center of the city, there is also a public park with a small zoo that is free!!! There are not many animals here, but it is very well done. There are paths to walk and see kangaroos, lizards, and various birds. It is a must-try at least once. #ilovetrips #australia #brisbane

This is a newly opened library in Ipswich. Apparently it is the only public library in Australia designed for children from 0 to 12 years. I thought the venue is very conducive and you can encouraging kids to do reading here. It is also walking distance to a big mall nearby if you want to enjoy some shopping. #indoorattraction #freeattraction
