The scenery was gorgeous, but it was just a quick photo op rather than an immersive experience. On the contrary, the second stop, Dinant, surprised me way more. As soon as I hopped off the bus, the view of the riverside, the church, the colorful houses, the massive rocky cliff behind, and the hilltop citadel all blended perfectly, creating a highly layered landscape. Dinant isn't the type of place where you rush from one attraction to another. The best part is simply taking a slow walk along the river, enjoying the views, snapping some photos, and catching the breeze. The whole vibe was incredibly chill. Dinant also has a small saxophone museum/exhibit. It was pretty interesting to stumble upon during the trip and definitely added a memorable touch to the little town. I also spotted people riding water bikes by the river, which looked super relaxing. If we weren't on a tight schedule with the day tour, spending a night here with a partner or friends—strolling along the river in the afternoon, pedaling on water bikes, and enjoying a slow dinner—would be absolutely delightful. If you ask me if this day tour is worth it, I'd say it depends on your expectations. If you really want to explore Luxembourg thoroughly, the time provided is definitely not enough. But if you're based in Brussels and just want an easy day trip to get a glimpse of Luxembourg and wander around a lovely riverside town, this combo is quite effortless.
