Helsingør A Danish seaport city, known as the home of Hamlet and Copenhagen's backyard. It's only 40km away. Just buy a train ticket at the central station, and you'll be there in 50 minutes. The sea in Helsingør is stunning, and there are rows of colorful houses. If you're looking for a day trip from Copenhagen, I highly recommend this place! Just remember to pick a day with good weather. We used Helsingør Station for both arrival and departure. We walked along the coast on the way there and through the city on the way back, so we didn't retrace our steps. 🇩🇰 A half-day city walk in Helsingør (no retracing steps): 1️⃣ Helsingør Station This vintage station is a sight in itself. The collection covers Danish navigation, shipbuilding, ocean trade, and sailor life from 1400 to the present 4️⃣ The Culture Yard Kulturværftet Formerly the Helsingør iron shipyard, it retains the main red brick shipyard buildings, wrapped in a multifaceted triangular glass-fiber structure.
