Chinatown - Sydney Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Best Chinatown in Australia
#summerbreak
This particular trip to Sydney was a special one as it was around the Chinese New Year period and hence a visit to Sydney Chinatown is more unique with all the Chinese New Year lighting.
Chinatown Sydney is located near Central station.Over here you can find lots of fantastic Asian restaurants and shops. I will recommend visiting the Friday night markets to sample some tasty food and pick up some bargains.
Been to all states of Australia and I reckon Sydney Chinatown is the best of all so make sure to visit it while in Sydney.

Actually good Asian food: Sydney’s Chinatown
Asian food probably isn’t the first thing on your gourmet list for Sydney but I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality of their Asian food there.
There are lots of Asian food available there including Chinese, Thai, Korean and more.
I had Korean food there which was amazing. I also stopped by a custard cream dessert place which had long queues and it was great.
Worth a visit if you want to have some Asian food.

the most beautiful garden
we went to the Chinese garden of friendship for $12 we were expecting a small little garden but we were wrong, this garden is that big they give you a map when you purchase your ticket 😅 you could easily spend all day there it has the most beautiful scenery and they have a cafe there too where you can get some light snacks and refreshments. we easily spend 3 hours there just walking round the whole garden, taking pictures and having lunch. Definitely recommend going here

Chinese Garden of Friendship, Sydney
There is a large Chinese community in Sydney. Just outside the local Chinatown in Darling Harbour, you can visit the Chinese Garden of Friendship. It's a beautiful Chinese style park reminiscent of the gardens of Suzhou.
To get in you need to buy a ticket for 8 Australian dollars, half price for children. The park is open every day from 10 to 5.
The park itself is beautiful, with lots of plants and flowers everywhere just like most other parks. But what makes this park special are the Chinese features such as the pagoda in the center of the gardens and the rock formations you can find throughout the park.
Chinese Garden of Friendship
#sydneytrip
Located next to Hay Market and Darling Harbour, the Chinese Gardens of Friendship is a wonderful place to explore the style of Chinese Gardens, architecture and some history and artifacts. There is a restaurant inside and during festivals and events such as Chinese New Year, there are activities such as horoscope readings that can be booked.
There is a variety of sculptures, buildings, landscaping, fish and fauna, including bonsai trees.
There is an entrance fee that helps fund the maintenance of the gardens.
You can easily spend several hours walking around the gardens.
Sydney Chinese Garden of Friendship

The Sydney Chinese Garden of Friendship in Darling Harbour is like a peaceful and beautiful park. It was made in 1988 to show the friendship between Sydney and Guangzhou. The garden looks like traditional Chinese landscapes with pretty paths, lakes, and special buildings. The plants and decorations make it a calm place to walk and think. You can see fish swimming in the water, and there are events like tea ceremonies that show Chinese traditions. The garden is a nice spot to relax and enjoy nature while also learning a bit about Chinese culture. At times, you may see some wild species here, which is pretty much tranquil to me. It's like a quiet escape into a lovely part of China right in the middle of Sydney.

APX World Square Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Sydney
Dear Management Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I recently stayed at [APX WORLD SQUARE ] and unfortunately, I must share some concerning feedback regarding my experience.
During my stay, there were several issues that significantly impacted my comfort and satisfaction. Firstly, there was a lack of room service throughout my stay, and the amenities were not replenished daily as expected. The provision of 20ml bottles for a four-day period was inadequate, and the subsequent replacements were of subpar quality.
Furthermore, the condition of the towels provided was unsatisfactory; they were stinky and appeared to be in poor condition. Additionally, despite the supposed room service provided after four days, the carpets remained uncleaned.
Moreover, I observed a lack of professionalism and hospitality from the staff, particularly the lady at the reception. Her demeanor lacked warmth and welcoming, which is essential for guest satisfaction.
While I appreciate the hotel’s convenient location, I regret to say that the overall service fell far below expectations. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this hotel to others, as it did not meet the standards expected for the price paid.
I trust that you will take my feedback into consideration to improve the quality of service for future guests.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
AMAN
