Spent a day wandering around Halifax and it honestly surprised me. Beautiful architecture, friendly energy, and such a calm vibe. A lovely little escape.

📅 Itinerary I went to the wetherspoons first at about 8pm, it’s was very busy, but I managed to find a table for my dinner, then I went to Bar rouge at 9:30pm, it was nice to have a drink there And I loved the atmosphere.

Day trip to Halifax to discover the life of Anne Lister at Shibden Hall. Whilst we were too early to experience either the Land Train or Miniature Railway, Shibden Country Park was accessible on foot prior to entering the home of Anne Lister as seen on 'Gentleman Jack'.

The interactive exhibits made science come alive, allowing me to explore everything from physics to space in a hands-on way. I especially enjoyed the enormous climbing structure and the fascinating displays that encouraged both children and adults to learn through play. The vibrant, dynamic atmosphere made it easy to lose track of time as I explored the wonders of science. It was a perfect blend of education and entertainment, sparking curiosity in every corner.
